I, the Forgotten One Release Thread (1.2)

would it be better to let the nobles know about the kings death? is their any benefits if we did not tell it to the nobles?

I think Noble interest in who have change to win in this war. Yep Noble maybe not follow Marshall .But If Marshall have very hight change to win in this war I think they don’t care . War is just like gamble .IF you choose right side, you live ,If you choose wrong side , you die . Simple

I believe if you don’t tell them you have access to more heavy cavalry at the start. If you tell them they flee the castle with their retinues.

I know one is where you die in the final battle and Rade takes over the kingdom but is assassinated by Darin as vengeance for the Marshal.

Lada is great. I think the short asides from the ros perspective really add to it. Otherwise you wouldn’t see the moment she realizes she’s approaching the Marshal wrong despite the reciprocation. Rare for such an arc to exist, a lesser story would have just had her throwing herself at mc. I just wish they had managed to consummate before she went home. But the seperate povs where love is casually used referring to the other were sweet. So casual I’m not even sure the author intended that duality I appreciated.

I loathed her to start with. My gay Marshal was as cold and closed off to her as possible and made it very clear how unwelcome her attention was, but she just wouldn’t stop. Her apology towards the end did redeem her somewhat in my eyes though.

…it may have brought up some uncomfortable memories of times in my own life where women didn’t want to get the hint.

How the hell does one get Mira to even apologize…

Unsurprising I didn’t really view it that way, nice to hear a different perspective.

You were a singer, right? Marshal HAS to be a singer. For that scene alone.

Baritone. Just like mine irl. I imagine the Marshal is better, I don’t get a lot of practice.

There is an opportunity after the Battle of the Altming(?) where you are in the medical tents and Elya sends her to find you. It’s not an… apology, exactly, but if you are receptive to it she expresses regret about your experiences in the Border Wars.

My MC spent so much time learning to not give a shit of what others think and to make his own choices that this doesn’t even register on his radar anymore. Who needs those fingers?

Nailed it. My Marshal’s dream life is probably a cabin in the woods with Lada, being househusband while she is doctor to nearby village, nobody knows who they are beyond rumors and hearsay. Man deserves peace, quiet, and love.

My mc did find her supremely annoying for a while, he did try to be diplomatic. When it is not Mira we are talking about he tends to be nicer or at least more diplomatic and less blunt with women, unfortunately for a while Lada was very bad at taking a hint. Still her personal bravery as a surgeon and the apology made it all right in the end.

Anyone who wants to be treated as an equal partner by someone not named Milon or Lada in a marriage.

There is a difference between not giving a shit and voluntarily placing yourself in a position where you know society will see you as inferior and most spouses and their noble families would relentlessly try to take advantage of that fact.

Swords > social stigma

I plan to use the dishonored crew of the army to my full advantage. Gonna kill that honor tradition just like I killed honor among drunkards.

Actually , real reason I go to betray route ,I want fuck Soblik’s Legacy that is Elya.I don’t want let his legimated daughter happy as queen.the best way for fucking his legacy is Marshall become queen/king.

No offense, but you’re the real villain of the story.

We already have the confirmation by the author that Rade+Marshall would lead to a very short route. So it’s either Rade screws over the Marshall and kills them, but we know from the POV that Rade really wants the Marshall to join him, so it’s the second option - they take the city in a quick manner, they won, the end.
Plus we also know, that if the Marshall makes mistakes Rade capitalizes on them and he can win. Elya and the rest would never have enough time to learn enough to beat the man who taught the Marshall how it’s done.
