Personally, I chose to be pro-self, so Julian died in the end when my Mc decapitated him.
At the same time? No. Make them your ghoul and you’ll have the option to pursue them. Personally all of the romances in this book are… Not healthy to say the least.
Apologies if this has already been brought up (his name didn’t pop up on the Topic Search, so hopefully not), but has anyone managed to save Miguel? I’m blurring more details of the question for those who don’t want spoilers.
Do you have to ghoul him, and does ghouling him take away your investigative time during the mission, since you have to feed him 3 times to bind him? Or would it be like Alexander later in the game, where he takes a sip, is healed, and toddles off? I figured out that his encounter happens at whatever mission you pick first. In my first run, I started at the Camp and wanted Elena as a ghoul, so I refused him blood and he died. In my second run, I started at Xeno Gen because I thought that with him surrounded by doctors and Tremere, it would be an easy check to help him survive. I thought I succeeded the check, but he still died. I thought maybe I had misinterpreted something and tried again on the third run. The poor man still died. I KNOW my Courier must have held him correctly that time. Am I missing something?
@2xs In the tabletop game, you can poach other people’s ghouls. It’s difficult, but you can do it. I guess my brain was spiraling out a scenario where the Courier steals Miguel from his regnant, or gains the Camarilla’s favor by returning him hale and hearty.
Yeah, I am aware of that, just wanted you to know what the situation within the story here. And you can save a ghoul for the Camarilla at another point in the story … if you want!
I haven’t seen this update for the Omnibus app and I’ve restarted it. What version do you have? On the Omnibus, it says it’s game version 22129 and 3.1.6…
Now that you mention it, given the fact that the writer went through the extra effort of giving us Reremouse’s lineage up to Absimilliard using actual canon characters from VTM, it would be great if we could present our lineage if playing as a Ventrue.
Are we of the line of Mithras? Antonius? Tiamat? Alexander?
Well, the Ventrue character, like all others, is at least of the 11th generation (and was probably even higher originally but lowered it when they diablerized the Assamite elder). They could be of any line considering that their 5th Generation ancestor would have been Embraced thousands of years ago.
