Is it possible to get all the kids together for the play game It always seems like I can never get all of them
Can i ask whats up with the Nate romance? Like is he meant to be not at all interested whilst MC is like kissing him, he’s basically tried to break up twice, my MC was like No! We can work it out and he just goes, ok sure!
Am i doing something wrong or is this how its meant to be?
You can actually i remember doing it a few times during the beta (unless it changed afterwards)
Nah, they just have alot on their plate.
Just by comparing their reaction when MC compliments them (compared to when other people do it), it’s clear that they like them.
It’s possible atleast for Aurellian. For other species it may be harder.
Honestly, i totally don’t care for Rachel and Alex, they are bullies, so i just totally exclude them
Same for my first playthrough during the childhood.
Good thing that you can reconcile during your Academy years, and later become true friends(or something more) without compromising your relationships with others.
I carried the bad impression up to the end, even when Artemis asked for me to give a good recommendation i rejected. I only let her win the president election cause i would be expulse otherwise, i would crush her u.u
Is there a way to have high enough relations with all the factions to get rewards? Or do I have to pick and choose, the code diving is complex enough to make it difficult to track, wish we had a guide.
I lost count of how many cybernetic implants i got, but I’m pretty sure the purists hated me to the core
Finally finished first playthrough.
So… i kinda run away. Kinda.
I mean, in defence of my MC,
it was kinda hard to think rationally after he lost 30 potential years of life with his family (and proud Aurellians didn’t really wished to see him on Europa). Plus again, we already (accidentaly) gave DSF 30 bloody years to prepare to Apogee’s assasination… give me and my family our earned rest in some higher plane of existence.
No to mention Father can finally meet his adorable granddaughter…
Question, i didn’t have much time to play it and i haven’t finished the demo, but can we both be a cyborg and pyschic? I am kinds just down bad to praising the omnissiah or becoming some sort of god like Mekhane the Broken god
Btw, i think mechanics and computer should be fused to technology. I reason, i only want to raise my computer stat, but all the choices to really raise it goes for enginer and enginer are mechanics pretty much, same as science and xenology
No, you can’t, cyber implants block psionic powers and being a cyborg make pretty much everything on you a cyber implants, so…
Oh, forgot to add my impressions after first play.
@Lucid, this is definitely your best standalone game… and main reason Lost Heir can stay on top is due to it’s superior length (being trilogy). Certainly gonna replay it many times. Alot of great characters and more than respectable amount of aternatives and parallel storylines to enjoy. Everyone in “Main Six” ended up being lovable characters… well in their own way(looking at you, Rachel).
One thing I want to mention… more like… wish for the future?.. is for you to try yourself at writing lengthier and more modular/interactive epilogues. Good example is Heroes of Myth. Now, this maybe controversal opinion, as some player could prefer more “broad strokes” with possibility to fil the gapes with their own headcannon. But I for once wold’ve definitely enjoyed to see your rendition of such epilogues.
Totally agree with Darakku about this, i mean, i still didn’t find the loveable size of Rachel, but i’m going to try it next… Maybe
And i never had a chance to say this but…Lucid, thank you so much for heir of Daria, it’s with no doubt in my top 5 (and i play a lot)
Kind of disappointed with the game, actually, may be it more to Star Trek ? Because the story has too many side quest.
Is it possible to get an A in Social in Chapter One?
Yes, there is an achievement for it. There is a random component–be aware of that though.
I’m happy I tried this. I played as Aurellian.
It’s long by choice of games standards, there are a lot of choices & adventures. It can also get emotional since every character has their own story to tell and have their charms.
I fell for Krag right away lol. He’s a gentle giant. The others were good sadly there’s no poly which I can understand even though it’s just a game.
kyle’s ending made me really sad. I tried to encourage him on his past memories and not repress them but it seems to be a mistake. He turned 180 in personality & started killing… Couldn’t shoot him. I don’t know what could I have done differently?
I got The Ultimate AWOL Ending. I didn’t want to leave everyone behind but I also wanted the father & it didn’t seem like a bad choice at first. Lol I don’t know if it was.
The Reticulans were my least liked species, they repressed other smaller civilisations, had only contempt for civilizations with lower technology and kept on slaving Orroks.
Just finished my first go through, good work as always Lucid! Always enjoyed these life-spanning style of games, really enjoyed my time though I felt like we could have used an extra chapter about being a Captain during the war, though I get it would have been awkward to fit into the timeline. The surprise about the best friend’s race was so obvious, especially with the heavy cloak. Like, come on, we’re missing one of the starting races, I wonder what they are? No but seriously I really enjoyed the game, romanced the Aurellian friend and had a baby with them, got hulk DNA but gave it up for mind powers, didn’t manage to save Kyle (RIP), got the Family Full House, and managed the War Hero ending though all of those missed messages about not having high enough Xeno reps taunted me.
I’m excited to keep playing, your games are always good for replayability (I still boot up the other Life of games). Only complaint is how misleading the intro page for the game before you buy it suggests a link to the Daria verse, which is seems to be a bit of a stretch.
Depending on your race and who you are partnered up with, yes. The only ‘impossible’ combo I’ve found so far (played through that section a lot with the demo, though I am sure I am missing some since I never went Reticulan) is a Solarion with Breezok during the Obstacle Course. Don’t think I ever actually lost the cannon game though it is likely possible, and the worst setup in Tug-of-War (Solarion paired with Alex/Rachel) only requires a minor hit to Breezok’s rep.
