Good question, not something I’ve thought of. I don’t think it’s relevant to the story since it revolves around the brothers being seen as of equal stature, feel free to headcanon it from your MC’s viewpoint and their opinions on it but it won’t practically change the story.

This is a really interesting game and I look forward to seeing more that being said the name just immediately makes me think of the song “Two Princes by the Spin Doctors” and every time I see it all I can think about is samurai listening to it.

Is yamanaka yukimori gonna be in the game being that he tried to restore the Amago clan
(I didn’t look up Amago clan facts or something I just got the general in a game so I thought I’d ask)

He’s one of the characters I’ve considered tying into the story at the early stage since you’re born around the same time
Historically, he helped Amago Katsuhisa in his attempts to restore the Amago clan, so Katsuhisa would be the more important character when it came to the restoration movement. Katsuhisa was the youngest grandson of Amago Kunihisa and historically he was a newborn when shit hit the fan for the Amago. One of the things I’m considering right now would see him have some revisions bumping his age by 10 - 15 years and featuring him pretty prominently in the upcoming chapter, possibly alongside Yukimori.

Haha, now I’m imagining a samurai teenage drama story where the rich samurai bullies just straight up murder the regular people for looking at them wrong.

You could have your character meet him and become friends being around the same age and have it so if your mainly a sword user you could eventually have him lead the cavalry
That is if he was actually a Calvary general (again I only have information from the game)
Or it could go the opposite where your brother becomes friends with him and he becomes a enemy general(as in if you meet him and don’t get along)
And if you go with him being older you could have him be the spear instructor if their is going to be special instructors for spear ,sword , and bow

It depends on how many story arcs I can sustain and how long I want to be writing this story. My initial answer will be probably not, at least not by the conquest path that Oda Nobunaga/Toyotomi Hideyoshi used; it just becomes too much content and it’d be hard to make the push-and-pull of you and your brother, which is what the story revolves around, stretch on over an entire decades long war without it overstaying its welcome.
Possibly I might add some political maneuvering similar to how the Tokugawa achieved shogun but that would still require at least 60 years of content from 1541 which is quite a lot.
We’ll just have to see, it’s too early in the story for me to have the future solidified

True in the end its up to you how big you want things to go and i can easily see it being something massive to something relativly contained and being good ether way.
