Sordwin by Thom Baylay

Thank you everyone and I’m very honoured @kofultory to be your first post. Welcome to the community!

@lynossa If memory serves, it’s only possible with a Lamuel/Leah playthrough. Try going to the front of the ship and re-enacting a certain scene from a certain movie… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Also, just because i wanted to share this because it’s amazing - check out this awesome artwork for Captain Winter from Twitter’s @Medukoru

If anyone else has any artwork (be it a picture, fiction or anything else creative) please do share it with me! I love to see all the ways that people interpret and build on the Saga

Just finished playing this and I really enjoyed it! I really loved the character and relationship progression we get to experience from L and D. Same could be said about the new characters, like I just love how each of them all have their distinctive characteristics which make them stand out and shine. AND ALSO the fact that we expressed our interest for Gunther and insinuating them becoming a LI next book has me LIVING! Alas, the storyline was really good and entertaining again, definitely top favorite series on my list. Can’t wait for the next book!

I love that artwork of Winter! They’re the most chaotic evil RO I’ve ever seen in a CoG, but so entertaining. It’s like…

The narrative, in tones of increasing despair: Winter is a really terrible person. You know Winter is a really terrible person, right? You are a fool, a daredevil, and this cannot possibly end well. Every minute spent in Winter’s company shortens your lifespan by a year. You are-

My awful MC, throwing off his clothes every time the Captain orders him to: I MIGHT DIE YOUNG BUT I WON’T DIE BORED

I don’t think Winter is chaotic evil I thought of them as Neutral evil because they were about doing whatever and working with anyone who can help accomplish their goals. They were or are all about doing what’s best for them without limiting themselves to either lawful or chaotic.

I asked this on Twitter but I’ll put it here too

I’m planning the various romance paths for Book 3 of the EvertreeSaga and I’m wondering who’s the most popular RO right now. Let me know where your :hearts: lies!

  • Lamuel/Leah Dupree
  • Dandy/Daisy Thorne
  • Gunther Ga’arl
  • Orion/Oriana
  • Ruby Redburg
  • Hayden Winter
  • No-one. I’m waiting for a new RO in Book 3.

Speaking just for myself, my super cute, fashionable and all around awesome, magical half-elf boy Dandy of course.

What is Winter’s goal anyway? I was especially confused when they wants the box purely to test our reaction, I mean he knows it’s empty and it’s not in his job description to take the box, that’s pretty chaotic in my book.

Poor Ruby has the last place so far… Tbh I didn’t try her romance route yet (reading it now, but I’m still just at chapter 2), but I like her as character so I voted for her and Daisy… And Oriana. It’s such a hard choice!

Haven’t tried Ruby’s romance route yet but i really like her character, she’s so cheerful yet mysterious i might try her route next time

Also Gunther ranking higher than Winter made me go YAAAASSSSSS my fellow half-orc f*ckers where u at

Rises hand

At first I was thinking, should I vote for him, when we haven’t had any romance yet? Then my half-orc fucker instincts took the best of me and voted for him anyway lol.

For me it’s a tie b/w Daisy and Oriana like their characters are so complex and adding that to a romance makes me love them even more!

Furiously presses the Lamuel/Leah option

I haven’t seen them get mentioned a lot here, but seeing that they have about 30% of the votes makes me a bit happier.

I like them because they’re genuinely nice, easy to get along with, pure and a hard worker. They also are quite brave judging from book 2 (and in my opinion) I hope they will develop more in book 3!

Wow Orion/Oriana is in second place. For a character that was introduced in book 2, this is interesting (and shows how good the writing in book 2) and probably shows that we all are a little bit masochist

So if my character was ace in book 1 can she still start a romance in book 2 (or 3)? Or do I have to restart book 1?

There are three new ROs introduced in book 2 so you can romance them without having to play from Evertree Inn.

What I have in mind is my character starting off as ace (okay, maybe this isn’t the right way to say it, she just didn’t feel motivated yet), but when she meets the right person she would still choose to try it with them. I wonder if I play it like that?

If you do play like that you’ll miss out on the characters from book 1, but you’ll still have the opportunity for the characters in the second book

I have different MCs to romance each RO, except Gunther (sorry dude). So I have that covered.

In one of my playthroughs my MC didn’t romance anyone in book 1 and choose to be investigator buddy with Gunther. When I continue with that in book 2, that MC can romance Winter or Orion. Actually you can romance new RO as well even if you have romanced RO in book 1.
