The Oracle: Downfall
Synopsis: Play as the hero “Oracle,” plagued by visions of the future as a new Villain, Ravagine, rises that threatens to turn the entirety of the City of Kolossós on it’s head. No one knew it was possible for someone to be able to strip the powers from another, until they made their debut through taking out the famous hero, Lilium. Your team was given the responsibility of helping to take them down, but to do that first you need to find them.

Key Characters:
Oracle (28, Gender Selectable)
It’s you!
Nova (36, Male)
Nova is the oldest member of the team, a bit cynical but also caring about the people involved in his life. A tactician capable of generating light and flight. While you are not privy to much information about his personal life due to his guarded nature, you know that he is from the Heart based off the way others treat him. He has warm sienna-toned skin and black straight hair cut usually in a slightly overgrown quiff style, when he isn’t wearing his cap to cover it. His costume covers his entire body excluding his eyes, and is comprised of several layers, with a white, silver, and crimson scheme.
Galvanist (29, Undetermined / Gender Selectable)
Able to manipulate and creating electric current [including lightning, fun!]. They are generally positive and well-meaning, though there is an underlying tension there… They do not care as much about having a separation between life and work, and their name is pretty publicly known as a result. They have very deep cool-brown natural skin, and tightly braided hair in an almost wave pattern trailing down their head into short tails. Their costume covers everything from the neck down excluding their fingers, and feet with a cerulean and black colour scheme.
Unity - (24, Gender Selectable)
Full of nervous energy, despite being designated the team’s primary public orator, they appear to struggle with the act. Having a pretty face isn’t enough to know how to communicate after-all, though they try to make up for it with their empathic powers. Being the youngest of the group, and still in the process of getting their powers under control, at times they can unintentionally broadcast their feelings onto others. At particularly intense times, you can even hear invasive thought as though it were your own. They have light olive skin, long straight black hair that is tied back in a secure bun. Their costume is a sleek version of Heart formal-wear in gold and cream, though they have said they’d prefer something more pragmatic.
Vermillion Chatelain (32, Gender Selectable)
A civilian with journalistic intent, be they able to publish it or not. They seem to know more than you in some regards, a sobering reality. They take an interest in your team and the investigation revolving around Ravagine. They appear careful to only be around when you are alone, though for what possible purpose you are unsure. They have dark, sharp eyes, with their most distinctive features being their thick brows and slightly notched bubble nose. Their hair is curly, reaching their ears before tapering to a near shave at the back of their neck, and they have a light amber skin-tone.
Masque (25, Agender)
A vigilante shifter working within the Pits, they appear to have a complex relationship with the upper side generally veering towards resentment. As someone who knows their way around the Pits better than anyone, you end up needing their help if you want to find your villain. Being able to shift their own appearance in addition to the general perspective of the Pits, they have developed a general apathy towards gender. They have pale, naturally rouged skin, light pink hair, and a distinctive set of tattoos around their neck and peaking on the tops of their hands. Their costume is light navy, orange, and black, polyester and faux leather, closer to Pits street clothes than the durable high quality mesh material of corporate Suit costumes.
Ravagine (?Thirties?, ???)
A villain with directly malicious intent, why do you get the feeling that there is more than just malicious evil behind them? What could possibly justify their actions? Nothing, surely. For one, you have only seen them in their neon green and black suit, sleek and obscuring most of their key features. Pragmatic, no frills, though even if there was you are unsure you’d get a detailed view without it costing you something dear.

Note: Everything is currently in early development and apt for change, particularly right now. Still, I want to gauge interest. I have been working on this project for the past few weeks. I am still working on Shengzhang, but I wanted book of a different genre to work on when I am in the mood to do something else. Also, I’m not planning for all the major characters to be romance-able, only 1-3. I fully encourage feedback and thoughts though! Please feel free to share what you think .
