No, you can be polyamorous with Beaumont and Trevelyan, Dominique in a V with Beaumont or Trevelyan, or Dominique and Javi in a more mutually romantic arrangement (at the moment it starts later and more casually than Beaumont/Trevelyan; I may tweak this).
I did think a lot about the possibility of Asher and polyamory, but in the end Asher didn’t feel like they really worked as a polyamorous character.

Just before Asher and Ibarra discover the journalist that is trying to sneak into the school. It might just be me, but there seems a period that just when the MC gets to spend some alone time with Asher (especially on the Asher romance route), Ibarra barges in wanting Asher to come along for “a thing”.
That said, my MC is likely to actually be disappointed Asher isn’t sneaking off for some fun. Because Asher deserves to have some fun every now and again.

Dominique and Javi can be romanced together by an MC with some light romance between the two of them, but it starts later than the Beaumont/Trevelyan/MC romance 
I need to take a look at how fiddly it is to trigger it though - you need to have expressed that you’re interested in both of them, and I’m not sure how much space there is currently to do that (due to the shape of the Javi romance)

No, most of the characters are new. Off the top of my head, existing characters who may appear are some of the teachers (depending on what happened in Crème), Crème MC sometimes, Lady Edith Belke, the Chancellor of Gessner, Inspector Burgin, Rosario, Hartmann sometimes, Karson sometimes.

Hmmm…I didn’t really notice any triggers…yet, but as you say it is supposed to start later. As for being able to indicate interest in both of them I think I was able to do that with my mc on student council. 
What I disliked the most from this update were the deletion of the personal stats for each character,
For example,Javi:Dutiful/Traditional or Asher:Bold/Diffident etc which honestly added a lot of customization on how you wanted to develop your relationship with say Javi or Dominique and their whole personal growth.
Here hoping erasing all of that sections is temporary and that are not cut out of the next betas.

As always amazed at the politicking of the series and I am as careful as ever to not push the Parliament to a Progressive stance, the romantic development between Beaumont and Trevelyan did shock me a bit as those two are complete opposites.
It was strange that Fabien said to my MC during his visit that the relationship between Zaledo and Westerlin worsened so much, when the stats on my playthrough reflect a good rapport between the two nations at 83 percent to be exact, perphaps the stat is Zaledo’s perspective of my MC? If not the whole thing is nonsensical.
So is that a common point for all routes or is it caused by other stat I have no idea of Hannah?

Ah that is useful feedback! The answer to that is that I don’t plan for it to be permanent removal, but I do need to revisit what shifts them and clarify how they change things (in my mind and for player experience). They had been causing some confusion previously in the state that they were and I didn’t want them to be too much of a distraction before I tweak things.
There are some hints in some interactions but they’re not seen on all routes. I’ll see if it feels right to foreshadow a bit more!
That’s something I need to revisit, thank you for raising that! I think that section just doesn’t reflect the secondary stats enough so I’ll look at rewriting to account for more possibilities that respond better. Fabien will still have comments but they’ll be more reflective of the world state and make more sense in the light of a high Westerlin/Zaledo relations stat!
