Iām not sure what the premise would be but seeing that this universe is not so dead fills me with hope of embodying an MC that was the product of a laboratory.

Well, the main change is I would like our Experimentee to escape of their own volition as opposed to being randomly dropped out of the sky.
Also, perhaps meet some other individuals. Like some of the main cast meeting the MC inside the lab for instance. Or on their way out. An early bonding experience lol

These concepts have been swimming in my head for a while, but since theyāre still pretty new, I estimate a demo of sorts for one of them will be coming out in a few months at the very least. Still, Iād really want to know which one would draw more interest!
Iād also like to say in advance that both of them automatically have the player character gender-locked to be female with the love interests mostly being male. Both, if ever completed, will be released totally for free!
- A fairly short dark fantasy where you one day wake up on the forest floor in an entirely different world with nothing to your name other than the clothes on your back andā¦the newborn twins next to you? Whereād they come from? Nevermind that. A town nearby doesnāt hesitate to take the three of you in. But itās almost as if the universe doesnāt want you to have a moment of peace, and you start to suspect that thereās more to your circumstances. That your life (and the twinsā) may be in danger. Planning to have a common route that branches off to routes mainly focusing on the 3 love interests and one ātruthā route. First demo will include said common route and one of the LIās routes. After that, the others will be released individually, with the last LI and the truth route being a double release.
- A warm, fluffy, slice-of-life retelling of Cinderella where youāre a part of your high schoolās track and field team vying to compete in a pretty important track meet that could change your future! Story and gameplay are influenced by shoujo animanga, K-drama, and the Persona series. The cast is larger and there will be much more content, so I think releasing it when itās 100% done would be better instead of slowly updating a demo now and then. There may be unrelated sequels set in the same universe retelling other fairytales in the same style.

If you want to release it for free, you might have to do this under hobby projects. I did ask HG about releasing a fully non-commercial game once, but it was a no-go.
Fantasy is a more popular genre here, so if itās interest youāre looking for, that might be the way to go.
But these days, Iāve seen more people trying to push out slice of life WIPs, so there might be increasing interest in this genre on the forums, but I canāt say whether this applies to the Hosted Games marketplace.
Anyway, writing is tough. Pick what you enjoy writing first.
There was one recently, so itās not impossible. Iād assume thereās some criteria though.

Personally what I really liked was how it was written and handled our main character as well as the feeling of strength you really got from our actions, as long as thatās intact, you can do whatever you want and Iāll be on board
Silic was neat but we didnāt really spend enough time with the rest of the cast for me to really judge them so I guess you can feel free to do whatever on that level.
Another thing I really liked was seeing Silic shapeshit in real time to fit our preference, even if they always seemed more like a woman to me (maybe Iām just biased due to the Mystic connection).
Donāt think I have much else to say except I am very much interested.
Itās a change that could work but it raise a lot of questions like: Why now and not before? Why do you even assume the outside would be any different since the lab is all you knew? Where are you going after escaping, why and how do you even know?
The advantage with the random air drop was that it was someone elseās plan and they were in a position to know all those things and even control where youād end up without you needing to actually know anything so you can start learning once free.
Thatās interesting but I feel it could take away from the āuniquenessā and āsolitudeā aspects of the lab prologue, since at the end of the day, despite some of the doctors basically being your parents, you were a lab rat and when there were no tests going on, you were just alone, with mostly people who didnāt even see you as human and that played a lot into your motivations and why it could make sense for you to just jump into a shady situation just to see the doctor who was essentially your mom.
Making connections while still in the lab would take away from that IMO and it would also make the lab seem a lot less secret and thus raise questions of āhow come X didnāt know about a powerful Freak like you? If Y could be there, then surely they had access to enough infoā

Love the critique, much appreciated. I am resisting my interal need to lore dump everything ive been stewing on. the biggest changes are to the world.
Though the introduction to other characters in or beyond the walls of the lab setting is something i may play with.
Also consider the lab may be safer than outside for some reason.

After finishing Last Dream, I am eager to embark on a new endeavor.
I want to create an HG based on my novel Sancta Sanctorum- the Rebel Saints, published in English by Outland Entertainment.
It is a European modern Urban Fantasy setting where the Saints keep Demons at bay. Holy Relics are compelling artifacts allowing to ācreateā Saints.
As the MC, you join a secret organization that wishes to use the Holy Relics to save the world ātheir way.ā
In a world full of sin, what is right? What is wrong? Will you remain in the secret revolutionary sect or join the new Church?
There are many ROs, moral choices, cool fighting, mysteries, demons, and Saints.
What do you think? Would you play it? Would you change something?

How many are we talking about? I think romance in Last Dream was pretty limited. I wanted to romance Midori, although the plot soon made that impossible.
Is this a linear game like Last Dream, or will moral choices create some sort of branching?
What does this mean? Is it just fighting scenes in the narrative, or are you introducing a combat system?

I have no idea right now.
I always try to do my best in the little time I have to write.
When writing games will pay my bills, I will gladly make perfect games and promises I know I can keep.
At the moment, I can only promise I will do my best 
And I will try to make this game even better than the previous one.
Nevertheless, I hope people will like what I wrote so far. And hope they will like what I will write in the future.

Hello all! Iāve been lurking the forum for some years and decided to come out of my shell a little. I started this idea back in 2022 after binging TWC and FHR and many others and thought Iād give it a go. Since the end '22 though I havenāt been able to put as much effort into the story until earlier this year and progress has gone really well and I feel Iām finally in a place where Iām comfortable enough to share. (Iām not good at summaries so I hope this is okay)

Genre: Low modern fantasy. Thriller. Horror. Romance and friendship.
Youāre just another 30-year-old whoās stuck in a dead-end job in a struggling economy. Up until now your life has been relatively uneventful. That is until a seemingly ordinary package arrives in the mail bringing the supernatural right to your doorstep and opening up a side of the world you had no idea existed.
Amid the chaos it quickly comes to your attention that a powerful underground cult has its sights set solely on you. And as if things couldnāt get any stranger, the sudden reappearance of your estranged identical twin feels almost too convenient to be mere coincidence.
With the help of an infernal private investigator, youāre going to get to the truth of the matter, whether you like or not.

Demon ā infernal
I dislike opposing personality stats so none are planned at the moment. Instead there will different types of tracked choices, and other choices will be for flavor only.
Also because Ciar is a lesbian she will be locked for some players which made me think about adding another RO but at the same time thatās a lot of coding to consider. Rhea could be the other RO but there is something in her storyline that may make that very unappealing for some.
(*)This would also have a lot of code to consider. Iām not trans so I also donāt want to misrepresent what it means to people who are.
While the overall story and what happens to MC is quite dark and depressing, and the attitude MC has is being chosen by the player, what I want to emphasize over the story is overcoming hardship. Despite set backs and irreversible negative consequences outside of MCs control there is still hope and that tomorrow is always a new day. With the help of MCs new friend of course :3
One more thing! While in my mind Folie is 2 books it can and probably will be a standalone, unless thereās demand for a 2nd book. For the standalone some things will inevitably remain a mystery.
