@MrYoungzman Sup bro!!! What happen to you man?? You disappear for like a long time… glad to see your back!!
Do I count as an original? I have been around for a while.
By the way love the concept and the game type you have going here. I remember when there was only one page of threads and we had things like Philosophy and Quotes and things like This Forum is Boring. Remember that one?
I would have to disagree, Toa_Onarax. Since Moua wants to do a historically accurate game, it would be impossible to include random Europeans as they had not made contact with Europe in 1100. It is four centuries until that happened.
Although, Moua did put Oda Nobunaga down as a player name and I’m not sure what the intention is. Maybe it’s just a reference.
Did the choice of Oda Nobunaga confuse you? Although, I’m not very sure how hated the Europeans were. Surely their missionaries would cause some tension in the imperial court, considering how strongly entwined Buddhism is with the empire, but they wanted their guns. I get the impression it is stronger during the Edo period.
Well, 1100 would be interesting too. There’s a strong tendency to overuse sengoku jidai, and it would be nice to see more stuff on the earlier periods.
I don’t mean to barge in but :-" actually there were female samurai in Japan . They were rare but they still existed. I read that they normally stayed at the house of the people they were protecting while usually a superior samurai would go out and take care of things at town . They would stay as like a safety net if you will to fend off mild intruders and protect the clients. They were paid mostly to be guards for wealthy people or farmers to protect the clients lifes or lively hood .just thought I’d throw that out there for further reference.
