Psy High — Read minds, fight evil, and save the junior prom!

Interesting – I’d have said Fatehaven is an example of the “novel-on-rails” style of CoG where your choices barely made a cosmetic impact. Lots of people have already discussed that on the Fatehaven review thread (including in friendly reviews like this one), and perhaps if you want to talk more about why you felt it had even more meaningful character development than CoRobot, we could head over to that thread.

Personally, I think Psy High’s terrific, continuing this year’s string of excellent CoG output that started with Neighbourhood Necromancer (interrupted only by Yeti as a slight dip toward mediocrity – and even that had a core concept fun enough to keep me playing). Most of the recent CoG-label games have been impressively fun or ambitious, sometimes both.
