At the beginning it seems like the story changes depending on whether you load MC from book 1 or 2. My question is can u still meet and romance Daisy if u load book 1. Because the story assumed we break up. And i cant seemed to load book 2 save. Gotta replay i guess. Thanks in advance
Any word in saving when we complete? I want to play it with a bunch of characters, but like Swordwin, the save option isn’t yet available. How long will we have to wait to save completed games?
As ever - amazing games. I love the way the cases work across all three games. Gathering clues is a really clever alternative progression element beyond stat accumulation.
Hi I’m a little bit confused for some Reasons when I load my import save it only shows the save I’ve done during evertree inn, if my memory serves me I’ve got saves from sordwin too which makes it confusing to me since when I retrieve it from my Gmail account the only thing that shows up are the saves from evertree
Same with me
@Parz
The save feature only comes in choice of games/hosted games when the sequel of the current game is in beta status,i.e.,when book 4 will be almost complete.
You can’t save your Lux playthrough at the moment like @anon42713113 mentioned above. It will be available once Book 4 entered the publishing queue.
I loved it while it lasted but the game is simply too short in my opinion, when will the other two books come out?
Hi,
The other books will come out when it’s ready. Just a heads up, per FAQ, we don’t encourage asking for when a book is release because it add pressure to the authors. I hope for your understanding and patience.
Thank you.
Thanks, I thought it must be something like that. It a a shame though; I do think that is a mistake for series by a proven author with now 3 really great books under their belt.
Surely the best way to maximise playthroughs on release when it’s not the final book in a series would be to let people save the journeys they finish so they can run another play through without losing their choices
I think it have to do with coding in the save rather than the author’s experience if I remember correctly. Before, they have saves at the end of the each book of the sequel but it causes some importing problems because of the timeframe between the each book that some variables might have forgotten or change by the authors when writing next book so they opt for waiting for the next book to enter the publishing queue before implementing the save. I just need to find that post but I read it somewhere here in the forums.
This is correct. There will likely need to be a few coding changes in Lux CoS as I work on CoL so it’s better not to include the save function immediately. This would likely lead to a bunch of saves that don’t work with the finished product when it’s finally released.
One of the reasons I decided to split Lux into 2 books was to enable the option to save halfway through and make it easier to explore everything the city has to offer. Hopefully, this will mean that replaying CoS when the save feature is added, isn’t as painful.
Also, thank you @resuri08. It’s great to have readers who are eager for the next book. I am working on the 4th one and have been since before part 3 was submitted, but these things take a really long time to figure out, write and test. The other reason I split this adventure into 2 parts was to get everyone this first half as soon as possible! The rest is coming, but please be patient. Updates will come when I have them.
Thank you everyone for supporting the series! T x
If they never came with you, do you ever see Daisy Leah or the halfling from the Evertree Inn again?
I just imported a save file wherein I brought Gunther to Sordwin and I pursued a romance with Orion. Is there a reason as to why Gunther’s being unfriendly in Lux? It’s said that he’s iffy from how Sordwin turned out but I managed to make up with him after the fallout involving the confrontation with Winter. I got 99% relationship with him at the end of Sordwin.
You can meet the halfling Wen at the fair on 4th day.
Alas,L and D are only available if they are your RO’s.
This is a glitch. Will be fixed in both Lux and Sordwin the next patch (in the next few days I hope)
Summary
So,I was rereading Lux today and man the more I read the more interesting stuff come out,so I beleive now that the priestess will probably be a RO in the future book, because I found this passage in Mallen Dupree’s Diary.
Mallen knew that Nancy was attracted to him, and many times she made advances, even offering him monetary compensation in exchange for ‘additional services.’ But Mallen was a man of honour—or so he claims in his own memoirs—and never allowed his relationship with Nancy to become anything more than professional.
So,this Nancy is the priestess and I believe that she is going to do the same with MC.And I also believe that she is probably an immortal or something, because she does not look old when we meet her.
It’s just a theory,so don’t take it much seriously.

@ThomB
I don’t know if this is a bug or not,but the golden brooch of Lux which we purchase at the fair at the cost of 3 gold never gets added in the miscellaneous items.
I don’t know if this is a glitch or not, but after finishing Case 3 with Oriana, even if I try to save as much time as possible, I can’t spend time with Leah on Day 2 because it doesn’t give me the option how I want to spend my Evening. Any advice?
So, do we really get a romance scene with
Orion but not with Winter?
if I remember the demo correctly there is one if you do the mission with Orion/ana and then you go to the mansion of imperion.
I did not try it in the full game yet
It depends on what you bought at the shop and which way you chose. Ration for your horse will help a little bit while “Second Wind” will allow you to come back on time no matter what, if you don’t buy Second Wind then buy horse ration and climbing gear, go for the hill, use climbing gear to climb up, ignore everything, don’t help the person, when come back to Lux, don’t talk to Ori ( maybe a few words won’t matter but better safe than sorry)
