Iā€™m getting an error too so Iā€™ll just wait for the standalone app release, whenever that is.

So the game has no stat checks? Like lets say if I am normally a honest person but decide to lie once on a whim, the outcome wouldnā€™t be affected by your alignment?

The art style is really something else, just got started but already impressed with the lore and other world building aspects. Could be something special this

Congratulations to @Charles_Parkes And glad you finally released the game. Now I am patiently waiting for the Standalone release on Google play.

Congrats on the release, @Charles_Parkes. Iā€™ve played the demo once and got so hooked on the world building and the unique style of the story that I got anxious for the release since then. Now Iā€™m waiting for the standalone release.

Just finished the game, Iā€™ll give some personal reviews for the game so if anyone havenā€™t finished the game yet, please be aware of spoilers, especially the 2nd one:

  1. Overall, the lore and the new dynamic of different perspectives is quite new and fresh compare to other choices of games. It took sometimes to get used to, but once you had it would turn out to be very fun and interesting.
  2. I really like the characters in this game, although itā€™s quite sad that you donā€™t spend much time with them (other than your 3 closest friends in the first parts). The romance also feel quite rushed (The date with Ruric was cut off so suddenly that I thought it was a bug. The next day there is no indication or dialogues suggested that there was a change in the relationship or not, which left me wondered if the date really happened).
  3. To be honest, at first I was more interested in the ā€œYouā€ perspective. But playing as Hollo had grown on me, so the ending I got (with the choice of searching for your death place), also ended quite abruptly. Feel kind of unfair somehow for Hollo to had so many difficulties yet far shorter than ā€œYouā€. If you have a longer time including the two (instead of just one final chapter), I think itā€™d end in a better note.
  4. Iā€™m quite unsure about the skipping pages feature because Iā€™ve bought the game in ā€œHosted Gameā€ app and I canā€™t seem to find it.
In conclusion, that was just the review for my first run. Other than some minor things here and there, the game was really fun and got me hooked. Iā€™ll tinker with the game some more and definitely looking forward to the sequel. (sr if there are grammatic errors somewhere cause Iā€™m not a native English speaker :>)

Iā€™ll second this question. Whatā€™s going on with the stats system? It seems like each choice you make has an impact on your personality, then the combination of each facet of your personality determines which ā€˜elementā€™ you associate with. Where does it go from there?

Hey everyone, thanks for your comments and questions.
I will get back to you - but Iā€™m just back from 12 hours driving for work and am sitting down to try to fix some gamebreaking bugs that some people are experiencing.
The skipping and rereading function is currently causing the issue and Iā€™m trying to turn it all off so I can fix it - that why people canā€™t access it at the moment. Thanks all for your patience

Hey There,

Iā€™m enjoying the story so far, got it via Steam, but Iā€™ve run into an issue, and Iā€™m not sure if anyone else has had the same problem. I decided to check out the Turan spirit totem lore via the lore menu, but now I canā€™t get back to the lore menu or the general menu, which means I canā€™t get back to the story. There isnā€™t an option to return to the story and it looks like the only way to do so is to restart from the beginning. If thereā€™s something Iā€™m overlooking or if someone has an immediate fix, Iā€™d appreciate it. Thanks.

You are correct my friend. Iā€™ve been playing this game for a few days now and Iā€™ve come across several bugs like such. They are aware of most and are working on fixes. For now, the best thing we can do is report what we find and wait for the author and choice of/hosted to release the fixes when they can.

Hi there,

@SabreandPistol, @Axiom I believe HG have just pushed the next patch. Iā€™m watching the error reports closely, but the lore menu issue should be fixed in the updated version. Also @Hylum, that code appearance shouldnā€™t happen now. Thank you!

@ghost3337, @Daniel_Beevers Thatā€™s almost right. The Aegis Saga was not meant to be stats check based - a reader was meant to feel like they werenā€™t locked into picking the same type of decision over and over to ā€˜winā€™ it. It focuses on character arcs, including changing your mind about whatā€™s most important to your characterā€¦however, following beta feedback I rewrote it to bring personality stat checks into more key moments. Though Iā€™d still describe the Aegis Saga as story-based, with stat-checks - but set at ā€˜easyā€™ difficulty, if that makes sense. The focus of the sequel is developing this area to find a reader happy balance. Thank you!

Thank you @attolia, @Empress_Nightmare, @Eiwynn, @poison_mara and others, appreciate your support! Bit of a buggy start, but with the latest patch and anything in the near future, Iā€™m hoping people will enjoy thisā€¦ Iā€™m having a lot of fun implementing lessons learned in the sequel!

@LittleAri - the skip and reread is back in the latest patch - Iā€™m watching anxiously to see if anyone hits a hidden tripwire

Thank you all for being so amazing!

Lastly, @Manwithnoplan, @littleari, @PhilosoTor, @nexus, @avidreader, @MoSalahscores Thank you for the nice feedback. You may realise how nail-biting it is trying to push a story to release, and your positive feedback made a huge difference to my attitude while I pushed through some all night coding sessions to get some bug fixes up asap. Really appreciated it!!

Hi @felindamuliadi
In chapter 14 (Your side) you get to go on a ā€˜dateā€™ if you like any of the ROs. They are all gender blind.

Harthor
Orin
Ruric
Ieme
Tolm
Shon
Ase
Umis
Faradson
Yala

Given your characterā€™s age the dates may feel fairly tame depending on what you are hoping for  - plus two are not quite what you might expect, because I didnā€™t want the sense that all the characters are hanging around waiting for the reader to pick and choose! No Roā€™s for Hollo in book 1. Hope you enjoy it!
