I think high flying actually requires a high technique, but it’s been a while, so I’m not positive.
For the Achievements, Loser Leaves Town is for losing against Frost in the final match for the gauntlet. The Animal requires a high Anger (a hidden stat - get mad a lot to raise it) in your fight against JJ. Not Michaels is for losing to JJ.
Has anyone figured out the stats or actions that lead to being able to pull off the handspring-backflip to the barrier after Blue Whale tosses you from the ring in your premiere as Cross/Sagramore III?
“Lands on her hands, flips onto the barricade, then jumps back to the ring apron.” And the following move when Alpha Omega joins in: “Pounces while Blue Whale is distracted, lifting her out of the ring.”
I’ve played at least a dozen times and still can’t figure this option out. Did the coding for it go wonky somewhere?
@Akurokuma
“Lands on her hands, flips onto the barricade, then jumps back to the ring apron.” You need to get high technical ability to use that move and also choose the high flying style,
“Pounces while Blue Whale is distracted, lifting her out of the ring.”
You need high strength then choose the big man style that focuses on lifts, to get that you need to work with another wrestler to distract Blue whale.
As someone who used to enjoy watching wrestling when I was younger, I thought this game was superbly written. Just a real joy to read. The only time I took a break was to use the restroom. Ruined my productivity for nearly an entire afternoon. Just glad that I have a better idea how long I need to set aside for the 2nd playthrough
In your match with Sagramore, how do you get the option to make it a real fight? I assume you have to have your Reality stat at a certain level, but try as I might, I can’t get it higher than 55% at that point in the game (by breaking kayfabe with the autograph seeker and not saying that Solitary winning all the time is boring).
OK, I now have maximum possible Reality and Ring Flash (65 each), I objected to the new plan, and I tried to attack him. Still not able to take the “turn the match into a fight” option.
I did it as a face, so you don’t need to be a heel.
@Craverguy there is a hidden status that measure how angry your character is, I think you need more agressive choices, like when you are talking with Sam.
Other examples are intimidating the guy that ask you an autograph (if you are a face), calling JJ a bastard after the accident and feeling angry after the tournament.
