Out now! "Vampire: The Masquerade — Night Road": Spoilers Inside Thread

In other news:

We currently have a “Very Positive” rating on Steam, which is great. But we can always use more. If you own the game on Steam, please consider going and leaving a nice review. We want to remain firmly in that category, and because of the patches resetting games issue, we’re balanced on the edge.

Suggestion for further DLC: options to play as a Minister (with Edouard as your sire) or Tzimisce. It could be called “Serpents and Fiends.”

Tzimisce are Sabbat. Not going to happen.

Ministry, on the other hand…and maybe even Lasombra? Who knows?

Aren’t Lasombra Sabbat?

Per V5 Chicago by Night, a significant group have joined the Cam. Like Millicent in Night Road.

I’d consider adding Nosferatu, Ministry, and Lasombra. The only trick with Lasombra is adding a whole extra discipline (Oblivion). But if I can do that, I could also add the Hecata. And suitable sires are hanging around in the narrative too: Stercorius (Nosferatu), Edouard Chambet (Ministry), Millicent Rue (Lasombra), Chiara della Passiglia (Hecata).

Does anyone have a preferred method at the end for dealing with Donati? My Luka is a Ventrue, after all, and there are two methods that are especially fitting for him. One, he uses Dominate to make Donati drop the flare gun, successful against even such an old and powerful ghoul. The other method is to rely on his natural leadership and charisma to rally Lettow for the final round. Either option is quite appropriate for a Ventrue. Dominate is the birthright of the Ventrue. While it is to be reserved as a last resort for when mundane persuasion fails, such a situation as with Donati would constitute such an emergency, issuing the command like a king and being obeyed without the subject even realizing it initially. On the other hand, rallying Lettow without needing to use Disciplines demonstrates the leadership that one would expect of a Ventrue. How was it said in the aftermath of taking New York City from the Sabbat? Brujah may brawl and Assamites hunt, but war, true war, is the sport of kings. Either way, if Olivecrona ever learns of it, I would like to think that she would display great approval for her childe.

The Ventrue of the Dark Ages were warlords and warriors who led their men from the front when needed. Sometimes, a Ventrue has to get his own hands dirty. Mine cut her in half with a sword.

Has anyone managed to achieve the following achievements?

Thrall, Paragon, Amaranth, Incoache Metamorphosis and Masquerade .

Masquerade is easy enough. Just keep your head down and succeed on skill checks but avoid messy criticals. I also didnt turn anyone into a ghoul.

Question: is Clan Giovanni still around or the Beckoning got to them? I would love to play a character from that clan.

I achieved Amaranth by Diablerising Reremouse, Paragon by ending with a max Humanity MC, and Inchoate Metamorphosis by using the 2100 to transform my MC’s blood.

Something happened, and I think the Giovanni, Harbingers/Cappadocians, Samedi, and Nagaraja have “merged” into one clan called the Hecata.

do you remember which option to choose after defeating Reremouse?

My favorite was having all Lettow people gather around her and shoot her multiple times. Hehehe

@Moochava I have some questions: 1) What happens if a woman about to give birth is transformed into a vampire?
2) What would happen if a 90-year-old man became a vampire?
3) is it possible to transform a newborn child into a vampire?

In my Assamite playthrough, I just put multiple bullets to her body and head, and then shot her flare gun which caused her to burn alive. Ghoul is so tough she didnt even scream in pain while she was burning. She just pulled out her knife and took three steps before collapsing.

I’ve waited a long time for this. Before the others recover, I drain Reremouse, body and soul.

I think you need at least 60 in both Perpetuate Your Existence and Defy The Traditions to do this, and to go with Lettow’s plan to defeat Reremouse.

I also got Thrall by playing as a Banu Haqim who went with Julian’s plan (to defeat Reremouse), drank his blood to get his Disciplines and had an intimate moment with him at the end.

So that means atleast 3 circles shaded for Defy and Perpetuate? I didnt use the numerical option for stats lol

No, I think it’s just one circle. My MC has less than three in both but managed to Diablerise Reremouse anyway.
