That’s true, but the MC could flirt with them before learning that, and nothing seemed to indicate that that was particularly inappropriate, so I think we can at least say that the idea isn’t completely taboo.

I know this is a very random post but I think I should just write it here so I can have a peace of mind (and hope that it won’t haunt me again when I’m trying to sleep 
).
Is it possible to have have high relationship scores and different scenes with Juniper and Buck? I know they’re NOT ROs but even then I think the dynamic would work even as friends or acquaintances. Like, the idea of a bold and low intelligence MC getting along with Juniper while a high soothing and culture MC being friends with Buck is adorable and funny. And, having the their respective clubs react to their unlikely friendship with the MC has tons of potential too. Like they can act either hostile or protective of the MC depending whether they like them or not.
Like, the doormouse questioning Juniper if she lets the MC sleeping on her table when they’re drooling and gives passive aggressive remarks if they don’t like the MC vs. Protecting the MC’s honor when the aristocrats make backhanded remarks at the MC when the MC is being the very antithesis of their beliefs in the club.
Also, I know this is unfair for the doormouse fans since I’m giving them a full on prompt as an example but this one’s so vivid that I have to make it .

Soothing MC : Trips on air
Buck : raises their eyebrows Seriously MC you’re such a fragile being. Well, look at you. A single breeze on a sunny day and you’re over here on the floor. You wouldn’t survive in the world out there. Getting cuts and bruises over nothing. Here, I’ll take you to your club.
Rowdy Roundabouts : *agrees with Buck and tells the MC to be tougher because that’s their motto. Soem are teasing the MC for having the strength of a paper doll.Some even rudely tells them to eat vitamins. *
That afternoon the Nobel Gases noted that the Rowdy Roundabouts are very lively. Much more livelier than normal. The usual thuds are increased in volumes and intensity. Vyv said that it so hard that they’re starting to make dents on the shared walls. Many onlookers reported that they saw the Roundy Roundabouts punching seemingly nothing screaming, “ AIIIIIIIR !!!”. One passerby was even asked by a member who asked the poor fellow in an awfully intimidating method unsuitable to bring up in polite society on how does one punch the air around you properly.

Oooh… that’s true. But, we didn’t know that our previous MC can receive backlash either from starting a relationship with Rory or Haze.
I’m happy to say that I’m done writing Chapter One! The game now sits at 298,000 words, including the prologues. Now I have a few days’ worth of serious debugging and playtesting before I start work on Chapter Two. As soon as I finish debugging, I will celebrate by introducing you to a new character!

301,000 words now that I’ve made a few adjustments. I’m planning eight chapters. Do not do that multiplication.
Anyway, chapter two will be much more straightforward, I think, and a bit less crazy-branchy. I hope. I guess we’ll see!

Meet the Newest Noble Gas!
“You wrest yourself out of the beginning of a very vivid dream and look round the back of the divan to see Shah from Malaya sitting cross-legged on the floor, playing with Catarrh the cat. Shah, the very newest member, is a young woman who recently came to London from Malaya along with her whole family; immediately upon her acceptance into the Noble Gases she distinguished herself by choosing to wear satin pajamas and a bright yellow head scarf around the club, insisting that this isthe most comfortable sort of clothing.”
“Catarrh, fluffy as ever, gray, white, and tortoiseshell of hue, lies on Shah’s lap, soaking up the beam of sunlight coming through the window.”
“I thought I would just talk a little bit about my experiences in my first week, so that everyone is comfortable. I could talk about how my grandparents used to own a dye factory. Do you think that would be interesting? Because I heard that you have to warm an audience up, and if you don’t do that you can lose them. And I want to do a good job. I’m sure you understand. You had to do it yourself. That’s why I think it’s a nice tradition. If it were the oldest member who gave the opening remarks, then it would always be the same person each time, wouldn’t it? Until they died, of course. So this is nice, because every time a new member joins, everyone gets to see them and learn a little about them, and also about cats in my case, because it’s a good way for everyone also to meet Catarrh a bit, who is a very good kitty, isn’t she?”

A question though: Was Shah described here wearing a different outfit than what Shyranno drew? It’s weird to describe a baju kurung (taking a guess that it’s what she’s wearing) as pajamas, tbh.

I couldn’t resist.
Oh no–that was a deliberate choice, to dress her in a kebaya. I originally wanted to draw her in PJs, but thought it looked a bit too informal for the cast photo. Huhu. There were a few characters in the cast that had a few outfit options to choose from (most notably Juniper!), I usually just go with whatever I feel most inspired by!
Edit: Coincidentally! 1st of February is World Hijab Day! How fortuitous!

Aaaah… Shah and Catarrh are adorable in that drawing 
. Will you do these types of photos with the rest of the cast? (though it may be troublesome )
And, I’m pretty excited about Malay character in Jolly Good. I wonder if there’s going to be some Malayu sprinkled into it

Thank you! I do adore these characters so… Maybe. I don’t know. But if I were to draw some notable scenes, which would you guys most like to see? From both Tally Ho and Cakes and Ale.
I’ve been toying with the idea of drawing the part where Light Fingered Lou flips their mask up to reveal themselves to the player during the baccarat heist scene… I think that might be nice?
