Who are all the romanceable characters in this game?
As far as I can tell:
Really ? I tend to be revealing my feeling seriously since i met Haze and i even hold her tight when we were sitting on the Roman Wall… My relationship with her is already 88 before the start of the Boat Race
Well… I told Haze I prefer Autumn and gave her a poetic answer about Autumn , her approval about me went sky high afterwards
Is there a way to avoid getting the needlepoint wall thing?
Have 50 or higher in persuade or skullduggery allowing you to explain the situation or steal it once he has it. if you choose to sit on the train and pick third class I advise against giving him accurate gift advice. Giving him bad advice however could eliminate the struggle all together, hopefully it will at least lower the skill check difficulty(I haven’t actually tried this). My final warning is that if you steal it, the inspector is likely to learn about it. I advise you to alter his web of string to avoid being questioned.
Thank you so much! is there other choices that bring my persuade up? I seem to have difficulty getting it over 35(probably because I aimed to have a higher intelligence & culture).
Well since you asked directly. The following is a direct walkthrough through the appropriate choices to build a cultured, intelligent, and persuasive MC by the time you reach the train station.
First select the the Oolong tea. When questioned about Rory’s aunt select the option that says she should be obeyed. Go with the keen mind for you strength, and emotionally involved for your weakness. Next select the art gallery for your hobby. When Rory leaves to purchase cigarettes, you should follow and convince him not by inspiring him to win the wager.
When the subject of Rory’s dept comes up say you understand the importance of aunt primroses visit.
In the issue of Rory’s outfit the “unstylish choice” is most likely to succeed giving your skills. Next encourage Rory to read the novel himself. We’re skipping a few choices to the next meaningful choice. When Primrose asks Rory for his opinion on the novel, nod encouragingly. Skipping several more I advise you to take advantage of your talents to convince Primrose to trust Mopsie, as it is most beneficial to later efforts to leave the manor. At this point you should have 47 cultured, 50 intelligence, and 50 persuade. Assuming you play to your strength(acting, problem solving, sweet talking,
ect.) you should be fine.
I think i almost get to the end now, so far i am quite happy with the outcome, i would say a silly outcome since the boat race start, it was all Haze’s fault… she made me crazy, but i am still surprise the mess had been solve by me and Haze’s crazy’s actions
of course i chose Haze to roll together with me, before the race start i chose to banter with the crowd, insulting them by telling them i don’t need their support…but the crowd end up loving me more, i praise the col (not sure whether it affect the final outcome) but the Colonel said i can’t beat him as the best praiser in the world… so i roll on with speed despite Mopsie’s sabotage , and was actually leading after 2 sections, then come the most important part… Haze request me to roll to the judge and distract them while she stole the WINNER medallion, of course i will obey… then chose the Right path (longest and most dangerous) and almost got myself killed by trying to help the underdogs , after i was saved by scrubb … Scrubb was making joke of Haze for succumbing to the illusion as well and Haze denied it, i asked Scrubb to drop it (but curious to know what happen if i tell Haze i trust her)…anyway the Colonel won it and i was third , Frig was proven innocent because it was later reveal that the Medallion had been stolen , thus Frig couldn’t be the thief, and now the Judges will reveal who distract them before, the choice of blaming the judge was lock, i can either keep quiet or accuse Haze of doing it… which i of course keep quiet, and thus i got the blame… since the colonel was the winner he will be some sort of Chief Justice … and he made write something to praise him for few hundreds times, and i was off the hook …luckily the colonel loves me…lol, i later manage to convince Mopsie to think twice about marrying Frig and she agree…Yeh !!! Mopsie said she know me not liking Frig but at least i like her … then I hug and kiss Haze and told her that i don’t want to say Goodbye, Haze told me don’t say Goodbye then and offer me to stay with her…Wonderful !! i believe it is going to be the end soon, and can’t wait to see what happen, but i think i basically solve all problem, Rory and Frankinsence love each other even more and will marry soon, Mopsie break up with Frig… and i got to stay with Haze, seems happy ending on the horizon
Yeah… I made it my mission to destroy Figs as well, but nothing really seemed to stick. To give the chap his due, he’s pretty much indestructible.
Valentine is definitely a RO, and a surprisingly endearing one.
I was wondering whether Mopsie might be as well, although largely as as a gambit in my overarching strategy to crush Figs.
I figured she was. I’ll get around to her route once I’m done immortalizing myself as a member of the Inner Club.
As for Mopsie: in my experience, you can kiss her dewy brow as much as you wish and naught comes of it.
You’re seriously awesome, thank you so much for the detailed guide. I can confirm that using this guide gives those stats.
Later today I will be engaging in a effort to do everything possible to infuriate firesnuff so that when so that he’s in as bad a mood as possible when it comes time to judge figs, aka Light Filtered Lou. I’m not really expecting it to work, as figs seems to have the authors favoritism, being in that he is the only character to end up with something of a positive outcome (the devotion of a beautiful young woman) no matter what actions you take in the story. Still, the lack of a proper ending which allows me to explore a relationship with Valentine in the face of figs certainty as a fixture in mopsie’s heart, demand I give it my best shot.
Can someone help me on how to get ending with valentine? I tried my best but after i help valentine in the boat so he/she can catch the director’s attention it just seem to end there.
I don’t think Figs end up too well in my ending , i told Mopsie to consider her relationship with Figs and she listen… and at the epilogue , i got a letter from Mopsie who stated that she is apparently single and lonely , she invited me to visit her instead by telling things will be more fun with me around… although she also mention i shouldn’t bring Haze along…Lol
Hey i think you made a wonderful job on the Haze story line, because you allow us to determine her final destiny , for my part I advice her to use her skill to become a security consultant , because it will further annoy her parents by taking a worker’s paycheck , and she told me her parent’s smile had become one of sixteenth after knowing we are a couple…Lol , i love it when you allow us to have a happy ending for Haze without her secret being expose … Now i chose i haven’t decide what to do in my final ending, and there seems to be a cliff hanger there… sequel perhaps? Lol
I am not sure, but towards the end there is an option where we can become an actor? I imagine we can follow valentine back to America and become actors together? I am not sure because i didn’t chose Valentine as rowing partner and that option was lock for me
Hmm. I haven’t achieved that ending yet. Something to look forward to.
I think perhaps you need to ensure relationship with Mopsie need to be 100% first before you advice her to re-think her relationship… because she will say i think you don’t like Figs, but at least you like me… meaning the main character is the only other person who like Mopsie, besides Figs… Hence i don’t think she will listen to us if our relationship with her is 0%, so try to make Mopsie happy first before sabotaging Figs…Lol
Is it just me or is Mopsie actually a bit manipulative?
I have an inkling that she was somewhat manipulative and has the most volatile relationship bar I have seen so far.
Well, I believe it is up to perception … she seems to be willing to apply her intelligent and persuasion to achieve her goal, of course she also apply her charm and affection to those she hold dear (up to perception again)… i think there is nothing wrong with that since there is an ambiguity between manipulative and persuasive ( it all depends on whether we like that person) , even her “arrangement” with the law officers tend to be a “Diplomatic” solution …
Thinking of Mopsie’s background after reading the whole story , she seems to be lonely and has less friends of her own , and for my ending she mentioned she was not loved by many, Figs being the first one, and my character is only the second person who like her … i would think that if Mopsie is a manipulative person, she would had throngs of friends and admirers already, especially with her wealthy background, i would think that Mopsie is longing for True love and True friendship where she can trust upon… Mopsie may seems to be manipulative towards Rory and the Protagonist , but that’s because she hold them dear in her heart (there was some good history between my character and her when we were younger)… and being only one of two person whose Mopsie willing to manipulative upon(the other is Rory), we should consider ourselves an honour to be so…Lol
as for Figs, i believe he was the one who was really trying to manipulate Mopsie and misuse her trust for his own agenda, from beginning till ends, Figs just wants “Help” from everyone, help him to do this, help him to do that… and Figs thought it was everyone’s mandate to help him with whatever that make him comfortable … i won’t surprise if Figs want someone to feed him as well if he is to marry Mopsie …
Figs is the utter definition of “Parasitism” in Symbiotic relationships…
