How many are we talking about? I think romance in Last Dream was pretty limited. I wanted to romance Midori, although the plot soon made that impossible.
Is this a linear game like Last Dream, or will moral choices create some sort of branching?
What does this mean? Is it just fighting scenes in the narrative, or are you introducing a combat system?

I have no idea right now.
I always try to do my best in the little time I have to write.
When writing games will pay my bills, I will gladly make perfect games and promises I know I can keep.
At the moment, I can only promise I will do my best 
And I will try to make this game even better than the previous one.
Nevertheless, I hope people will like what I wrote so far. And hope they will like what I will write in the future.

Hello all! Iāve been lurking the forum for some years and decided to come out of my shell a little. I started this idea back in 2022 after binging TWC and FHR and many others and thought Iād give it a go. Since the end '22 though I havenāt been able to put as much effort into the story until earlier this year and progress has gone really well and I feel Iām finally in a place where Iām comfortable enough to share. (Iām not good at summaries so I hope this is okay)

Genre: Low modern fantasy. Thriller. Horror. Romance and friendship.
Youāre just another 30-year-old whoās stuck in a dead-end job in a struggling economy. Up until now your life has been relatively uneventful. That is until a seemingly ordinary package arrives in the mail bringing the supernatural right to your doorstep and opening up a side of the world you had no idea existed.
Amid the chaos it quickly comes to your attention that a powerful underground cult has its sights set solely on you. And as if things couldnāt get any stranger, the sudden reappearance of your estranged identical twin feels almost too convenient to be mere coincidence.
With the help of an infernal private investigator, youāre going to get to the truth of the matter, whether you like or not.

Awa is confident, intelligent, and headstrong. When she sets a goal she sees it through to the very end. Sheās not one to open up to others easily, and much less to people who have a normal human life span. To the few friends she does have she is loyal almost to a fault.

Ciar is passionate and protective, the first to crack a joke to try and lighten the mood. She has an aura of unwavering optimism even in dire circumstances. She is wholly devoted to those close to her and tends to hyper focus on the good in everyone around her even if they donāt deserve it.

Demon ā infernal
I dislike opposing personality stats so none are planned at the moment. Instead there will different types of tracked choices, and other choices will be for flavor only.
Also because Ciar is a lesbian she will be locked for some players which made me think about adding another RO but at the same time thatās a lot of coding to consider. Rhea could be the other RO but there is something in her storyline that may make that very unappealing for some.
(*)This would also have a lot of code to consider. Iām not trans so I also donāt want to misrepresent what it means to people who are.
While the overall story and what happens to MC is quite dark and depressing, and the attitude MC has is being chosen by the player, what I want to emphasize over the story is overcoming hardship. Despite set backs and irreversible negative consequences outside of MCs control there is still hope and that tomorrow is always a new day. With the help of MCs new friend of course :3
One more thing! While in my mind Folie is 2 books it can and probably will be a standalone, unless thereās demand for a 2nd book. For the standalone some things will inevitably remain a mystery.

Hello! Iāve been lurking since 2017, but I wasnāt sure how this old-style forum worked, which got me a bit confused. This is my first post (or reply?).
Iāve been messing around with CSIDE lately and wanted to share my story idea. Hopefully, this is the right place.
The setting is magitek, so itās sci-fi, but instead of tech, you use magic. For example, imagine fighting a dragon in a flying car powered by pixie dust, or something like that.
Youād play as a golemdroid, a magical automaton (instead of a gender selection, Iād have the player choose their clothing), who serves a noble girl dreaming of joining the adventurers guild.
The adventurers guild is filled with superhero-esque people with unique powers who take on commissions.
As for stats, Iām thinking of implementing a traits/perks system. So, instead of numbers, you get traits. For example, instead of āCombat: 100%ā or āCoercion: 100%,ā you might pick the trait āMurderous.ā This trait would mean you automatically win all combat encounters and intimidation checks, but you could be barred from taking the āDiplomaticā trait. I think this approach would be more immersive.
Inspirations: Fallout:New Vegas, Steel Rising, Green Hornet, Batman, Tally Ho! Black Butler, My Hero Academia, a bit of Warhammer 40K, and isekai anime.

Having done the research on this, if your neck doesnāt snap on the initial drop, you suffocate the rest of the time, possibly with a crushed trachea. EASILY survivable, as thereās plenty of time for someone to do some rescuing.

We need more of this in IFs. Honestly. I love me some fuckin Isekai man. I do have a bit of an issue with her age. Youāre gonna need to find good reasoning for her to still be eligible as an Imperial Consort if sheās 22 before she enters the palace. Based on the research Iāve done, most concubineās to be entered the palace between the ages of 15-18, even if the ruler didnāt actually sleep with them until they were adults. (but Iād suggest doing your own research on this too, so that you can figure out how you wanna get around that! Itās a fantasy story, Iām sure thereās justifications!)

So, itās a bit barebones. Havenāt really explored it too deeply yet but I really wanted it to be romance-focused like my main WiP. Thatās all their similarities though since I kinda envision Jinx Cam! to be more comedic (almost to the point that itās surreal) in tone, while also still going ham with the horror. That said, Iām highly interested in exploring the phenomenon of parasocial interactions and their effect on and hold over internet figures, just in a more paranormal setting.
Thatās about it! For those whose attention have been piqued, Iām interested in your thoughts.

Current day, though I think a fictional country thatās customizable in terms of location and everything would be best
I always like political stories, so when do you think we could see a demo? In a few months or a year (god I hope not, but story making is hard so it is what it is)
So will it have a fictionalized ideology or will we be able to choose the ideology
So my suggestion is, how about allowing you to customize the MC lifestyle, especially the excesses of luxury that come with being an āevil dictatorā?
I already have some ideas.
