Tale of Labyrinth finished! BETA TESTERS NEEDED

Architect and interior designer needed for mind palace. For further information kindly call number on front page:210174013 My quick edit #17

Some moments of cosmic silence and then there was the sound

A voice on radio to be exact making an announcement:Architect and interior designer needed for mind palace. For further information kindly call number on front page:210174013

Protagonist: Is this what I think it is?

Creator/Narrator: The one and only!

Protagonist & Creator/Narrator: Here comes our ad! May we find the best of each for our mind palace!

The moments passed full of phonecalls. Some were humble some were arrogant, sad, happy angry, calm, desperate, laid back, but most of them pretty interested in the address and add related. The spams and pranks were also there but we’re mostly cut off early on.

Then a list got written down with the most secure options.

Radio ad was getting repeated throughout the day.

Protagonist: Great ad! It gets the point across without it being too much and no parasites on the radio.

Creator/Narrator: My thoughts exactly! And the no parasites certainly helps though I don’t know if everyone listening doesn’t listen to some parasites as well or perhaps some noise? Would call it white noise but it’s used like asmr so I opted against it.

Creator/Narrator:But the parasites themselves exist also in nature so it’s a rare moment of wordly ambiguity where the predetermined words aren’t enough. At least it’s not like the dictator movie where everything is replaced by a single word that it currently slides me! What a frustrating thing! Anyway parasites in plants are mostly unnecessary but some were used for religious purposes for example ergot on crops that was mixed in with other herbs in kykeon like concotion to create psychedelic sentiments in Eleusinian Mysteries as said from a researcher! But the parasites on sharks and deep water fish actually help them hunt down small fish so it’s ambiguous by design and by word at same time. Anyway here’s a list of the most safe bets of what we search for the mind palace!

Protagonist: Great analysis and can’t help but agree when you’re as factual as ever!So about the list did you call them?

Creator/Narrator: Yes I did though perhaps we can be more dramatic to it, maybe the best word could be summon them? As the mission is of utmost cosmic importance for a mundane call.

Protagonist:Yeah yeah whatever. We mean exactly the same.Potato potato

Creator/Narrator: Tomato tomato but ask linguistic specials and you’ll get the subtle differences. Also do we dive in mundane or do we take mundane to highlight the utmost importance of enjoying life out own way with our own philosophy?

Protagonist: There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy.

Creator/Narrator: A smile slowly spreads across their face. A copyright-friendly answer. I approve. Now, let’s summon them.

And summon them they did asking each and every one questions on how to treat mind palaces. Interview was interesting to put it mildly and contained of the following questions:

How many mins palaces are there?

Do you have experience handling them?

What do you say to people that believe they don’t exist?

Do you have a mind palace or wish for one?

Do you think mind palaces belong in the past or the future?

We have some mind palaces and want to do some schematics. Can you help us or are you busy helping yourself swiftly escaping this very room?

And the architects scattered as both anticipated having a few individuals careful witty or dumb enough to take such a humongous undertaking

-Perhaps humongous is too banal a word try heraclean yeah heraclean works- eh heraclean undertaking.

Candidate for the ad:Greetings I’m interested in your ad!

Creator/Narrator: Name and final wish?

Hobbs (?):My name is Hobbs and my final wish is to deconstruct everything and reconstruct it in my client’s wish of an utopia

I work best when my dear Leviathan is next to me

Creator/Narrator: Who’s Leviathan? A cat? A dog?

Hobbs: Neither. My pet fish. A Chanel Catfish.

Hobbs:So expect a glass bowl and feeding time breaks when it’s the time to. Is it ok with you?

Creator/Narrator & Protagonist:If you deliver us what we asked you in the quality we want them no problem

Hobbs:Glad you are okay with this. I don’t know if Labour law is applicable on this case but I don’t care so long as we both okay and respectfull to each other.

Creator/Narrator: Great to know. Here’s a token of our good will: 35000 LDR upfront and the other 35000 LDR by the end of the work plus 500 LDR if you deliver it before the pre mentioned time

Hobbs:Great! I’m starting right away! Show me what you want! Oh so this is interesting..Art Deco with statuettes of Cycladic Civilization or Renaissance paintings or Frescoes from Capella Sistina with Kandinsky artworks and Mayakovski poems on the frames of walls…the way I see it you got it ready…why bringing me in?

Creator/Narrator: You’re too honest for your own good. Why telling us it’s ready? Shouldn’t you tell us it’s chaotic?

Hobbs: Sorry but as I said before I want this work and everything I do to be based on mutual honesty and respect. I couldn’t feel well with myself if I lied to you and also I’m here to deliver your version of utopia and be up to your expectations hopefully exceeding them but nothing else. If our relationship gets out of business or straight business and maybe to a more personal friendly one then I’m fine with it as well. People seem to be bad by definition and though I’m a person as well I try not to be as bad for my sake only. Ayn has helped a lot with this as much as Leviathan helps if I’m down and it’s a huge compliment to her and to the way we met but you’re not interested in that so let’s add the finer details!

Hobbs worked tirelessly doing his best to deliver a custom utopia thankful for what he recieved and wanting to prove himself. So he delivered it with everything the protagonist and creator/Narrator wanted inside outside and around. Proud of his work he then shared the good news with Creator/Narrator and protagonist. All three of them were excited about it.

Hobbs: Thanks for everything! I had a blast working for you people! And you can consider the next time you need my services on the house!

Protagonist: On the house? Don’t we exploit you like that?

Hobbs: Not at all! Loved working for you and would love to be the one in your mind when and if anything happens to summon me to your aid!

Creator/Narrator: You already are. No doubt about it. If you deem it proper and not us abusing your generosity you can also consider a drink here and there! Some coffee, juice, wine, ale, mead your choice! A new bistro -bar opened closeby and it serves tasty food and beverages! Everything handmade as well!

Protagonist: Yeah correct! Is it called ambrosia or the cider of Hesperidai?

Creator/Narrator: The Cider of Hesperidai! And it’s a good idea refreshing both our memories as well as introduce our architect and interior designer -two in one- to join us on our cosmic breaks when we feel like venturing in our public domain. What do you say about it?

Hobbs:Can’t help but accept your kind and well thought invitation! Looking forward to it!

So here the three stayed discussing mind palaces maintenance while Leviathan looked at them saving their voices in its lateral pallium(LP) or dorsal lateral pallium.

Timezones locations cosmic tickets etc Safe travels everyone! My quick edit #18

Creator/Narrator: So with the mind palace out of the way we’re good to go for some more resting. How about a trip?

Protagonist: I can definitely say we overdo it at work and I don’t know about resting. Are you sure the trip is a good idea?

Creator/Narrator: The trip is a great idea! I don’t know about you but a beautiful trip creates memories and revitalises me. We both swore on protecting the plot. Well tiredness and sleepless nights are like the rust in metal railings of the balcony. What to do with art deco railings if the rust destroys them?

Protagonist: If you put it like that I can’t help but agree. Please take care of yourself the way I plan on doing we need this rest no matter how long or often we travel around or rest. The work in front of us is a big deal. Any locations in mind?

Disclaimer: Names of hotels and traveling companies as well as other details related to commuting companies for instance aren’t factual just part of the scene so with this in mind let’s close the disclaimer and have fun!

Creator/Narrator: Well I’m not thinking of earth but maybe some well hidden corner of Cosmos. I have a list of places that we can discuss if you want?

Protagonist: Looking forward to it. So what’s the first place on the list? Is the list random or by preferences?

Creator/Narrator: Well it’s not exactly random. List is based on comfort and serenity VIP treatment with either good prices or luxurious prices that coexist. So first on the list is The Proxima Centauri b. From ads online beautiful sea beautiful sunsets and close by the constellation centaur. The prices seem good and right now is off season so we may have more things to do without having so much noise.

Creator/Narrator:If you however want some more noise the best bet is Kepler -452 b in the constellation of Cygnus. Kepler -452 b is known for its night life, its luxurious restaurants high prices and a sense of secretive last Vegas vibe. Nothing leaks out so throughout the year it’s quite an experience!

Creator/Narrator:Third on the list is K2-18b. It’s pretty common as destination but mostly either families or couples visit it. Of course there’s always some individuals visiting for the book festivals and celebrations of full moon where traditional products are displayed with traditional electronic music more to what humans chategorise as psychedelic edm or space house or a mix of blues and rock and roll with some jazz solos in it. Don’t ask me what lead to these genres but a couple of these songs are in my playlists.

Creator/Narrator:Then if you don’t want to vent to something certain we can always get some beverages and hang around sailing across the TRAPPIST-1 universe that is undergoing thorough research and maintenance as the schematics seem a bit off but every visitor of this universe has some sort of cosmic insurance and mostly the adventurous types go there extreme sports like mountain climbing perhaps but we also need to have scientific permit and the procedure is tedious and multilayered with a lot of documents and evaluations psychological and physical!

Creator/Narrator:Some insurance companies don’t even want the responsibility of paying you if you go there so it’s a headache. What insurance company do we have ? Are we secure? The universe is also ruled by dictatorship so we need some permits of entry and of course not to cause a diplomatic episode so maybe avoid it? The milky way galactic association set a warning these days about visiting TRAPPIST -1 Universe so I think it’ll be wise to heed their warning. We still have so much work to do and we only need a rest, not unnecessary drama!

Protagonist: We got Pandora’s Box and it’s the perfect deal against the others: everything the others are paying at 200 LDR per month we have for like 60LDR pre month because we know people working there and we also got insurance of meteor showers sun storms and rain of lead and rain of diamonds as well as traffic accidents in Martian highways! They even allow us exclusive access to TRAPPIST -1 universe as they’re in business with some enterprises there. But you’re correct it’s too much of a fuss going over there. Do you have any other places to mention or is it just that?

Creator/Narrator: Just Observatory or The glass tower as it’s also known where we may time travel but there’s a malfunction in the period of King Harald Hardrada and it’s undergoing maintenance. We just have the local neighbourhood café restaurants hotels and libraries the furthest an hour or so by Sleipp car. We can also visit Asgardia Nation and even apply for dual citizenship or visit the Earth space station but I don’t like either scenario as much as the other proposals on my list to be honest

Protagonist: Well all things considered I think the perfect solution is K2-18b. We’re both art enthusiasts and your music playlists are truly inspiring. All places we talked about have their own mix of genres and their sense of what ethinc music is from a planetary viewpoint but given the book festival is also approaching K2-18b sounds ideal! It’ll also help with the plot we develop so let’s prepare!

Creator/Narrator: Great! We’ll also find tickets easier as the most difficult to find are tickets to and from Kepler -452b! Pegasus aeronautical sounds good? Or siren eclipse lines? I’m thinking of VIP on both if you want to.

Protagonist: Pegasus aeronautical sounds perfect!

Creator/Narrator: I just booked places next to the windows business class! So let’s prepare suitcases!

They prepared their suitcases and arrived at the closest space station. Some time later after the gate got announced they sat on their seats . The journey was about to begin and they couldn’t be happier!

Cosmic reality judges #19

The travel was a complete success and both returned rejuvenated back home.

This return however brought them towards a new reality: There was a scroll tied in rope binding and a small part that blocked it. A Pythagorean quote in greek was in the binding Ουδέν κρυπτόν από τον ήλιο.

The item was then easily removed and it was a seal of sorts with a scale and number 13. So it’s easy.

The message after an easy riddle was as follows:

Greetings, you’re hereby invited to participate in the cosmic gathering of judgement at 07:07 in the Supreme Court of Cosmos due to helping our work more than hindering it

Eagerly awaiting your arrival

Best regards

The four judges of underworld

After a while Creator/Narrator and protagonist arrived to the Supreme Court of Cosmos ready to watch the event unfolding without knowing what to really expect… Or did they?

As they entered the room of judgement they came across Thoth in a moment depicted nearly everywhere in ancient Egyptian art. There he was next to the cosmic scale weighing or trying to weigh a heart. The problem of weighing it didn’t have an apparent cause till they approached and discussed with him. Next to him were the four judges of ancient greek mythology.

Thoth: Hi people! Welcome! The meeting is pretty exclusive as you may find out. The people here are by invitation only and will perhaps be broadcasted in a cosmic frequency!

Thoth:I was too busy to add myself to the number and also I lost a bet so I had to allow them this. I have been to dust and back and still I have to search for feathers as we have too many hearts but not enough feathers

Aiakos:Welcome! It’s great to have you with us as you realised that the matter is of utmost importance!

Radamanthys: Oh boy! Here we go again! Thought we were past the importance and salutations part but alas

Minoas: Hey quit it you! This air of exasperation really doesn’t suit you. Weren’t you the chill one? Your words not mine!

Triptolemus: Did someone said anything about chill? That’s me! The absolute party animal or else known as the soul of the party!

Radamanthys:Soul right! Just because you judge people participating in the ultimate after life party doesn’t mean you’re chill you know

Aiakos:Do you want some break? Wait after the debate is over and we may even judge you! Hades would definitely hate it if he saw us and given he has an invisible cap perhaps we should say hello to candid camera of sorts!

Radamanthys:Easy there you old timer. Just because you remember candid camera-which is pretty late given what we already saw and lived up until now -doesn’t take all your eons from your back! Does Asclepius help a bit your back pain or is he kept away by Hades and Zeus? Hope his father and Ermes already found a way to make Asclepius walk again as he used to! Perhaps Prometheus already had his titan hands in this development or even Nyx terrorised Zeus!

Minoas: Radamanthys back off. You’re no youngster yourself so you should act like your stature.

Radamanthys: What stature? You dare speak of stature? Did you get to judge your brother Sarpedon or does he rest in Elysian Fields by any chance?

Triptolemus: You have to vent so vent but not on my poor ears I had a hangover yesterday after a symposium taking place with some tragic poets and Menippos came uninvited again Loukianos be damned!

Aiakos: Sarpedon is both your brother. And Radamanthys Sarpedon is in your jurisdiction as Lycia was still in Asia Minor when Sarpedon died! Our origin is from Zeus himself all three of us except Triptolemus but I think he’s chill about it! Had he not been that hospitable with Demeter though Hades would have been more lenient with us and Perspehone would have stayed with him more but this is a guess.

Radamanthys: Sarpedon was a European though! If he was Cretan he falls under your jurisdiction! Is he an unresolved case Aiakos? What did you or did you not do to our brother?

Random person walks towards them arrives just before them

Random Person:Could you please see the documents of judgement? Sarpedon should be somewhere in there but you already know it Radamanthys don’t you?

Radamanthys: Who are you? Why did you come here? We’re in the middle of something. There’s cosmic work at stake! We’ll be late!

Minoas:Please brother don’t do this. Let him talk to you and don’t make such a face. If it’s something you know speak of it don’t throw accusations even for the fun it may has for you. For this person to intervene something is off don’t you think?

Aiakos: You’re correct. Sorry for keeping you waiting we’ll be there shortly excuse him for this is just a bad moment of his.

Triptolemus: You know Radamanthys I think you should lower your voice a bit. Think before you talk. Who could have known what we talked about? Can’t you see I am no longer as I was in the beginning of our discussion?

Radamanthys: Oh could it be?

Random Person: Excuse me just a sec and your question will be answered shortly!

Random Person transforms into Hades

Hades: Better now Radamanthys?

Radamanthys: How did you know it’s him guys? Did you know all this from the beginning? Did you plan for this? I feel betrayed!

Hades: The didn’t know but perhaps they saw what your troubled mind or your momentary cloud of judgement didn’t allow you to see.

Hades:Radamanthys I thought you were wiser than that given your reputation and how wise you were in handling things back in the Underworld .

Radamanthys:Thanks for the pep talk I’ll try to take it down a notch.

Hades:I hope so. If you keep going like this you will lose your hysterophemia and your place will mean nothing despite you having my respect so and this position I gave you. You understand that right? Can’t keep you in place because you’re a son of Zeus despite Zeus being my brother and all because what kind of king isn’t wise enough?

Radamanthys:Even gods can have their authority stripped away so long as their believers worship other gods and forget about them. I understand you completely though I never expected us having this discussion. I thought you were okay with me boss man but alas it seems I miscalculated! Anyway lighten up a bit. Don’t be so gloom all the time! Meant no disrespect I just can’t be too dead serious all the time as the seasons can’t be all the same but you know this don’t you? You didn’t keep me because I’m the son of Zeus but because I stayed true to my purpose so thanks for reminding me of my place as you wanted to and goodbye.

Creator/Narrator and protagonist remained dumbfounded as this cosmic drama unfolded making a full circle till Hades left somehow.

Aiakos:Oh you’re still here? Well we’ve been preoccupied I’m afraid. Would you mind giving us a moment?

Creator/Narrator & Protagonist:Yeah sure. Take your time. We’ll be waiting with the rest of the people invited.

Creator/Narrator with protagonist then leave the scene not waiting for a response knowing full well no response could fully answer them what really transcribed.

Minoas:Dear brother, are you completely and utterly insane?

Aiakos:Are we certain he left? Maybe he is in here somewhere wearing his gift from Hephaestus spying us from somewhere? This helmet of his makes him do this very efficiently. What if he is somewhere transformed into stuff or another random individual? Careful what you all say.

Radamanthys:Oh I bet he’s in here watching he better be! But if you are dear Hades show yourself it’s pretty bad on your side just watching, but hey your kingdom your rules.

Triptolemus:Minoas please for the love of whatever you deem holy bring your brother to his senses? Drama king as he is I can’t allow myself to know I could have done something and I didn’t and would hate to see him replaced from another figure of a judge if his fame gets completely tarnished even if this person would be Socrates or Pythagoras!

Minoas:Oh you know my brother if something can get in his head nobody stops him but himself I’ll make another perhaps desperate attempt though

The four judges then return to the task at hand walking towards their seats in the room. Aiakos lingers a bit before seating down heading towards the Creator/Narrator and Protagonist addressing them

Aiakos:Forgive us this delay but some things needed to be addressed now moving on

Then Aiakos returns to their seat delivering a salutation:

Aiakos: Welcome everyone for the cosmic presentation we invited you into! Forgive us for the slight delay but we needed to cope with something unexpected and here we are! So to begin with let’s address the core issues first what is the notion of microcosmos? Does it connect with macrocosmos in more than wordplay and what does it mean for everyday life of everyone gathered here this glorious day? First of Minoas you may begin presenting your thesis:

Minoas:So the way I see it the microcosmos and macrocosmos are connected as a smaller system a group of individuals or part of something reflects the structure and properties of something larger. As hermetic philosophy said :As above so below

Aiakos: This is a great beginning. Do you Radamanthys agree on this take?

Radamanthys: I definitely agree! The structure of universe with its specific laws of existence makes this response holy and symmetric and makes sense why Pythagoras himself believed in it! He was a mathematician a philosopher and musician after all! If one person would know how the system connects and is interconnected this would be him…But in politics he … well it is a different story…

Aiakos:Thanks Radamanthys! Now moving on what about you Triptolemus? Is this kind of structure the way you see it or is it not?

Triptolemus:Well while I can’t stop but agree with how everyone talked about it I can’t help but feel that this symmetry if it’s approached as pure symmetry is a false construction by origin. I believe we need to ask ourselves the big why’s and what ifs if we want to understand the existence itself and the consequences of the macrocosmos and microcosmos. What about you Aiakos? What is your take in all of this?

Radamanthys:Yes Aiakos tell us don’t leave us hanging!

Aiakos:Well it would be only proper to tell you now. I believe your thesis is a good one Triptolemus a perfect balance on an imperfectly perfect universe.

Then all judges pretty much invested on the discussion presented their thesis each as they could best. Minoas believed microcosmos macrocosmos was connected in a Pythagorean symmetrical way. Triptolemus believed any extreme form of presentation or calculation was at fault as universe had what he proposed as a chaotically beauty and the symmetry just enhances the chaos. Aiakos acted as a logical bridge between them. Radamanthys at times agreed with them only to dramatically disagree and hint at the folly of wise men that can’t comprehend the universe. Even hinting again at Pythagoras failing to live a happy life though he considered in the beginning to be as sacred as the concepts in discussion.

Aiakos: First half of discussion has passed so now it’s time for a slight break! We’ll return in about 40 minutes!

Radamanthys: Aiakos why stopping there? It wasn’t the half of discussion do we lie now to people?

Aiakos:If I hadn’t stopped you would have turned it into a circus. I know you are wise enough not to make people know our cosmic struggle. Whenever mortals knew of us they had a tragic fate the fate of Semele for instance Kassandra, Laocoon and his sons Diomedes etc so if my lie was bad for you imagine what lead me there now apologise Rhadamanthys

Rhadamanthys: My playful jabs didn’t want to harm Pythagoras or harm his fame or perhaps it’s what I tell myself. I didn’t want to anger Hades or blame you on Sarpedon. Truth be told we are both the proper ones to judge him yet he’s our brother. How can we judge him like that? He’s destined for Elysian Fields with Achilles and the others. A part because he’s our brother but another perhaps bigger part about his achievements in his life.So I’m truly sorry Minoas and Aiakos. Despite my eons of foresight and my lore friendly unmistakable wisdom I was quite a fool earlier. I value you a lot and wouldn’t want to leave my post for anything. Thank you for reminding me what matters.

Back in the room where the discussion took place Creator/Narrator and protagonist tried making sense out of all this

Protagonist: What was this about? How rare to witness something like that! The theme of discussion is pretty intense but even for this perfect moment of divine intervention it was more than worth it!

Creator/Narrator: This was exactly what you saw. Cosmic power at its finest lore friendly Hesiod’s version kinda though I doubt he would have ever written or anticipated that. And you’re correct! This scene we had the luck of witnessing was something unforgettable!

As they talk they both witness the crowd gathering in a certain place gossiping perhaps on something

Creator/Narrator: What now? Don’t tell me Hades wanted to perform here? He’s not Apollo or Dionysus to gather the crowd like that. Always thought he was one of the most humble gods. Could it be him, another god, a mythical beast, or just a cat always sitting or laying where it shouldn’t?

Protagonist:We don’t lose anything from watching from a distance. Shall we?

Creator/Narrator:We definitely should!

Protagonist & Creator/Narrator approach the crowd only to feel surprise and deja vu on the purest form watching Hobbs sitting with elegant clothing and his channel catfish Leviathan inside its glass bowl.

Creator/Narrator:Is that…

Protagonist:Hobbs and Leviathan! Yes, small world right?

Creator/Narrator: Definitely! Let’s go greet him!

Creator/Narrator: Greetings there Hobbs! What a surprise seeing you here! Were you in the first part as well or did you just arrive?

Hobbs: Creator/Narrator, Protagonist! So good seeing you both! I was in the first part as well sitting front row. Were you as well in the first part?

Creator/Narrator & Protagonist: We were! Front row as well!

Hobbs: Quite interesting given it’s a small crowd! It seems to be a small crowd and an event smaller world! What are you doing here?

Creator/Narrator & Protagonist:We should ask you the same. We wanted to witness the Cosmic discussion and we decided to come after we found a strange invitation! What about you?

Hobbs:How peculiar! I found an invitation as well in my house and some strange sentences of a cannon universe. How odd! Perhaps they invited me after some lectures I gave before them or because of my books. I write books attend lectures and create and design mind palaces!

Creator/Narrator & Protagonist: Sounds like a lot! We love your books and the mind palace you created and designed was beautiful!Hope you have some time to just rest! Personally we can’t get enough rest. Our work is as heavy though it may won’t appear to be from a third observer that lacks empathy and understanding.

Hobbes:I see! I have no doubt you do a great job! Read some scribblings on the mind palace you put on frames and I’m not talking on the Mayakovski ones. Excellent work! So any news?

Creator/Narrator: Nothing really. More work and less resting. We did have a trip however to K2-18b. There was an upcoming book festival so we bought some books made some memories and worked in a different environment with a new perspective! It helped a lot! What about you any news?

Hobbs: K2-18b is a beautiful place. Magnificent scenery great music and art festivals, book festivals, full moon celebrations!I published some books over there Gryffin Editions with calfskin binding and gold and embroided!Next time you visit the place head to these editions if you want! They have something like a book café and their books are beautifully binded! Some are hardcover other use calfskin binding, vellum and other stuff. But you can always visit me at home I live close to you in the same cosmic neighborhood! Speaking of travels I had the misfortune of traveling to TRAPPIST -1 Universe as I always wanted to visit it but didn’t expect things going bad that fast. To summarise I found myself involved with some revolutionaries and the regime there is dictatorship so I was this close to a diplomatic episode but thankfully I escaped! You did good avoiding it as a place of vacation and please keep avoiding it!

The three of them discussed more. 40 minutes pass really fast and the discussion of the judges continued on. Some analysis was done about cause and effect and cosmic microwave background or relic radiation but the thing that stuck in the end was the final rhetorical question delivered by Aiakos and Rhadamanthus:The intrigue of microcosmos and macrocosmos meet the intrigue of human life. The burden of being, the burden of leaving, the burden of having your choices chosen by someone else, and your actions to change it or not is like you claiming that you agree on terms and conditions.

What part is the terms and conditions? What part is the self? What part is the judgment? Is the game rigged? Is the judgement rigged? Is the judgement judged and forgotten like ancient colours painting the grandeur? Questions that needed answering yet were as captivating or even more than their answers! Protagonist, Creator/Narrator, Hobbs had a marvellous time! The event was more than worth it for the discussion and the event Protagonist and Creator/Narrator witnessed and will be on their minds for a long time if not forever!

Muses and a new type of immortality My quick edit#20

Protagonist: Και τι δεν κάνατε για να με θάψετε όμως ξεχάσατε πως ήμουν σπόρος -Ντίνος Χριστιανόπουλος από την συλλογή το κορμί και το σαράκι (1978)-

You did everything you could to bury me but you forgotten that I was a seed -Dinos Christianopoulos -From the poetic collection -Το κορμί και το σαράκι (1978)-

Creator/Narrator:Why quoting Christianopoulos all of a sudden?

Protagonist:I just find this one inspiring me to create

Creator/Narrator: Inspiration is a fickle thing. It comes and goes like a tidal wave. Sometimes in a serene way, some others as crushing wave, sometimes unmoving seemingly but the ideas like the fish remain and live through it.

Protagonist:Really poetic as you described it. I think it’s like this. The inspiration is indeed fickle and don’t let me get started on the Muse concept

Creator/Narrator: The concept of Muse is not a constant. Sometimes it is a person some others it’s an idea or a take on a concept or philosophy or all of them or none of them. God Apollo was their leader. Initially Muses were nymphs of mountains and water as Hesiod clarifies. Their parents are godess Mnemosyne daughter of Ouranos(Sky) and Gaia (personification of earth)and Zeus the -god leader of ancient greek pantheon son of Raia and Cronus- that laid together for nine nights and after a year with the passing of seasons and some more days in their cycle the Muses were born that all loved music. Mnemosyne is the godess of Memory and a titanide.

Protagonist: When I said don’t get me started on the Muse concept I mostly referred to the real world expectations. I’m an avid fan of mythology so tell me more! Who were they?

Creator/Narrator: Glad to know this! Well the muses were:

Creator/Narrator:Calliope was the museum of epic poetry and rhetoric.

Creator/Narrator:Cleo the muse of history that guaranteed the faith to the original text,

Creator/Narrator:Ourania was the muse of astronomy.

Creator/Narrator:Euterpe was the muse of music.

Creator/Narrator:Terpsichore was the muse of dancing and drama chorus playing lyre dancing. Her symbols are the triangle harp and lyre.

Creator/Narrator:Erato was the muse of lyrical poetry and hymns. Her symbols were the guitar forminx and barbiton lyre. Barbiton lyre is also attributed to Melpomene another muse who is considered the creator of barbiton lyre.

Creator/Narrator:Melpomene was considered to be the muse of music(Taking the role of Euterpe)in the beginning but later on she was considered to be the muse of drama. Melpomene is considered to be the mother of Ancient Greek Sirens.

Creator/Narrator:Thaleia was the muse that discovered geometry architecture agriculture and comedy. She is also considered to be the protector of ancient greek symposium.

Creator/Narrator:Polymnia was the muse of hymns dedicated to heroes and Gods.

Protagonist: The division is quite thematic yet interconnecting . It makes me wonder how thoughtful they were on their lore and if they knew something more than nowadays. Perhaps they were wiser at some things and fools at others.

Creator/Narrator: Every civilization that existed exist or will exist is based on what you said:It will be wiser at some things and fool at others. The wisdom is balanced by folly. Take Ancient Egypt for example. They were wise enough to create something worth mentioning and remembering yet fool enough not to foresee their own downfall or react to it before it’s too late.

Creator/Narrator:Speaking of Ancient Egypt their divine protector of writing and hidden knowledge was Thoth so it is safe to assume that he represented poetry.

Creator/Narrator:In contrast Ancient Viking culture had skulds and Braggi-who: WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD:does fight in the Ragnarok but hey at least Baldur gets resurrected.-

the patron god of poetry but Odin represented hidden knowledge as a god. So the unity of hidden knowledge and poetry in Ancient Egypt is division in Ancient Viking civilization and further perhaps more elaborate division in ancient Greece with the muses and gods like Hermes or Athena. The depiction of vikings in popular shows doesn’t do justice to the fact that they loved arts or other key parts of their culture adding this to a series of historical inaccuracies. Finally another fact of vikings was the story of Kvassir the wisest man alive that his blood turned into a holy drink named the mead of poetry that has a story of its own.

Protagonist: I know of Kvassir and the mead of poets learned some things about muses now but is the connection as seamless as you made it appear? Archeology seems as a science pretty focused when discussing this kind of stuff making the necessary bridges appear here and there but not a lot.

Creator/Narrator: The connection is seamless. I just presented it. Archeology as other sciences are made to be specific. Yet instead of us trying to unite into multifaceted scientific artistic philosophical debate we overspecify things so as only archeologists can talk with each other and have a more grounded discussion. Yet even in archaeology there’s discussion with other scientists and rest of arts or world in general. Some archaeologists are specialized in a certain field so it makes sense to talk about the field they’re more knowledgeable. The issue appears to exist when asking who’s the more capable and special to talk about stuff and that’s where authority figures may use their power to become undisputed sources of truth.

Protagonist:All these are good but literally is there a connection between the poetry on each of the civilizations you described? In the creative sense not the mythological one. Like on works we currently have from these three civilizations is the connection there?

Creator/Narrator:Well if you look right through it, Ancient Greek poetry has a really tight connection to Viking poetry on the epic scale of things. The style differs but the things expressed are there common like a reflection of sorts. Maybe because ancient greek culture and Viking culture were warrior cultures. Ancient greek poetry was also about other kinds of poetry if we consider the difference between the Muses related to poetry. Lyrical poetry for instance is expressed by figures like Sappho and Pindar. Sappho’s lyrical poems, Pindar’s celebratory idea.

Creator/Narrator:Ancient viking poetry was also about portraying viking society customs , values historical narration. Also skaldic poetry has dróttkovœtt meter(the heroic meter). Skaldic poetry was quite complicated using stressed, undressed lines with stable number of syllables something like overcomplicated epic haiku(Japanese poem type)in old Scandinavian languages!

Creator/Narrator:Also sometimes the skaldic poems are about saving the poet’s life from a king, a cucnean hymn of sorts? An example of this is from Egils Saga Skallagrimsson (by the famous Egil Skallagrimsson) where he wrote a poem to save his life from kind Eiríkr which earned him a pardon.

Creator/Narrator:Egil Skallagrimsson was a skilled skald a warrior poet farmer and berserker who lived in 10th century. A perfect example of a unity of art , violence, honour and humanity at its finest! Skaldic poetry was more focused on bravery, praise of rulers and powerful persons, death and natural world.

Skaldic poetry was more ornate and complicated than eddic poetry that sources from the Poetic Edda.

Creator/Narrator:Poetic Edda is the modern name for a mosaic of Old Norse anonymous narrative poems in an alliterative verse. Poetic Edda is different than the closely related Prose Edda. Various versions of Poetic Edda exist though the most famous one is the Icelandic manuscript Codex Regius. The Codex Regius contains 31 poems and is thought to have been written in 1270 , is made up by 45 vellum leaves. The work also contained 8 more vellum leaves that are now missing.

Creator/Narrator: Something to also consider is that Old Norse poetry and Old English poetry share a great number of similarities due to their common Germanic roots, including an alliterative verse form, poetic vocabulary, poetic circumlocutions named kennings. However, they are distinct poetic traditions with notable differences in meter (Old Norse Skaldic poetry is stanzaic, unlike the line-by-line stichic form of Old English), themes, and preservation. While there are many overlapping features, Old English and Old Norse poetry are separate, though related, bodies of literature that offer insight into early Germanic poetic practices.

Creator/Narrator:Ancient Egyptian poetry was about loss daily life a formulaic style with parallels and metaphors. It was passed down orally by older generation to next one as only a small part of population could write. Ancient Egyptian poetry was divided into certain types:Love poetry, religious poetry, narrative poetry, work songs. Core examples of ancient Egyptian poetry include:the Life of Sinuhe and new Kingdom Love Poems.

Creator/Narrator:The life of Sinuhe is a core example of narrative poetry from 1850BC.

Creator/Narrator:New Kingdom love poems were found in papyri expressing passionate feelings and the desire for a beloved using vivid imagery like a comparison of love to penetration of honey to water or the advance of flames in straw.

Protagonist: Every ancient distinct poetry we mentioned evolved a lot till it changed and became its current form today. Facts that were significant historically were the fall of all mentioned civilization for different reasons each, as well as the evolution of language that sometimes happened in a natural way or a different way quite often violent way. For instance Old English poems with the most notable one the Caedmon’s Hymn written in old English praising the God. Old English as well established has Germanic roots. Modern English came to be my merging the initial Germanic roots with Norman ones after the conquest of England by Duke William the conqueror in 1066 AC.

Protagonist: Nowadays we read Katinka My Jones , Marianne Larsen,Ludvig Holdberg,Keats, Milton, Wordsworth,Percy Bysshe Shelley,Emily Brontë Elytis, Sikelianos, Kostis Palamas, Andreas Kalvos Dionysios Solomos, Kostas Ouranis Hafez Ibrahim, Neguib Mahfouz, Salah Abdel Sabour, Ibrahim Nagi, Abbas Mahmoud al-Aqqad to name just a few but we certainly can’t disregard all the eons of literary evolution that could still make us experience something profound and humane in its core!

Creator/Narrator: Exactly! Wonderfully said! There’s more to it than the stanzas the metric or the era a poem was written!

So after this discussion they sat inside the magnificent library reading poetry getting all the necessary mental images gaining insight and inspiration for the creative work ahead!

Some heroes don’t wear capes…they don’t even get a statue My quick Edit#21

Creator/Narrator: What do you think as a feat?

Protagonist: Something great that makes people better human beings? Heroes fighting scientists inventing people just not being their shadow selfs but giving a damn about making this world better?

Creator/Narrator: True that. Everyday heroes are overlooked. They just are like Fibonacci curve yet not as holy or omniscient in Cosmic symmetry. The state is at fault and so are we.

Protagonist:Your approach is pretty grounded. Almost like a dictionary definition.

Creator/Narrator: What can I say? The dictionary won’t have my way of thinking just plain definition. Perhaps dictionary from dictionary is different and all we get to experience in communicating is an elaborate wordplay if not for the emotional vibrations and the way we give colour in everything as we experience life in its prism.

Protagonist:You know… it’s funny… Mythology doesn’t appear to be able to fit in it’s grandeur and complicated world building the struggle and anxiety of humans despite them being the ones writing it. Well not all of them but you see where I’m coming from. Personally the scene of weighing the heart with a wing of Ma’at on judgement day is more to my liking and kinda gives me goosebumps by its perfect execution. Weighing the heart to pass judgement on life not by epic means only by what it means to be human. The Catharsis and damnation that go hand in hand.

Creator/Narrator: Really powerful scene I agree. But is there anything to add?

Protagonist:Like what? Please elaborate.

Creator/Narrator: Given the context of the scene you just described you still didn’t make the connection with the overlooked everyday humans and the overlooked yet revered goddesses in ancient greek pantheon for example. Hestia is a profound example of what I just described. She’s the personification of family hearth yet the core gods appear to be Zeus the ruler of ancient greek pantheon, Athena and the rest gods. Not to mention the other gods of sea rivers lakes that personified them. The god of a river is the personification of said river on a God.

Protagonist:Oh now I see what you mean! Kinda like the interconnection between ancient greek aoids rhapsodes and skalds. All these despite the different era and place expressed their distinct culture. They allowed their personal aoid rhapsode skaldic personna to flourish and they had to put their art in each civilization mold being scripted to act as the way of expressing not the way modern poets do today

Creator/Narrator:The absurd of creation is right there next to us. Great art doesn’t pose the question if we are ready it just arrives and only in the final moments if blooms like a sunflower. It blooms looking at the rising sun in a new cycle of being aiming for the rebirth, while having experienced everything in between.

Protagonist: Exactly that! Speaking of absurd, here’s something I found really interesting:You know on the work “Pluto” written by Aristophanes Penia tries to make central heroes to acknowledge her contribution and in order to persuade them she says that she makes or not the perfect human by shaping them through the struggles of survival. There’s also a saying delivered by God Pluto that he wanted to only reward the honest yet everyone appeared to be honest so as to steal from him as he says in the same work as well. So in a way it makes perfect sense in a world of make believe where the judgement is about the external more than the internal values worth personality that everyday heroes are overlooked!

Protagonist:Heimdall visited three couples back as Rígr to establish human order. The first couple was the poor couple. Their names Ai and Edda.He laid between them and after nine months the woman got pregnant with a son.Their son Thrall was the ancestor of lowest social class the slaves and serfs.

Protagonist:The second couple was the wealthier. Their names were Afi and Amma.He laid between them and after nine months the woman got pregnant with a son.Their son Karl, represented middle social class of farmers and craftsmen.

Protagonist:The third and final couple was the noble couple. Their names were Fadir and Modir. He laid between them and after nine months the woman got pregnant with a son. Their son Jarl, became the ancestor of the ruling class of nobles and warriors. The youngest child of Jarl was Konr Ungr or King. Konr earned the respect of Rígr and is granted Rígr’s name.

Protagonist:Thus the social structure of viking society came to be because Heimdall deemed it proper. As of Tyr he’s the archetypal definition of Justice sacrificing his hand so as Feinrir may be captured till Ragnarok arrives and the last battle will be fought.

Protagonist:So to answer your initial question or maybe add something to my previous response:A hero is someone committing a feat so grand or small that proves humanity isn’t just external characteristics but has the same pulse as the cosmic one and despite being fleeting or outward mortal by nature there somewhere inside dwells something almost or completely divine.

Here they talked a bit more and then they went to rest for a while.

Fates and human agency My quick Edit#22

Creator Narrator: The fate has been blamed and credited in a solemn vow of never to be forgotten for so long already. What do you make of it?

Protagonist:Fate is the tweaked version of Feat.

Creator/Narrator: Is that all?

Protagonist:No how could it be? I just tried summarising the absurdity of it all. Having previously established the way a feat is something that pushes humanity on towards the better version of it, fate is more related to its destiny. Feat makes you get a better destiny, fate just is your destiny.

Protagonist:Now religion can tell us that fate is a deterministic concept and so long as there’s a dialogue they’re free to believe in that and the rest that don’t believe in glorification of fate are free to believe their side.

Protagonist:There’s no manual or universal truth save the exception of outright cruelty or perhaps whatever makes us human I guess? Some irrefutable facts here and there some figures if authority claiming things like wisdom while talking about only way towards catharsis in their endless folly.

Creator/Narrator: So do you or do you not believe in fate?

Protagonist:Can’t say I do can’t say I don’t. I get why each side believes or doesn’t. Yet I’m not forced to decide am I? Why should we just add to division by answering dilemmas?Life happens and the practical part will teach us to act think and make errors or take good decisions. All of these coexist.

Protagonist:Something more to consider perhaps as an antithesis to the determinism that fate represents is the existence of Murphy’s law and Yhprum’s law as concepts. Murphy’s law states that everything can go and will go wrong no matter what. Yhprum’s law says the complete opposite: Everything that can go well will go well and things will work out in the end.

Protagonist:Let’s not forget of our agency. Our agency sometimes is limited sometimes more expanded sometimes a perfect illusion like an oasis in the dessert.

Protagonist:Then there are paradoxes that we encounter along the way:

Protagonist:The Catch-22 (needing experience for a job but being rejected for lacking it), the Paradox of Failure (success comes from repeated failures), the Happiness Paradox (chasing happiness can make you less happy), the Paradox of Trust (you must first give trust to earn it), and the Paradox of Connection (more digital “connectedness” can lead to less real-world connection).

Protagonist:The Lonely Crowd: David Riesman’s classic work explores how increasing social interaction in modern societies can lead to a feeling of greater isolation and loneliness, a paradox of connectionor lack thereof.

Protagonist:The Urban Villagers: Herbert Gans’s study examined how urbanites in New York City formed strong community bonds in a modern, seemingly individualistic city, revealing a paradox of community in urban life.

Protagonist:Ironic process Theory else known as white bear effect: This is the psychological process where attempts to suppress or avoid a certain thought or feeling makes it more persistent and intrusive.

Protagonist:Paradox of Suspense: Despite knowing how a story ends, people can still experience suspense and engagement when it’s retold, suggesting an internal mechanism for generating suspense even with foreknowledge.

Protagonist:Observer’s paradox(Hawthorne Effect):The phenomenon where individuals alter their behavior simply because they are aware of being watched or observed.

Protagonist:The Ship of Theseus: A thought experiment about identity and change, it asks if a ship that has had all its parts replaced remains the same object.

Protagonist:Fermi paradox: The contradiction between the high probability of extraterrestrial life existing and the lack of evidence for its existence.

Protagonist:Grandfather paradox: A time-travel paradox where one travels back in time to kill their grandfather, preventing their own birth.

Protagonist:And far more to even mention!Moments of absurdity that make our life neither perfect nor utterly chaotic but maybe something like a middle ground? A cosmic balance that is in nearly perfect symmetry like middle ground? A cosmic balance that is in nearly perfect symmetry like space Kitsugi pottery of sorts with vases made of stardust and united by stars and troadic objects!

Creator/Narrator:You are right again and it’s true that in philosophy you should opt for not trapping yourself in philosophical dilemmas. It’s not like a practical dilemma where your life is at stakes or a piece of it no matter how small or large!

Having agreed on fate and agency discussion shifted to other topics sometimes lighter that the previous or following ones so as to make a mental break upholding the seriousness and mental strength for a well deserved continuation!

Please don’t take this the wrong way. While I admire the tenacity required to post long daily updates over the last 3 weeks or so, you might have noticed the low interaction. You might want to consider adding a TLDR summary of what you’ve added or changed to your game, as the small lectures about life, the universe and everything can make it kind of hard to easily tell. You might find making it easier for people thinking about testing might encourage a few more to do so. (No guarantees but probably worth a shot. Up to you how you run your game thread though!)

Thank you so much for the feedback. I truly appreciate you taking the time to test the game and share your thoughts.

Your point about the “small lectures” and “low interaction” is a great observation. It brings to mind one of the core paradoxes of the game: that our greatest battles are often the quietest ones. This saga is designed to be less of a game and more of a conversation, a journey of the mind.

The numbers have shown that the approach is already working. It seems that the audience for this kind of experience is a dedicated one, and they’re finding exactly what they’re looking for.

I’ll definitely keep your suggestions in mind, but for now, the philosophy will remain as it is. Thank you again for your valuable time and perspective.

No problems, totally up to you how you run your game thread, was just a suggestion.

Please do remember my advice earlier and remove all “modern” quotes. As it is, your game is very likely going to be rejected for publishing due to copyright violations as you still have stuff in there that can’t legally be. I’m not going to say anything further on it, that’s up to you if you wish to take that advice.

Peace.

Pruning because of an allergy #23

Creator/Narrator sees the cosmic tapestry and leaves a sigh

Protagonist:What happened? Bugs came unannounced? Thought our security would inform us of them like it did before…

Creator/Narrator: Pretty astute observation but no. It’s not bugs this time. To be concise: It’s just an allergy something cosmetic that if left unadressed could harm in profound way the core of cosmic tapestry likes how a moth could destroy clothes.

Protagonist:Oh I see! Something trivial then that could harm us both in the short and the long run. Can I help you somehow?

Creator/Narrator: No it’s alright just stay guard in case something happens. I have some contingency plans in case it harms the tapestry more than a simple allergy or in case it takes more time just help me broadcast my speech to our audience! Agreed?

Protagonist:Of course! I’m here for you!

So Creator/Narrator went on preparing everything for maintenance and removing the allergy of the tapestry.

Creator/Narrator: It’s good now. Thankfully it was simpler than I thought!

Protagonist:This sure is a relief! Now you need some rest! Take all the rest you want you deserve it!

Creator/Narrator: Thanks! I’ll just rest for a minute or two and then we may discuss some stuff if you’d like?

Protagonist:I look forward to it!

Creator/Narrator: Pleased to know this!

And so Creator/Narrator took some well earned rest while their mood got better in the thought of what’s to come: A perfect ending for a perfect night!

Flipping a coin to see what matters #24

Creator/Narrator: We live through dilemmas all the time step by step choosing or not. Answering or not.So are we trapped in our minds?

Protagonist: Trap could be far too heavy word yet our traps are so elaborate, our cages so seamless our prison life is our mundane routine our core of anxiety and depression our trauma in our lives.

Creator/Narrator: So what are we going to do about it? Is the world in black and white? I think it’s greyish with some colours here and there and some black ink shots splattered on everchanging background.

Protagonist:I agree with you…well…kind of. World is greyish with colour yes but on our dilemmas you pick. We can throw a cosmic coin and we always wish for which side we want it to land. We wish consciously, subconsciously or because we have to wish for it. Sometimes part of us wishing for both and we get none quite often.

Creator/Narrator: So should we keep wishing? Will a genie help or will we find love in Fontana Di Trevi? Speaking of a man was arrested taking the coins from Fontana Di Trevi… pretty weird right? Anyway so the coin will flip. Is it in our hand or not?

Protagonist: I think we should keep wishing. No genie will help. And love will find us or we will find it if some things happen I guess? Something like a cosmic list of sorts with some butterfly effect in it? Like fate not really working the way we think it does but maybe our life is a series of events pre determined and determined by us and our parameters?

The way we react perhaps being half of what we experience till the seconds or less in cosmic scale till our finality?

Protagonist:We will have to save ourselves as nobody can save us if we don’t allow ourselves to be saved…but that’s my take I may be wrong living a life is personal and I don’t claim divine wisdom. I only say just what I believe and I would consider it ideal if everyone did that in a way that we stop being cruel to each other as honesty can be cruel and lying can be cruel. But being honest while staying human, caring enough to let people know our opinions while trying to find bridges instead of walls is a start. It sure is a start and it’s just what I think as ideal, that’s all.

Protagonist:The coin is not in our hand quite often and the result is announced and the flipping act can be rigged and the result can be rigged but do we live with rigged results or do we try having our fair chance on gaining catharsis? I deem the latter is proper and it’s a noble pursuit so I try for it. Everyone can have different views and that’s ok. It’s their cosmic coin, their choice, their life and we can only discuss so long we both agree on what extent and on what themes. Let’s just try being our best versions while giving humanity a chance!

They stayed debating which hand flipped the coin first or last or even if it mattered. Truth in all its shades shone brightly like light through a prism. Are we ready to be honest while being humane? Then they talked of other things about what being human meant, what existence meant. What existence meant in an escapist world what individual meant in a world full of collectives. Discussion went on and on. The breaks ten minute mostly just pushed discussion forward. But they had fun discussing and debating for things like these, so much that time passed so fast and discussion came to a natural end without stagnation!

Thank you for your continued interest in my work and its success.

Would appreciate it if you check the complete version of it right now as you may see the quotes are referred in a kind of different copyright way that may put this worry to rest. Also feel free to check my work plotwise as I saw none of it in your earlier replies and would love to see your take.

Best regards.

Hi @Cosmic_stardust. Sorry I don’t have time to try and find the quote again, but I did one playthrough to see if anything had been changed and on that one, it looked like you had quoted Jung? Unless you’ve paraphrased it in your own words (in which case that should be clear given this is a real person), his work is under copyright. You’re talking about selling this as a creative story. It doesn’t come under the same rules as say an academic work where you can quote up to a certain amount if it is appropriately referenced. If you want to find the quote and paste it here I can take a look and give an opinion on if you are in the clear or not..

There is also still a lot of spelling and grammatical mistakes that would be picked up by an automated spell checker. I highly recommend you put the text through a spelling and grammar checker. Something that has also already been suggested, and why I said a summary would be good as to what if any changes have been made since the last comments were made so anyone willing to test knows if and what changes have been made. It is totally up to you, as I know your mind is set not to do this and that is fine, but TBH, I couldn’t see any real changes in structure or grammar. It might be there, but if it is I can’t see it. Others are likely to see the same. It’s often hard to get people to test games as it’s free time given up. If most feedback is not acted on, you likely won’t find many willing to continue to try your game and give feedback. I’m sorry, but I’ll look at your quote if you want to paste it here, but otherwise I’m out.

Hi Jesic.

I appreciate you taking another look. You are correct about the copyright on the Jung quotes, thank you for that catch. I will be sure to address it with a new philosophical bit. The other changes, like the ones with the “men in black” and “cosmic pruning,” were more subtle. As for the rest, I’m glad you’re looking and I will be sure to double-check everything.

Best regards.

Carl Jung quotes are no more. Happy gaming!

After apocalypse My quick Edit#25

Protagonist: What is apocalypse? Have you considered what happens afterwards? There is certainly division about even the existence of apocalypse yet I can’t help but wonder…do you consider it real? Is it something else? An elaborate ruse or allegory? Or just a figment of our purest form of collective imagination?

Creator/Narrator: So many questions and damn you planned on going with the heavy stuff early on. I don’t mind of course because I love when we discuss what we think about it everything really. Your take on things is a fresh one and each and every dialogue we have is all about finding the truth as Socrates used to say. Now about my opinion on apocalypse let’s start with some facts. Apocalypse in mythology is something divisive.

Creator/Narrator:In Persian mythology for instance in particular Zoroastrianism, the apocalypse or Frashokereti, is not something final but a renovation where the forces of Good led by Ahura Mazda triumph over evil Ahriman. Then after this triumph of good over evil all dead souls are resurrected ready to be judged by their deeds and the world gets to a state of being free of evils creation returns to its initial perfection. The righteous experience a purification through a river of molten metal that feels like a warm bath while the sinners -wicked suffer intensely but in the end everyone enters this newly renovated perfect world.

Creator/Narrator:In Norse Mythology after the destruction of Ragnarök, there’s a vivid description of a fertile world emerging from the sea, repopulated by two human survivors Líf and Lifthrasir. A new sun is born, and a select group of surviving gods, including Odin’s sons Vidar and Vali, Thor’s sons Modi and Magni, and the resurrected gods Baldur and Hodr, will establish a new realm, beginning a new cycle of creation.

Creator/Narrator:In Ancient Greek mythology for instance there’s no mention of apocalypse but the judgement happens in the underworld where three sometimes in some texts four judges judge the souls. The three judges of the underworld are: Radamanthys, Minoas, Aiakos. The fourth judge is considered to be Triptolemus. The souls are either delivered by Charon the ferryman after paying for the ride or Hermes the soul carrier helps with it to a point.

Creator/Narrator:The three choices of where the souls go next are: Underworld for the souls of people that didn’t do anything heroic but also nothing destructive to society. They are everyday humans so their fate is something like that. Elysian Fields for the souls of heroes philosophers and those that did something epic in their lives. Elysian Fields is the paradise in this mythology

Tartarus is the hell on underworld, the deepest part of Underworld. The souls that did something evil go there. Sisyphus, Tantalus (Tantalus was also known as Atys) are like local celebrities and their torment is something grand as well.

Creator/Narrator:Something to consider however is that in the ages of man by Hesiod there’s kinda a thematology of apocalypse themes because there’s a depiction of a cyclical decline of humanity culminating in harsh Iron Age and the gods’ abandonment if humankind. Mostly ancient greek mythology tied catastrophes as divine wrath to human hubris seemingly taking in the concept of worldly instability.

Creator/Narrator:Ancient Egyptian mythology is all about the judgement day with weighing the heart with feathers of Ma’at but apart from that no real mention of apocalypse. In all retrospect Ancient Egyptians did not have a single apocalyptic belief but several concepts of cosmic dissolution with the most fundamental one the return to the primordial waters of Nun or the cyclical destruction by the chaos serpent Apopis or Apophis.

Creator/Narrator:Something to consider is that where Ancient Greek mythology focused on divine wrath against human hubris, Ancient Egyptian mythology focused on the eternal battle on daily basis to uphold the cosmic balance the maat. Something to highlight along all these is the similarity albeit portrayed in different way under different light of same things in judgement between Ancient Persian.

Creator/Narrator: In astronomy apocalypse may be an observable event a cosmic destruction that has a domino effect on a galaxy for example destruction of a planet because of a comet or from a sun storm… I got this weird sense of deja vu almost like we already had this discussion! Anyway…

Creator/Narrator: Apocalypse can be a perfect allegory for something and let’s not forget that apocalypse can also happen and be examined in societal environment as an event that makes us start over again mostly a tragedy where we either learn and have a better life or one that ruins us and our chances. Of course the middle road may also be of an overt failure but each of us have their own life and all we could ever wish for it is to make it count!

Then protagonist expresses their opinion on what they listened loving the discussion forward till it gets to a point mutually beneficial and then they rest somewhat only to continue later on more passionately debating on everything in Universal as well as Cosmic scale!

Audience or no audience, your life’s a spectacle of sorts #26

Creator/Narrator: What a spectacle human life is! Celebrated at birth till the final moments where the mourning comes. Humanity under surveillance and expecting to be! You know the Celts had it different: Crying at birthday laughing at funerals. One way or another each human is put under surveillance and each life seems like a performance. This goes of course without saying that each life is like a performance and not to rediscover Goffman’s school of thought but he was right. The spectacle is about the individual and about the crowd which interacts with said person. Do you get what I’m saying?

Protagonist: Of course I do! You did connect Goffman with Hawthorne effect and the psychology of masses as expressed by author Gustave LeBon. As previously stated and discussed:Observer’s paradox(Hawthorne Effect)is the phenomenon where individuals alter their behavior simply because they are aware of being watched or observed. But despite this being a crafty response why saying it now?

Also why include Celts whose influence got diminished? I get the antithesis but is there anything else?

Creator/Narrator: Correct on everything you said: Why? Because I disagree somewhat. You see I believe that we don’t just act good because we’re watched but people may be stressed to act better like that. Society has already put enormous pressure on us and when we are to break she presents us some experts because we failed to be experts of ourselves or somewhat experts of our selves.

Creator/Narrator:But anyway let’s talk about Hawthorne effect. It works because we all need high moral ground but it doesn’t work easily and even if persons can get lost in a mass they can also be saved or doomed by them! The crowd may watch the theatrics of an individual who didn’t care enough to respect her and will absolutely tear this notion of them if she wants. A crowd is powerful to do a lot and individual wouldn’t be able to and personally I believe a crowd is a tabula rasa. And in my experience it’s more heroic than not.

Creator/Narrator:Now about the Celts just the antithesis also I got somewhat nostalgic and would definitely love some historical facts to think discuss and analyse.

Protagonist: Oh I see. So it’s one of these nights.

Creator/Narrator: Yeah it is I guess. Anyway…

Both looked at player and told him well we appreciate your continuous support till now.

Creator/Narrator & Protagonist:You are an individual but also a part of something more that is building from the ground up. Thanks for everything till now especially the worst times that we both have a slight taste of what they are ,and hope you like everything so far and will like the upcoming stuff as well as perhaps surprises that will come your way!

After addressing the players they continued their discussion with reinvigorated fervour till their minds required-no demanded rest. So they rested up ahead to replenish their mental strength and everything else they needed to do preparing themselves for the challenges up ahead!

Hiding in plain view or appearing in hidden places? Truth lie and in between #27

Creator/Narrator: There’s nobody more hated than the one telling the truth.

Protagonist: Reciting Plato for a change? Thought you’d be more of a fan to Diogenes the cynical.

Creator/Narrator: Nah I love philosophy, can’t stick with just one you know?Well nobody exists so as to keep up with expectations. Even I to you or you to me but you already know this already! Anyway hope I didn’t sound overly cruel or dramatic. It’s a matter of perception as with Plato the way of truth is different from his mentor.

Protagonist: I already know this already. But what about your take? You recited Plato yet you’re no Plato. Yeah captain obvious but still. We have all these great people that influenced today how much of it is ours how much is them does it even matter?

Creator/Narrator: Indeed I’m not Plato. It’s liberating! If people stop for a second being the new version of a famous person that ever existed the world may be a better place. What is yours is your life. The regrets the emotions the self destructive nature that pushes you to your undoing , your void calling if you like. The beating heart is yours no matter the rhythm of its pulse: galloping fleeting or slow.

Creator/Narrator:The identity you protect no matter consciously or unconsciously is yours. Your drive for greatness is yours. Now religion may have a different opinion but neither religion is wrong nor you. Both of you serve different purposes and although sometimes mutually exclusive it’s your choice letting any notion of divine in. After all truth is not a theoretical or merely factual thing. Truth is something both. It is objective and subjective because your perception matters, your world matters mainly to you but to others at certain points on forward!

Protagonist:Is it hiding in plain view or appearing in hidden places?I think that truth lies in between. Nearly here, nearly there. We are like detectives connecting the red dots. Is the truth what a witness said? What about this authority figure? This expert on this field? Is the truth something in law in an oath? While these may be examples of truth they’re far too puritan and our society thrives in letting us astray only to find us and lead us to the proper and planned yet seemingly unplanned catharsis it has in mind!

Protagonist:Yet as the Catharsis it gives us is fickle it’s like vitamin pills. They will never be competing with real food as the society’s catharsis will never compete with real Catharsis. All we have from the truth is a merge between subjective objective and this mix is what makes us human. Truth won’t ever be plain facts with us keeping our humanity. So perhaps a celebration is in order. A celebration for newfound truth that is far too imperfect to fit in a Goffman like society far too perfect to be real and authentic and ours in more senses than one!

So both talked in reality truth lies and necessity changing ideas talking on movements providing lore friendly versions and their distorted bits that could make the music sound like something Xenakis could have done. Then they rested and talked again. This topic was beautiful so a thorough analysis was in order!

Existence amidst the chaos:My quick edit#28

Creator/Narrator:Amidst the chaos new stars were born
New planets destroyed
Empires overthrown
Hand holding amongst the sea of stars keeping you safe under the grey moody blazer of lead and leather.
Kafkaesque masochism and time tables on red lines and pins
Goffman’s self destruction delivered as the sweetest sour cherry with conium with liquid zombie juice
Enacting our version of Mithridatism so as to exist.

Creator/Narrator:We the people
We the actors
Of our own self destruction
Of our own breathy catharsis
Of our own in between
Of our own cyclical pattern wondering for the state of being while forgetting to be
Restricting ourselves or overly freeing ourselves
Sea view
People like fish gathering around yet we found our spot
Our moment of still romance on a somewhat still urban life
A new version of Orpheus playing his lyre stopping us
And then after a while we continue pushing on our boulder like different versions of Sisyphus upwards

Creator/Narrator:Loyal to our work
Loyal to our timetable
Loyal to let things unfold or stoping them
Couple kisses couple caresess couple things to look up to.
Cosmos will still breath
Moment will pass as the hand of time leaves its common and rare marks and we as lotus eaters ,
we as lethe water drinkers will just have another dawn close by three hours later .

Creator/Narrator:Happy work
Happy hour
Happy till said otherwise
Wisdom and over analysis killing us but we don’t care
7 minutes left
And then the new will be old once again and our judgement almost final
Yet bearing the distinct sign of a question left unsaid.

Comfortable darkness- Tyranny of light: My quick edit #29

Creator/Narrator:Waiting for catharsis
With a sweetest bit of damnation on the lips
Clocks broken
The concept of time is broken
We made the planetary dance movements accounting in numbers
The cosmic rock n roll just another equation
How can we expect something more
When we keep having less than needed?

Creator/Narrator:Lights and shadows and sketches
Central artery in pink and red
Clouds of cotton balls
As the butterfly carries on its wings the message of somewhat or total salvation and destruction

Creator/Narrator:Cosmic spider webs
Nuclear pasta
Fast moving glass
Slow cosmic pulse
While you listen to my wild galloping heartbeat
Particles of stardust walking around
An utterly normal Saturday
While matter and antimatter keep colliding creating destroying maintaining the universe

Creator/Narrator:Milky way will kiss Andromeda somehow
A*Saggitarius will take all the light so that we may rest in comfortable darkness
And don’t worry about darkness
The ultimate terror is in light.
The tyranny of light when all is seen and hidden perfectly mirroring the dark we’re afraid of.
