Yeah sorry to make things more clear for everybody the ROs will be the youngest member of the hero team (I still haven’t found the right name for), the leader of the villain team (I really need to find a name for these teams), your best friend (who if you become a hero they’re become a hero same if you become a villain) and a fangirl/boy (you can romance this one no matter if you’re a superhero or villain)
I was thinking of making everyone on both teams as ROs but since I’m new to this I decided to take it slow and only have four
I don’t know enough about the heroes/villians to give an example name for each group, but if you don’t have a list of available powers, I have an idea for one if you like
This seems interesting. If I could offer any advice at all it would be to be careful with the list of powers the MC can choose from. Too many and you will have to make it so that they do nothing but provide flavor text. Otherwise you will risk burning yourself out writing unique scenarios and choices for each and every power.
I can’t speak for the others, but I would always prefer 3 unique and well implemented powers to choose from as opposed to a slew of powers that might as well be literary reskins of one another.
If you are wondering what I mean by the reskins part, just take a look at how similar the elements in Fatehaven ended up being.
Yes, a couple days ago to help perfect my coding abilities, I attempted to make a game (one that I wasn’t really planning on going anywhere, which it didn’t, but with my diversity of powers, I discovered that it was easier to just easier to make separate games for each power under one file. I didn’t get to far and I was working on my Castaway game at the same time anyway
