when your fighing superhorns use your style, for high flying use the support cables, for technical shake the scaffolding, dont know what to use when your a powerhouse
At lobo, I am trying to get to the part where you fight Superhorns alone, and not trying to fight him and Prototype at the same time.
@ Matty where you are teamed up with Solitary, JJ, and the traitorous superhorns.
You either need some promo skill (to get Super Horns to blow off Prototype), or you need to cover JJ’s ass.
@MSox99 - I dug up some suggestions for the Scaffold match that I posted a while back:
In the scaffolds match, there are a lot of variables, and they’re not as immediately obvious as in other matches: for instance, if you decide to fight it out while hanging from the rungs of the scaffold, technique is immaterial, as what matters is strength (to maintain your grip) as well as your choice of style (a striking or holds style wins the day, but a style focused on lifts or high flying is useless on the rungs).
The part where SH looks like he’s going for a punch to your midsection – again, there’s a trick option if you have high tech: you’re allowed the choice to block and counter, but since it’s really a fake, that leads to a defeat regardless of your tech stat. There are other instant-defeats as well, regardless of your stats – for instance, if you make a break for the belt before finishing off SH.
The finisher that high technique does enable in the Scaffolds match is the [#Use the cable to help evade the next attack] option, and all you require to succeed in that is a tech of 65+.
The thing with the scaffolds match though, which I did in order to make it easier, is that your choice of style can help compensate for a deficiency in a base stat. For instance, you may not have noticed it, but a high tech allows you to keep your balance more often than not in the Scaffolds fight – but if you have a high flying style, that acts the same as having a high technique. So the best “build”, so to speak, for the Scaffolds fight is a high strength wrestler with a high-flying style.
Yeah I guessed on that too. I had a strength of 81 and the high flying style. I made it to the RoV and beat Solitary. There’s one thing and it is which leg to go for. When Super Horns tells you about his ST, he never mentions which leg is the injured one. I had to guess and I guessed correctly but it would have sucked if I had finally made it to the Ring of Valhalla and lost.
This will be my first commenting here. And to one of my top favorites. I really don’t like wrestling but after the demo, I had to get this. I loved the whole story. I had to ignore few him/her/he/she mistakes that were in various spots. Very, very minor distraction for me. The one I do find little off is when Big Horns is a female and Prototype comes off about fighting the man. Possibly big horns should be a male? Or was it Solitary. Will take another look but in storyline didnt seem should been a female.
Now to make mention of what I read and how I felt. My first play through as female antagonist, got to end. I looked at the fight as going against Prototype. Him being so sexist set that off as well as the fact he might of seemed to been better at wrestling than JJ. Since JJ failed to defeat him when he was such a woose when I fought him. But I just went back through to see JJs romance and chose to do closure this time. Finding out she was tied made me think. Prototype might not of been tougher or smarter than JJ and suggestions of why JJ did what she did. I find maybe it was all a show, that its possible it was on purpose instead. To see if MC still cared about the fight with JJ or championship instead. Considering also choosing JJ proved she was able to knock him silly in one hit too. That’s my thought, her capture was an intentional shoot not cause he was stronger. Cause now my next play will be for JJ not Prototype as first time.
I love this one and its one of my top favorites. Awesome job, especially having nonwrestling fans loving this one. Im looking forward to your next one.
So, I just read SLAMMED! again. Although the story and writing are good, there are so many fake choices that it’s depressing.
I just beat Sagramore for the first time by convincing him to give a good match and then he decided to let me win after all! Though I don’t like the abundance of fake choices, SLAMMED! is certainly exciting and has pretty good replay ability nevertheless.

I replayed to do the JJ romance, and was going the heel route that time. I at first saw if Prototype took JJ, that it would of made sense to fight him instead as he beat her… but didn’t realize till later it might of been staged and went back through. Nope, wipe pretty much everyone off the mat. I haven’t gone with Solitary yet though. Not sure if its worth it as now that I saw JJ’s end. I kinda like it though the pop star is nice to be with, didn’t know could romance two at end together when I was going through it the first time. Not sure if I will or not.
So how do you get to the love triangle? I was able to romance evelynn but when I went out with Madison I wasn’t allowed to flirt with her?
@Natural20 It’s only available on one of the three paths you have to deal with JJ. You need to deal with JJ, as a face, but keep kayfabe, don’t bring your real history into things,
Okay, you won’t be able to flirt with her, but choose the options that allow you to be nice to her. If you have your relationship with Madison high enough, it looks like the choice to trigger the love triangle is when they both confront you and try to make you choose between them, on air is, “Oh, no. You’re not doing this to me.”

Hi, just subscribed here but i played this game a lot on android. This game is incredible, even if i’m not really into wrestling, and i will buy other games for sure. My problem is for some achievements that i can’t seem to unlock, no matter what I do:
Fight like a Woman: I thought beating Prototype would have unlocked it, but it didn’t
Best in the world: Again, I thought beating solitary would have unlocked it
The Animal: I always have the option greyed out
The Beast: I don’t know how to bring down ring awareness (this is what i need to do according to another thread)
Time Splitter: No clue about how to be friend with Griss here.

Random and I feel dumb but can someone tell me the strength and technique stats required for certain techniques like dropkicks and submission holds? I have no one to ask and feel dumb
There are different stats required depending on the situation (though I can’t recall one for dropkicks). If you name specific ones I should be able to help you.
Wow! this game is good,never thought I’llsee a fellow Filipino here @P_Chikiamco. As a child maybe 6-8 I’d watch wrestling in the morning at that age I’m clueless at what’s kayfabe and what’s a shoot so I was really entertained at those guys and girls beating up each other, my favorite was The Rock, Ray mysterio,John cena,Batista, and that rich cowboy country wrestler guy I forgot his name.
The games writing was perfection you dont even need to know a thing about wrestling to like this story . I’ll only suggest adding glossary of terms about wrestling,its moves etc. to help the ones that don’t know
I must admit I liked playing heel and messing with JJ specially with his dog haha I was laughing my heart out

I loved how you handled the topics concerning sexuality in wrestling like the openly gay solitary and that misogynist Prototype (I want to beat the life out of that guy when I played a female)
In terms of romance I loved Evan Ecstasy, I mean whats not to love about him,Evan relationship with his real father go beyond expectation,his father made him love wrestling, he competed in a reality wrestling competition because he wants to make his father proud even though it was hard for him being a popstar with no experience in wrestling. heck he even was the one who saved you at you’re lowest,he bonded with you stayed at your side. 
JJ was second for me,he’s love for wrestling was so intense that he even made you hate his entire existence just to get a perfect match which I think was sexy 
showing that he’s really passionate about his sport plus I loved playing heel and messing with this hunk of love.
Rio I haven’t romanced her.
Might I suggest a romance with Alex? like if you obey her every command and she falls inlove with you, instead of calling each other babe she’ll call you “MY TOOL” and inturn you’ll call her “MY USER” isn’t it sickeningly romantic.

Thanks so much for the kind words I think that I’m more or less done with Slammed! now except for typo/error related updates, though my future games will have some sort of glossary for sure (largely because they will be science fiction or fantasy though).

I have a question about high flying style which style should be my strength,the Average one,and my weakness?
is it high promo, average strength, low technique? Or something else?
Is it possible to defeat JJ with his own finisher Wolf Collar? that would be so awesome 
What should I do to get this achievements?

I think you should post an achievement guide in a separate thread to make it easier and avoid repetition of this kind of questions.
I’ve been playing this game so many times,a different wrestler, style and persona in each game, this never gets boring.
I sometimes think that I’m Griss and Slammed was the MC,and that this story relit my childhood love for wrestling.
