Pon Para and the Great Southern Labyrinth — War against dark gods to save reality!

That doesn’t sound likely, because you can’t have ANYONE with you when ahem ahem liberating the lacquer tablet.

Ok so, we know Nirein is a male nymph. Are there female satyrs?

But… I just now… liberated it together with Tamur.

Wait, you brought Tamur with you? How? We are talking about the last tablet for the Condors, right? The one in Princess Hyranni’s old room?

Yup. You need to tell Tamur about Condors, and then decide to play along with them for time being. With that Tamur will join you on last tablet’s heist.

Thanks.

@Moochava
And it’s me yet again. Encountered continuity break.
After choosing exile(when Hyras asks you what do you want) my game skiped choosing what to do next and pushed me straight into
Three weeks have passed since the Battle of Mytele. As King Hyras @{mytele_standing awaits news of the Vankred's next move|looks for a place of strength from which to turn and fight Vankred}...
I think that happend because game checks *if final_plan != “undetermined” before giving you options related to what do you want to do in exile (in *label explain_plan).
Problem is that you already have your final plan set in previous dialogue with Hyras&co during *label zoriza_visit.
Thus, game skips your exile option and treats as if you follow your previously discussed plan while staying in Mytele.

----ADDED----
Another small break: When Hyras asking you what do you want to do, game won’t realize that you betrayed Condors if you done that only at the end. I guess, to correct that *set attack_condors true needs to be placed somewhere in *label condor_check in both if betray_condors strings (one with Tamur, and one without him).

Nirein aka Remnant isn’t a Nymph. There is a codex in the stats screen that will tell you more about the game world. All Nymphs are female and all Satyrs are male.

Here’s where you can increase your proficiency with those professions by chronological order:

When speaking to Para:
Pon bartering with priest: +1 Diplomat, +1 Scholar
Or
Pon lockpick: +1 Artisan, +1 Burglar

When speaking to Gronput:
Mountain hermits: +1 Priest

When speaking to Para:
Father suffered in Mytele: +1 Diplomat
Or
Father wasted his time: +1 Artisan

When speaking to Urmish:
Dace went into town: +1 Burglar
Or
Spoke to Dace’s quartermaster: +1 Scholar

Preparing for trip to pit:
Lay out father’s lockpicks: +1 Burglar
Or
I’m a keen reader: +1 Scholar
Or
Pray to the gods: +1 Priest

Choose Yune, god of craft and invention: +1 Artisan
Or
Choose Amiria, goddess of love: +1 Diplomat
Or
Choose Amiria, goddess of trickery: +1 Burglar

Discuss theology with Baric: +1 Priest (not immediate)

Choose preferred bird to teach you more about any of the five professions.

Updated this last part because I don’t recall all the professions you can increase right here at the end (which professions you can increase depends on your deity and it’s not necessarily the professions they’re connected with at the start of the game) but it happens when you get the Emerald tablet (or even earlier than that).
Which should be:
Yune: ?, ?
Phy: ?, ?
Amiria: Athlete, Burglar

As you may have noticed most of these are mutually exclusive so you may spread yourself a bit thin trying to achieve proficiency in so many professions, not to mention you should try to match your attributes with your professions.

My character’s name was “Borinn, Son of Heroes” or something similar (I don’t remember the exact wording) and now it’s “Borinn the Philosoph.” I don’t understand why it changed. Can anyone enlighten me?

But Col calls Nirein a male nymph at the beginning of chapter 9, after he washes up at Mytele Bay

@AletheiaKnights
The games will give you different titles based on what you’ve done. You can see them all by clicking the “achievements” button at the top of the screen

I didn’t actually do anything philosoph-like, though. Did my title change just because I started a flirtation with Melaxu?

The way it works in Scorpion is that your title changes when you gain an achievement. I can’t remember for sure, but believe it is the same for this game.

Amiria actually bumps Athlete or Burglar at this point, I believe. She definitely bumps Athlete, because that’s where I got my second point of it.

@JBento While trying to figure out what works best with Mariner yesterday, I picked her first option and it gave me diplomat.

So I seem to have an issue getting scholar renown, is it me or do diplomatic choices seem to bump up priest renown?

I mean the second time you pick, at the Emerald Tablet place.

Are you sure it’s chapter 9? I looked at the code and while Col does mention Remnant, he doesn’t call him a male nymph.

Ahh ok I was referring when you pick her to be your god in the first place :joy:

I think it was Condor contact who called Nirein a male nymph, and only in context of him being mystical figure they actually know close to nothing about.
