Could you put a demons soul into a human
Could you steal your fathers soul
@Kaden Yes you would. I hope to add these options so that some dialogue with mortals is available even after you take their souls.
@Shoelip Technically speaking, you should be able to restore the souls. A soul would still be connected with its body, therefore would seek out its original mortal form. But if you were to corrupt a soul and then release it, then you are giving a demon a human home. I do like the idea of forcing a demon soul into a mortal vessel too, so I’ll see about that one.
@Shawnheatherly When the soul is placed in your collection, you have to remember that this person’s conscience has been taken. They opened their soul up to you, and so in your collection, it would be like they were living a dream. You will still be able to interact with them as you normally would, but they wouldn’t instantly realise: ‘Oh my soul has been taken, so I must be in a coma.’
A complication would arise however. The reason a demon decides not to consume too many souls is because of what these consciences see whilst the demon lives. Like I said, it is a dream to them. AT any time, you can jump into your own reality and manipulate the dream around them, mess with them or give them their own little paradise inside your head. When you are not inside this collection, their ‘dream’ will become what you are experiencing. Of course, like someone in a never ending nightmare, if they are witnessing some truly horrifying events that you are making, then they are going to try anything to escape. The more souls you capture and keep contained, the more likely they are going to want to leave. This, like having a bond with a stronger demon, could lead to strong influences inside your head. After all, its all in the mind.
And no donations, I would much rather people keep on sending me ideas to keep me encouraged! My school work eats a lot of my time so progress may be slow at first I’m afraid!
I hope that cleared up a few things?
@Kaden to answer your most recent posts, which didn’t show up whilst I was replying, yes you can put a demon soul into a human vessel if you tried. And to take your fathers soul would be very hard…but I see no reason why it should be impossible…
So what effect will reputation have on you?
So if you make their dreams as orgasmically (figuratively or literally) happy as possible it could end up actually making it easier to contain more souls?
So if you take a demons soul do you take the human souls they’ve collected
@Verand There will be many other demons out for the same thing you will originally hunt for: Your father’s respect. Reputation will build upon what other demons think of you, as well as some of the stories that the mortals will spread about you. Who knows, maybe your reputation in the Human Realm will gain you some worshippers?
@Shoelip Yes it would. Not many people would probably try and escape a blissful paradise, but it would mean you would have to try and be friendly to everyone you meet. Some may believe that takes the laughter out of slaughter, but it is there as a choice nonetheless. Control is everything.
@Kaden Honestly I haven’t thought about that. It would be easy to implement I suppose. You would then have to think about how these other souls would react upon remaining in your collection. You might find that if the demon starts becoming too overwhelming for you, he could reach out to the souls he had nurtured that are now in your collection and expose them to your evil plans. You may find yourself having to sacrifice your collection to your father in order to stop them reaching out.
Will I be allowed to feel bad about taking someone’s soul? Or like choose not to take it when they smile?
So will you encounter villainous mortals as well, or are your potential victims/friends limited to innocents??
So if mortals start worshiping you do you grow in in some way maybe like slave sacrifice do you get the soul and get more powerful
Love is stronger than hate! If my victims/friends/minions love me I’ll be all the more unstoppable. I would rather be fanatically adored than feared.
It would have to depend for me
@RedRoses yes the choice is there to leave their souls where they belong. If you do take them and feel guilty, you could always seek out a way of releasing them back into their bodies.
@Shoelip Not just innocent beings, but also others yes. You may find criminals and power hungry mortals to have already corrupt souls. This will in turn, make them easier to obtain, as I’m sure they would make a pact with a demon for fame and fortune, but as they are not pure their souls will be on their way to becoming practically demonic souls themselves. Having them in your collection may pose a threat if they manage to corrupt you from the inside or even become a demon in your mind.
And yes that is true! Fear can only last so long but devotion longer.
@Kaden Yes that is also another possibility I haven’t thought of! If they forcefully give souls unto you, then there is no reason why you shouldn’t be allowed to snatch them up and reap the benefits!
Will there be angel like creature that are the purist of souls and are relly hard to take but if you do it makes every one inside your relly happy if of coarse there happy but they can uncorup a soul. With the slaves they have no bodies to go back to how could you release them
Can you capture gods soul
Hm, so maybe it’d be more prudent to leave the corrupt with their souls and just manipulate them while their soul is still attached. I imagine it’d be a bit easier to manipulate already naughty folk to do your demonic bidding.
I like that idea…
As an answer to the angel and god question, this wip will center around a belief of my own that will drive the story later on. Until its polished and playable, I think I’ll give the answer: Samviska. Work it out if you wish XD
Thank you for answering my question.
- If it is possible to feel guilty about taking a soul, does that mean there will be choices that lead to a genuine friendship forming between you and a mortal?
- Can you bond with other demons, to have allies who might save you in a time of need? I would assume yes, given it will probably be easier to consume a demon if they trust you. For that matter, can you mentor a demon? I’m imagining a relationship like Mephisto and Amaimon from Blue Exorcist.
