Chapter 8! While searching for the peafowl, partner up with Mopsie to the Maze of Mirrors. You’ll find an option there to “encourage her wild streak”. You’ll need high suspicion and skullduggery for Mopsie to take your advice. Then, after Aunt Primrose rejects Mopsie/Figs again at the end of the boat race, tell Mopsie to “act instead of crying about it”. The couple will run off to Scotland and live happily ever after, or something of that sort.
It’s a good thing you remember these things. I’m authentically impressed.
Ah, I see! I always went with one of the LIs for that scene. Thank you so much!
Hello, I’d there a way to prevent Figs from jumping out of the window during dinner? I have tried multiple times, but it happens every time.
Through various means, you have to figure out a way to raise his confidence. It’s a little harder than it should be, but it’s very doable if you have the right skills.
I’m having a real bitch of a time initiating the romance with Frankincense. I accidentally started the gazebo encounter on my first playthrough, but I have no idea how I did it. Does anyone have any tips?
Choosing to have had a prior relationship with Frankincense, admitting it to Rory, trying to stop their engagement with Frankincense whenever possible: telling them you can help break it off; making them comment upon the weather to Frankincense; prevent them from kissing, choosing the option saying you left their family because it was obvious that Frankincense and you had fallen in love, choosing to be vegetarian, going to search Frankincense’s room during the hunt and after reading their diary choosing “I simply cannot allow Rory and Frankincense to be wed”, taking the jewel so you can return it to them later, riding with Rory and Frankincense and then choosing to cause friction between them if playing an abrasive servant, choosing to speak with Frankincense privately, returning the diamond to her, bringing up your past together, telling them you still love them (she should invite you to the gazebo then), choosing to ride with Rory and then inviting Frankincense, positioning yourself between them so they can’t talk to each other, choosing to think about Frankincense after assisting Figs, ensuring Figs doesn’t blow his cover so you can spend alone time with Frankincense, telling them you must meet at the gazebo, go join them in the gazebo after your nocturnal adventure, help them free the peacocks and tell them you love them, kiss them after they confess their love to you, tell Frankincense the peacock situation remains a mystery to you, choose to row with them, search the museum with them and tell them you love them again, telling them you want to live with them after the boat race
How can we get Haze to see a psychiatrist?
You need some stats over certain thresholds. Details here.
Sorry if this is a repeat of any earlier questions but I can’t seem to romance Frank. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong and its upsetting since I’ve restarted twice now. I know he’s supposed to ask you to the gazebo, and he isn’t doing so! Him and Rory break off the engagement and our relationship is at 64, so idk what I’m doing wrong. Somebody please help!
I talked about it a few posts up: Tally Ho Spoilers Discussion - #781 by fool
Omg! Thank you so much!
I actually got to the gazebo scene on my second try, and at the very end it seemed like something was about to happen, and then it didn’t
But you got something even more exciting and important than what you had expected. At least that.
So um… I’ve noticed something… in chapter one when Rory asks what your best quality is, picking “People find themselves fond of me. I have an inimitable way about me that is difficult to resist.” doesn’t make Persuasion go up and you have to pick “A tendency to become overly…emotionally involved with my employer. And I just cannot hide my emotions when they arise.” as your worst quality to make this happen instead which I’m pretty sure isn’t right
The “fond of me” choice makes Soothing go up, because Soothing people tend to be better liked.
The “overly…emotionally involved” choice makes Persuade go up and Skullduggery go way down on the grounds that your true emotions tend to show themselves and can’t be hidden (and this honesty tends to utterly convincing and charming in conversation).
I agree that this is far from obvious. If I had to do it again, I’d probably signal it in parentheses after each choice. I’ll make a note of that for the inevitable update.
Oooooh! Okay that makes sense nods Thanks for clearing that up!
Okay, nother question. No matter what I pick at the beginning of chapter 4:
Go with Rory
Stay and Check Rooms
Help Valentine
My Soothing goes down by 7. I’ve tried each and my Soothing goes from 78 to 71 with each and somebody I know suggested it could be a bug so I thought I’d bring it up. Sorry if its already been mentioned given how big this forum is
Your Soothing only goes down if you choose a different thing than you committed to in Chapter Three. If you chose to search the rooms and continue on searching rooms, Soothing does not go down; similarly, if you chose to go on the hunt and continue on with the hunt, Soothing does not go down.
Aw! Okay I must be picking different options then! Thank you! Btw, I absolutely LOVE this game and Haze is my absolutely favorite. I love him so much!
