damn thats some heavy stuff with the whole mc being used by theyre family. is magic very prominent in this world? like are we dealing with everyday people doing magic or its more an obscure thing? anyways i like it. cant wait

Magic is an important part of the world. Not everyone can use it in a casting sense but it can be mined in a similar way dust is in RWBY.

I have to say Iām interested in the basic idea, but the form death being a truck is a huge turn off for me as it reminds me of some the letās just sayā¦lower quality isekai anime around.
Maybe it would be better if it related to family somehow, like a kidnapping for ransom they refuse to pay or something.
Of course, your story, your rules though.
Frankly, since the MC apparently ends up in a completely different world anyway, my own tastes would tend toward something incidental like a traffic accident than an unnecessarily overdramatic situation like kidnapping gone wrong.

i do agree that the usage of being run over by a truck is somewhat kinda bland now but id have to agree with @FabricSeat that the form of death be something more normal since being transported to another world is kind of very unusual already. although being hit by a truck does make chuckle a bit.
Yeah death by truck is a bit bland on the isekai death scale, but I tried to make it somewhat interesting.
Youāll just have to see when I eventually publish the demo. But its understandable if you still donāt like it.

Would we be doing any actual detectiving? Because my biggest complaint on Wayhaven is that you donāt get to detectivate at all.

im not really one for detective style stories but i can see something here. question about the ex fiance, theyre purely there the same reason bobby is there in wayhaven i assume? no possibility of romancing them? is the mc ur normal average human? possibility of being able to have a gun perhaps? is it set in modern times?

Thatās pretty much how I try to play every romance, if at all possible, since Iām cupioromantic. Though generally with the understanding that weāre not exclusive, if thatās an optionā¦
Interest check:
Soft sci-fi, but reasonably researched.
You play a robot. Your gender is widely customizable, including agender/genderless. Your appearance can be customized. Your body can be as humanlike or as unhumanlike as you want, in form and function, including the option to be a robot dragon.
There are dragons. Theyāre friendly. There are dragon ROs.
There are also human ROs. There are poly routes.
Story involves space travel but is moreā¦āliterary sci-fiā than space opera. Primary focus is on exploring what it means to be sapient, discovering yourself, making friends, navigating diversity, and seeing one or two weird alien planets.

Hello everyone! Iāve been working on several stories, but I found one that really resonates with me.
Some of the main concepts of this story were the result of me going āhey, this concept I have for one story is boring by itself. Same goes for the other. Why donāt I just try to combine them?ā As a result, Corpse Reviver was born.
Corpse Reviver is essentially an angsty revenge story where you play as a morally ambiguous character titled āThe Angelā who roams the land with their brother, The Devil. It will be a dark fantasy game with a mix of modern and medieval themes. I may also incorporate a smidge of futuristic elements (because every time I play FFXIV and I see the regalia mount I cry a little on the inside and get inspired).
Synopsis
The story takes place in Eldris, a world where itās natural inhabitants are forced to coexist with entities called Lifelines and Binders. These entities suddenly appeared after Nephilimās wrath and are fabricated with an essence, yora, which seems to flow through all things living. Theyāre on the constant search for humans who are ideal vessels for storing the same essence they are made ofā¦ and most of the time, this symbiotic relationship is unwarranted. Theyāll do whatever it takes to survive while on conquest for self preservation.
You and your brother are an anomaly in this world. The day you regained consciousness was the day you were quick to realize the powers you both possess. While you are an immortal basin of essence and healing, your brother is less than mortal. He is a corpse in constant need of essence to function, but he also needs it to amass power beyond what any creature in Eldris should be capable of. The two of you make a dangerous pair, seeing as how you are an infinite generator of essence and he is an immense user of it. Will that power go to your head?
With fractured memories and a strong feeling you lost something, the two of you set out to discover where you are and what happened to you.
However, lots of eyes are aimed at you and your brother ever since your reawakening, precious vessel.

Your brother. He is almost always brooding and heās an extreme misanthropist. However, his feelings are quite the opposite when it comes to his kin. His familial passion for his kin prevails through his hatred.

The sister of Ashuri Pyan. She is steadfast, sisterly, and always on the search for redemption in the hopes of being accepted back into her homeland. The name Ashuri rolls off her tongue like a hissing snake.

A Royal Huntress who is looking to snuff out her prey. She is domineering, professional, and violent with her catch. If something will benefit her people, she is more than willing to bend her morals to achieve it.
[ Fenris Alphenstein ] The Unhowling Wolf - Male [RO]
A traveling mercenary who is mute. He is humble, independent, and an excellent performer of the arts and literature. He has recently began his travel alongside Remilia and Cavaādren.
[ Sorin Laigar ] The Phoenix - Male [RO]
The man who has an obsession with collecting tokens of gratitude. He is constantly at work, wise, and stoic to the bone.
[ Eve ] The Arbiterās Shade - Male or Female [RO]
A wandering soul who is seen, but never found. They are cunning, aloof, and passive upon most situations. Why do they stare like they know you and Devil?
[ Yonas/Yubiri Cavaādren ] The Floating Lotus - Female or Male [RO]
A freeloader until their end. They are quite relaxed, perceptive, and full of banter. It is a mystery how Remilia hasnāt kicked them out of their group yet.
[ Crych ] The Fox Hawk - Nonbinary [RO]
A person well accustomed to the wilds. They are skittish, resourceful, and a good listener. Get too close, and they may just snap at you. Are those fluffy fox like ears I see?
[ Melodious ] Melancholy Melody - [ NPC]
A strange Lifeline that seems content with taking the bare minimum of essence from you. They keep humming a sad tuneā¦
[ Ashuri Pyan ] The Mocking Sun - Female [NPC]
The sister of Lunaris Pyan. She is well equipped with her words, playful, mocking, and clear with her motives. Underneath her extravagant nature lies something more.

- Play as a man, woman, or nonbinary individual.
- Seven confirmed romance options. Depending on how things go, there may be one or two more further down the line of development.
- Will you be merciless, or will you show compassion? You may even influence or prevent the death of someone by your brotherās hand.
- Fight humans, Binders, Lifelines, and whatever wants to pick a fight with you.
- Find your method of combat: do you prefer to fabricate weapons into existence, manipulate essence to fight, or transform into an entity made for combat? Or do you use all three methods?
- Share your feelings with a melancholic Lifeline, Melodious.
- Make fun of your edgy brother. Embarrass him.
- Possibly more features to comeā¦

holy shit that sounds fucking cool. the art is fantastic. i love the design. i already love the brother. its nice take a step back from being a badass with cool powers and take a more passive role. i already dig it. i cant wait to read the demo. got me pumped up. how modern are we in on the story? like are phones and guns already invented? i assume that even if were still immortal, weāll still feel pain? how fast can we heal ourselves and others? i can already smell the disapproval towards whomever we will romance. immediate protective brother mode activated. did i say how i absolutely love ur art? my god is it gorgeous. another question i notice from ur artwork, does the mc and daemin have only one wing? i thought it was just of the angle but from ur timelapse, it seems not. are they ably to fly?

Thank you so much! An early thought of mine was letting the player decide whether or not they wanted to play the power role of Devil or the immortality role of Angel. However, I realized it would have complications down the line in terms of character building, so I opted to throw a curve ball by making MC stay as an immortal with regenerative/healing properties instead of the other way around.
And yes, even though MC is immortal, they still feel every ounce of pain. Chopped off limb? It will grow back in time, but it will hurt likeā¦well, like your limb got chopped off. Meanwhile, your brother is fine and dandy depending on the amount of yora essence he has. As for healing yourself and others, the efficiency and toll you will pay is dependent on how much you use itā¦I think I will reveal more about this at a later date since I donāt want to accidentally give too much yet when I havenāt finished the WIP demo! 
In terms of guns, phones, and other forms of technology, they have been invented and there are a select few areas that are more technologically advanced compared to others. A good comparison would be Final Fantasy, pretty much.
In the artwork, yes they only have one wing. Initially, I gave Daemin two branches of wings in his first artwork I made for him.
But later on as I was redrawing his design, I thought it would be interesting if MC and Daemin only had one wing. They can use it to sort of lift themselves higher off the ground compared to a jump, but otherwise they canāt fly by themselves. Thereās a good reason why they only have one branch of wing eachā¦
