I don’t know how I did it but if your MC has high culture you can sing them a song and tell Juniper about the rumors of them dating
I found it was quite easy to be honest… There is like 6 matches before the competition with the other clubs end and at every chance you just have to pick the option to talk about romance with them after a while of wasting time on this (I think I was at the begin of the 4th or 5th match) they retire in the restrooms and kiss
Oh… thanks for the info!
. So THAT’S how to set both of them up !
I end up having “The secret benefactor” as an option after following Fitzie and helping him/her on her schemes missions (I think you must be successfull in all three: Let her steal back the pearl in the hotel, allow her to counterfeit her papers at the Butler/Maids club and obtain a photo of Pipsy and Thunder kissing). I honestly did bad on all other choices (could not get Tappy or the aunt sponsor the club or favor cousin Marmaduke romance with Tabby)
I don’t know if this is sudden but I noticed that depending on your choices or stats your choices change? This is all still in the demo so not too many spoilers. Like, Fitzie may admonish you for crying or would comfort you and if you choose to do a heist with Fitzie the MC can either threaten or snap their fingers at the hotel’s detective
Ohhh? Fitzie can admonish you for crying? Do you know what causes this? I cried in front of him once at the beginning and he was pretty sweet.
They said it’s not very professional in one of my runs with them but they end up being very attached to my MC in the end so… not a huge deal in the end
. In fact, Fitzie ends up confessing (I’m using this word lightly) to her while they’re having a stroll.
Nope, that’s why I commented
Replaying Tally Ho again and delighted to find out that there are new easter eggs!
Rory now gives additional comments if you name TH!MC Ernie, Vyv or Gilberto

This can happens depending on your relationship at the end of the interview. They’ll react negatively if it’s below 30.
(this was meant as an edit instead of a new post oops)
By nature, Fitzie is the type who prefer abrasive people instead of pushovers. The less hoity-toity you behave the better. Being friendly towards them, having prepared questions for the interview, letting them order whiskey when they ask for it, not having bad breath and dressing properly for the occasion helps.
Oh…how do we gain a good relationship with them during the interview?
. I don’t think it’s possible since my MC is quite meek and the options you would have to make to increase their relationship with them isn’t aligned with my MC
It’s a bit difficult because Fitzie’s responses to you depend a good deal on what your character is like. From what I’ve seen, if your character is bold, he doesn’t mind you talking back to him or being a bit rude. But if your character is soothing, he’ll just laugh at the attempts, and it might turn him off. It also depends on who has the upperhand in the relationship. The nature of his response changes based on how much he respects you as well. If you give him a lot of freedom, or treat him more like a friend than an employee, the more relaxed and “himself” he’ll be around you! If you keep a firm hand on him, the more he’ll treat you with (probably) begrudging respect.
He’s a tricky fellow, that Fitzie! All I can say is play to your strengths–or don’t! Just have fun and relax.
Solid advice, my friend ![]()
I played to what my MC would do, she’s a soothing person overall but she managed to get a pretty high relationship with them at 70. They even said they liked me though whether its in a romantic sense or platonic sense ![]()
There you go!
I love that the game makes it hard not to have fun. Even when you’re making the “wrong” choices. Especially when you’re making the wrong choices. It’s a philosophy I’m trying to bring into real life–that it’s not the end of the world when something goes wrong, because the right people won’t care. That you can have a good time, even when you’re having a bad time.
Or something like that. ![]()
Yeah, after stressing out from my first playthrough I can confidently say I can look back at my past mistakes and laugh through it all. Though I am a perfectionist and prefer to “win” games as much as possible. RL is already as hard as it is ![]()
The small patch that went out/is going out is fixing lots of little errors, including about 25 typos.
Millicent now always has the last name “Chamberlain” and not sometimes “Smith.” It’s the “Rose and Thorns” committee, and not sometimes the “Roses and Thorns” committee.
In more substantive matters, the game notices if you nickname yourself “Chimney” if you have a chimney phobia or “Eels” if you have an eel phobia.
I hadn’t realized that you could have all three phobias. Now I know you can. So I have rewritten the scene at the arena where you are confronted with your phobias to account for all three showing up at the same time.
Fixed a few continuity errors if you accept the bathrobe in chapter five, and a few moments of repeated text in chapter six.
The Noble Gas who has a single line in chapter Seven named “Pellinore” is now named “Pellam” because there is a major character named Pellinore in the next game.
I have slightly tweaked the physical description of the Spud Nugget brothers, Murray and Jasper, and significantly adjusted the physical description of Harlow in chapter eight, as I figured out more clearly what they look like.
What about Fitzie Anti-Cupid telling off the mysterious benefactor? I seem to recall that was in the code but not in the actual game
That I have to do a bit more work on, so that’ll wait for a future update, but it’s definitely on my list.
How do we activate the anti Cupid Fitzie or have Fitzie have a crush in the MC?
Fitzie having a crush on MC: lots of little instances where it can happen, starting from the beginning of Chapter 2. Saying that you’re having an affair or planning a honeymoon while liberating the pearl at the hotel in Chapter 2 is an easy one. The task of moving the table in Chapter 3 is a gold mine/minefield of occasions where it can happen as well.
Anticupid Fitzie: Simply have MC express interest in a different RO while Fitzie had a crush on them. You’ll know if anticrush Fitzie happens when they start talking about how Gilberto’s a spy/Vyv is writing a tell-all/Tabby has ulterior motives during the cab ride.
Should we be worried ? ![]()
Ooh
… thanks for the info
but I wonder during the chapter 8 walk the person who walks with you is the character who has the highest relationship with you ? And does the crush Fitzie develop happens in the middle of the game or can it be activated at any point of time ?
