Has anyone figured out how to get to the Lookout in Marble Hill? Or is it a place we can’t actually go yet as a spy, or otherwise?
It’s not a place we can visit yet. All of the career side stories aren’t concluded in Book 3, since it ends right after the afternoon of Founder’s Day.
I’m a big fan of the extended lore we get about our hometown when you go dating with K
Just when I thought I had an idea of all the potential mysteries to solve, I met a winged kissyface head haunting and now I have to explore a bit more
My MCs are from Veyawin and Tyr, but honestly, I’m starting a new Flommie MC just to experience Ky’s boat date in-game. That and the scholar career side-plot is really intriguing to me too.
The beta is the best thing that happened this month! What a great work! I can’t wait for it to be released!
A minor detail, though…
In 9mainmystery,
*if companion = "Angel" his sing-song voice coaxing you with the promise of a good time.
Perhaps you intended to use ${comp_his} instead of his?
Happy Holidays to all! The beta will be up for a few more days and then I’ll be taking it down to prepare for final submission. Thank you everyone for your support, feedback and help in making this next volume the best it can be! X
Okay, planning submission for next week (before 2021! Woot woot!) so the beta will be closing on Monday. Thank you so much to everyone who has helped with testing and given me such useful feedback (as well as pointing out the millions of typos!)
Hope you all enjoy this last weekend of reading, and that you’ll enjoy it even more when the full game is released next year
Looking forward to purchasing it and finally continuing my MCs’ tales!
Sorry I wasn’t really able to help out this time, but I’ll look forward to the cute half-elf romance when it is released.
D is a mystery unto themselves! my MC’s patience is far better than my own
i’m glad that i was able to do some playthroughs during the weekend and i have to say that i really enjoyed it. i can’t wait to see what you will do in the City of Lies.
When we read the mind of lord imperion in the beginning. In the demo there was a part which is now missing in the beta,in which lord imperion have that conversation with the creature.
My MC is a scholar from tyr so his will is very strong, but still the conversation never appear.
Correct. There a quite a few changes from the demo. The beta is the correct and final version. Anything in the demo that doesn’t feature in the final game is an idea I abandoned
So continues the tale of Brewster and Her Unfortunate Creature.
Is it possible to do Oriana’s quest and still make it in time for the thing with Daisy
Yes, it’s possible to make it back on time with the right items and choices.
I finally managed to play it, and not a moment too soon! I decided, more or less at random, to start with my assassin character (I have four).
Stats:
I took him to find Anya and then let her run off with her lover. Then the next day he went to the duelists’ guild and almost got human-sacrificed, but ended up destroying the cult and attacking the ox-mother. Ran out of time way too fast, so Leon never ended up investigating the murder, not after the first day.
Two bugs (possibly):
Firstly, at the festival, the master from the duelists’ guild mentioned Leon being invited to a “soiree” although I don’t remember that happening on the previous day. They were definitely mentioned, but no invitation. When he says, “I hope you still plan on attending,” that ends up sounding pretty weird.
Second, way at the end of the game the narration mentions that “Imperion wants you to help him uncover the killer for his own political gain,” but although I can see how that’s strongly implied, Leon never spoke to Imperion after discovering Gubrick dying in the tent. So, also weird.
howd you do it
The beta is closed now so I can’t go back to check, but I think buying the climbing gear and rations for your pony helps a lot. I took the woods path and gave marbles to the feykin, which probably saved me some time as well. I can’t really remember any other details right now, sorry
