Oh man, I’m so behind, only 2,627 words. I need to pick up the slack 
I had a school assignment hit me pretty hard this week, so I’m still barely over 1k. 
But I’m just going to take this a day at a time and make sure I pass my history class first…

Oh wow, Fiogan and Eric, you’re racing along! I had to start a few days late due to other stuff so already a bit behind (4560 words) but I got given a badge and a dinosaur today by the local nano group that’s now perched on the top of my laptop to remind me why I need to pick up the pace 
(I think I need to give him proper eyes, that zombie dinosaur look is kind of unnerveing after a while)

And yes…I sympathise. How do these things happen? At least we don’t still have to buy pots and pots of ink and sacrifice the lives of a grove of trees. ;p

I know. I really need to stop saying I’m going to write a “short story” because it ends up longer than the last one lol.
True at least we don’t need to sacrifice forests anymore. My story is stored on an itty bitty USB drive the size of half my thumb… where’'d I put it again?
(j/k it is so backed up elsewhere as well! I don’t know what I’d do if I lost it all at this stage).

I’m so late to this but I’ve been writing on-off but nowhere near 50,000. I think I’ve logged about 15,000 so far? Guess I’ve to pull a couple intense shifts if I’m even going to try and make it hahahahaha 
but this is gna be exciting!

Aah, @Jacic I’ve joined you in crossing the Nano line! 50,000 words this month to add to the manuscript’s current total, all done! Now I just need to write heaps more and finish off the story, somehow…
I don’t have a fun meme, sadly, but I can direct eyes to a fun quote from Sam Bain: “How To Write: get as distracted as possible for as long as possible until you are driven to start typing by an overpowering sense of shame.”

Even with my purchase of a used laptop, hence giving me some writing mobility, I’ll still be lucky to hit 25,000 words for the month.

I was doing great. Reaching the 38,000 mark. So I thought a day break would not hurt. That was followed by two days of little writing and now hit a snag. Should still hit 50,000 by end of month but will need a blitz tomorrow to catch up to where I should be.
