There are reasons why a person who doesn’t support slavery may have chosen to fight for the confederacy (family, state loyalty, etc), and some slaves were forced to fight for the confederacy. I imagine they did not support slavery.
I imagine there were also pro-slavery union soldiers, considering the draft was a thing (and also just racism). This dichotomy is not as neat as your comment implies, and that’s why I think its important to discuss.
Honestly if I were writing this game I wouldn’t include a Confederate route at all, but that’s me.
I know, but I still maintain that the PC shouldn’t have to be anti-slavery, especially if they’re playing as a Confederate. Should the Confederate PC have to be pro-slavery? No. Should they have to be anti-slavery? No. Although, this is just my two cents, and it’s your game to do as you like with.
I’m thinking we can discuss that topic more once I put out the W.I.P, I think it’s something that should definitely be discussed in further detail.
Hopefully I’ll be able to provide you with a good amount of action, there will be stats, but I’m trying to avoid a massive magnitude of stats. The strategy will also be rather smaller scale considering the position you are in, the highest number of soldiers you will be able to command will be a platoon (If you have made Sgt. and your commissioned officer has been killed or otherwise put out of service). There will still be moments of high intensity combat, especially within the major battles.
That is very true, back when I was learning about the war in virginia, I was taught that Robert e lee, didn’t support slavery, but he fought for the confederacy because he family was in virginia
Been working on a couple projects for fun. I have a few in the pipeline and was hoping I could get an interest check from you all on which you would like to see next. Please check the ones you would be interested in playing, you can select more than one.

Another poll question, Images in Hosted games:
I like them, they add to the game.
A few images are OK as long as they are within reason.
I don’t like them, they tend take away more from the game than add.

Games with Romance.MC Relationships in particular.
The game should have some kind of romance element.
The game can have some romance, but only if it fits with the story.
I don’t care if a game has romance or not, if the story or mechanics are good, that is enough for me.

Feel free to add comments or to change topics. This post can be used to delve into what you want in hosted games in general.
Hey buddy… i want to take this opportunity to congratulate you that the Great Tournament 2 had reach 50k download in google play store, which is a great achievement for a paid game
Life of Mercenary had reach 10k on its own as well…
Hence thus far, all your games had been successful, wish you continue the momentum
I would think your skill in writing romance interaction is great, as this is the talking point especially in great tournament 1 and life of mercenary … hence if you add romance interaction in your future games, it would help further boasting the interest out there
Hello hello. Because I have multiple motivation issues I’ve got another idea for a story I want to pitch. This one is in ancient Rome.
“The Lost Legion”
You are a Decanus, a lowly commander in the XXIV Legion, “Jupiters Chosen” (Iovis electi). You and your legion are sent on a conquest to a mysterious uncharted island north of germina, only to find a mysterious never ending fog and monsters that would only dare exist in nightmares. Will you be able to save the Empire and gain glory for Rome or shall you and the XXIV be forced to kneel before the power of long forgotten god’s?
So I posted in here last year regarding my WIP, Toronto Misfit Wrestling and I can now say, I have officially started to write the prologue for it.
Toronto Misfit Wrestling is a story about “Deathmatch Wrestling”, which is a form of Professional Wrestling where the whole aspect is “hardcore”. Weapons are used and encouraged, blood is drawn, and injuries are apparent.
Unlike Slammed! (Which I drew inspiration from), this story will be 100% adult only. There is going to be some very grim scenes, and some scenes which will wow you.
I don’t have an ETA on Toronto, but if you want to ask me questions about it, I am an open book
The story will follow 8 different Deathmatch wrestlers and their story in the one night Deathmatch tournament, the story will be based on. As such, each character will have its own RO and plot points. You won’t be able to have custom characters, unfortunately.
Like I said, inclusive. I plan on having at least one transgendered and one non-binary to play as.
Relationship wise, each character will have their own ROs, so some will be gay, some bisexual, others might be too interested in shedding blood to have relationships…
After a bit of lurking, both before and after creating an account on the forums, I’ve decided to share the little slip of a game I’m writing (as in, the planned wordcount for the project being just above the minimum for publishing).
Quick Summary
The current working title is “Galatea in Disgrace”, set in a desolate, post-apocalyptic west where magic and old technology are functionally the same.
Play as Galatea (or choose your own name, if you’d like), a recently Raised person back from the dead, and explore the world you now live in while navigating relationships between your fellow Dead, running errands for the Living, and uncovering the truth behind a sinister plot to begin the apocalypse anew.
I currently have about 6 LIs planned of a variety of genders and orientations, a few different genders for the MC, and a handful of (hopefully) meaningful endings.
Hi everyone! I’m Bubs, an avid game player and a longtime fairytale fan. ‘Away With The Wind ‘ is a game about you, a young amusement park employee who discovers that the Monde Amusement Park’s fairy tales aren’t just stories - and that the fair folk are far more sinister than imagined…
You thought you knew the park better than anything, but as the friendly surface begins to crack and unexplainable events begin happening, you’ll need help dealing with vengeful spirits. Fortunately - or maybe unfortunately - there seem to be a band of fae seekers that might be inclined to help you.
I thought it would be an interesting idea to bring the classic fae lore into modern day. I love games that combine fantasy with everyday life, and I also want to incorporate a healthy touch of mystery. Theme parks are also a very interesting concept to me, and a setting I would be very excited to write about.
Planned so far:
Play as male, female, or nonbinary.
Play as gay, straight, bi, or asexual.
6 planned RO options. (Three guys, three girls)
Modern Fantasy
Customize skills, appearance, and personality.
It’s still very much in the planning stages, but I do want to know whether or not anyone would be interested. For now, feedback would be very much appreciated. If there are any questions, please ask! Thanks~
