I, the Forgotten One Release Thread (1.2)

If you have good number of archers in your army then i’d suggest forgetting about the encirclement and going for the defense+archers kill box strategy. You can then keep your heavy cavalry in reserve, send it to help at the crossing, and use it to wipe out broken and fleeing enemy by the time they’re back. The kill box can be crazy effective, with something like 20:1 kill ratio and that’s without Formation Fighting.

THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUU

Archers and veterans are the best. Do we even need light cavalry?

Yeah, Give Mira and her child despair in process like once Mira did to Child!Marshall . That is my goal too .

Is it possible to tell the nobles of Sobik’s death, and still get the Atming encirclement?

I have not found a way unless you kill the foraging party and don’t search for the missing soldiers, in which case don’t engage the archers (try to have 3 units) + disperse + dismount + lots of infantry and maybe .5 to 1 light cavalry. Also depends a bit on Belos Sally. Very painful.

Don’t remember if anyone suggested this, but another light cavalry thing that makes sense is giving you a small number at Krorid automatically, instead of the 0.5 heavy cavalry. It makes sense that jungle writers aren’t going to be heavily, armored knights, but rather more scouts. that and decreasing the overall cost to two points, should be enough, no need to replace the heavy cavalry that the baron gives you.

Good point. I had a LOT of heavy cavalry without much effort but barely any light. They were just waiting there in the reserves

It’s called showing kindness and restraint and not belittling the guy. Something people seem to have a REALLY HARD TIME grasping it seems…

Let MC be king on your fucking city. Wow … Sobik will be proud of us haha :joy: :joy:

But you don’t have the authority, and the soldiers will not listen to you

They would, given you are the Marshall. Yes, while the King does have authority, the reasoning of keeping the King safe from harm would superseed the Kings own commands, as the safety of the King would be first and foremost, as with any smart and knowledgable Commander or Marshall and Soldier for that matter would understand.

He’s untrustworthy and a jealous snake. Already betrayed us once not taking that chance again, also it gets rid of Mira so win win for me.
