Lux adds a bit more to the lore, things I hadn’t seen at that time, for example that Hayden is an unusual changeling and changelings aren’t as rare as the book on races and monstrology had me believe, but it’s still all so fascinating!!! I have so many questions about their abilities!
They get bored easily and they like a certain level of comfort. It’s said they’re greedy, and while it seems to be true, they must be already very rich at this point. Maybe they just want to see how far they can go and how high they can climb. But I don’t know. I have no idea what truly motivates them.
What’s interesting is… Usually, a character like this is described as not fearing death. It’s the typical cliché. But Hayden is very much all about saving their own ass and not playing hero or looking cool.
Btw, “Impy” is great, don’t let him hear that. 
That would be awesome, but my biggest fear at this point has become Imperion trying to hurt Hayden to pressure MC or get back at MC for something. Right now, Winter is more important and valuable to Imperion than the MC, but I have a feeling this could change, seeing how we’re carrying a special gift obviously, and are the MC after all. There is no way Imperion doesn’t know what’s going on between us, maybe he’s even working together with Winter, by using Winter as a carrot on a stick to steer the MC. It’s all really a keg of dynamite.
Imperion is one of two possible threats for Hayden on the horizon.
The other one is Ruby, who is still out there and who must be even more pissed and out for revenge now. She really needs to die, before she comes up with another plan.
