I adore it! And, you know, I’ve never really thought about it quite like that but, yes, of course Fitzie must have tousled bed hair. I have your lovely picture here as I write this scene (not a Fitzie scene, but a Harlow scene, but still it serves as good inspiration!)

So, on Kyle Marquis’s twitter recommendation, I picked this game up, and I loved it. And now I have QUESTIONS:

  • this being part 1 of 3, I was surprised to see no save game option at the end. Will part 2 be handled by answering questions instead of the more usual save game import, or have I just played it too early and ti hasn’t been implemented yet?
  • Can you get further in a Fitzie romance than an maybe-maybe-not-awkward scene in the arena ball storage (or what I assume is the equivalent in the other places you can have them go to?)?
  • IF part 2 works off of a save import, will a potential Fitzie romance be predicated on you not telling another character (in my case, Vyv while lying on the couch after the Great Night of Busyness) you love them?

Either way, great work, and I’ll be keeping my eye out for part 2.

  • The author has said that the ability to save the game will be added when the second game is closer to release. There will also be the option to answer questions instead of importing your save.

  • The furthest a romance can go in game 1 is a kiss and a general discussion of a future relationship.

  • As for future games, I think the author says it best himself:

Thank you. I didn’t get the kiss, so I guess I’ll replay once the save feature comes out. It shouldn’t take me much to fine-tune my playthrough.

@unpeachthepeaches answered all of your questions perfectly! I’m so glad you enjoyed it (and try Tally Ho while you’re waiting for Game 2 (which is about 3/8 done at the moment…))

…and you can also have a scene with Fitzie at the newspaper office and the opera, by the way. If you want to explore additional variations on a theme. Enjoy.

Fitzie is absolutely hilarious, their kind of serious-faced snark is my favourite type of humour. Making a request to be able to call them “Imogen” (or the equivalent is they’re male) at one point in part 2, just to see their face.

Alright, so I decided to replay the game to see if I could get the kiss @unpeachthepeaches mentioned, and I did, and I think I could’ve gotten it in the first playthrough if not for the fact that I was ALSO romantically involved with Vyv, which turns the kiss event and convo into Fitzie trying to sabotage your other relationship.
I cannot, therefore and in good conscience, suggest that people who are playing a Fitzie romance also romance someone else. Not because of the kiss, but because if you do so you miss the chance to be called “world’s biggest goofus”, which I can only presume is a portmanteau of goofy and doofus, and the highest distinction one could possibly aim for. T-shirt when?

EDIT: Alright, turns out there’s ANOTHER kiss (which is actually two kisses), but it also seem predicated on you not being romantic with anybody else. You do NOT get called world’s biggest goofus again (a shame), but you do get accused of perverting delicate servant sensibilities, so it is a de facto win nevertheless.

This game’s dialogue comes with “silly mode” turned on, you can’t turn it off, and I love it for it.

If I remember correctly, I got the kiss(es) AND the sabotage relationship? I wasn’t going full Vyv romance, but I did choose that we had been in love in the past and that there might be something there still. And then Fitzie just… well, he did his thing and my MC was like ‘Vyv who?’

Maybe it depends on whether you’re being clear about pursuing a romance with another character? My thing with Vyv was more subtle and nothing really happened. Fitzie was still trying to ruin the possibility of it though :joy:

Did you get the cab kisses along with the sabotage attempt?

Yeah! At least, that’s what I remember. I haven’t played recently so I could be mistaking different playthroughs?

hey! so idk if i’m jus dumb or what but i haven’t been able to get the haze scene at the opera? are there requirements to trigger it and if so please share? i’m suffering over here lmaooo

Mingle with the performers during the opera with an Observe of 40 or more (you’ll need somewhat more if you are tipsy), and you’ll notice someone with purple hair lingering on the periphery.

Or, if you have a leaf tattoo, you can do the same without the need for the Observe check.

Just finished my first playthru of Jolly Good, and I enjoyed it so much! Fitzie is absolutely amazing and I love how the Noble Gases don’t care my Eugenie is 100% a thief. And Haze’s cameo and being a sponsor has me SO EXCITED! I love him so much so getting that and his tiny mention of Tressie at the Opera made me so happy😃 Cannot wait for the next book!

My favorite parts were Valentine coming all the way England to learn to be a thief from Eugenie, Haze’s cameo and sponsorship, and then falling through the ceiling while Fitzie laughed at me (so romantic). I also enjoyed being a terrible influence on Parsnip

Is there anyway to get Rory’s money back in Chapter 5? Perwinkle keeps loosing her money and I feel bad about it so I was wondering how I’d go about not loosing?

Oh! Also, when Rory was explaining what happened, she said my Tally Ho MC wasn’t around to help her and made it sound like she was still working for her when, in fact, that MC should be in Hollywood as an actress with Valentine.
