I’m currently working on a super hero story myself. I do not have a working title, but I have quite a bit of the plot already worked out. In fact its based off an original super hero story I’ve had kicking around in my head for a few years now and have finally found a creative outlet to force me to write it out. Its not a pretty story though, it deals with a lot of negative emotions surrounding the main character.
Kind of like HeroRise (the only CoG hero game i’ve played yet), it focus’s heavily on the bastardization and corruption of the hero system in a modern age. Compromises have been made to support hero’s and their work, it has become both a political subject and a popularity contest. It says something about the setting when the city’s most celebrated and respected hero is known mostly for killing a certain foe.
In any case I’ll make a WIP thread later when I find a title and feel i have more to offer then a simple blurb.

@Dark_Stalker The characters motivation is to become a hero, a ‘real’ hero. But with how corrupt the system is… being a hero might mean becoming a villain. They will be faced with the choice to try and make the system work, or throw it all away and become a villain. Their ideals of course will bend and possibly break. As for power choice they have a pre defined super power, but i plan to make a subset of none super skills which the player can pick between to define their character a bit better. Sadly because of the overall story their super power has to be what it is… and i wont spoil it here!
@HornHeadFan Well they are certainly that, and a happy outlook for them will not be near at hand! But by the end the struggle will be worth it… no matter the choices they make along the way. Also, i may need to check out College Hero if its another super hero CoG.
