Personally i’m hoping we’ll get brushing Elya’s hair minigame.
•Brush it upwards
•Brush it downwards
•Cut her hair
•Grab and throw the hair out the window
•Shave her hair
•Let the barber do it
I am not sure about management stuff. Most of that will be the Queen I been assisting on getting her very capable. She was, just not soldier types.
I am looking forward to being able to romance! Then book one would be much better to go through more than couple times.
I don’t think we’ll get any sort of true management simulator, definitely related to recruiting forces and tactics, but kingdom management is probably just going to be us trying to shift our Sister one way or another on things
Or in Endings 3 and 4, ruling (and fighting our sister, in the case of E3).
Given that you can get the crown for yourself by doing things such as indirectly getting your sister killed, then I’m sure there must be a kingdom management aspect to the sequel if you become the monarch.
“Turns out managing a kingdom wasn’t as much fun as backstabbing your sister, so you dumped it all on Darin.”
I would not be that interested in micro managing. Isnt that what that Daria game does?
I would prefer to defer micro management. Some management is fine like first one did. Thats ok.
I can’t ever kill sis. So that will never become my issue. I always found strange the Priest wanted me to be Queen but not sis. He was confusing to me.
Nah not that strange if you know the logic and motivations behind it.
I figured he would find it easier to manipulate sis than a seasoned warrior.
You’ll probably be able to make some base decisions about where you want your kingdom to go, assuming you managed to hold power by the end of it all and it’s not a burned wreck, but I really don’t see any sort of true micromanaging, mainly because programming it in on top of all the other Military stuff would just be a nightmare
A warrior who knows nothing about government management, politics, social graces, or almost anything that doesn’t involve chopping people into tiny pieces.
I believe it has less to do with manipulation and more with sis’ age and experience. The priest would most likely prefer to have someone older, more experienced and confident on the throne than someone who just became of age and wasn’t even tutored to be the monarch of a kingdom.
That is definitely true on that notion. Since the Marshal helps her, if they do, on being capable.
I’m not sure how much I really agree with that. He strikes me as somebody who really only cares about himself and raising his influence within the church hierarchy. By that logic, somebody much more malleable who can give him whatever he requires would be preferable. And frankly, there’s a legitimate argument to make over which of the two options is better for that.
Sis I think would been more malleable. He doesn’t know the Marshal that much compared to sis.
Either way. Lets get back to talking about the sister queen path.
I wonder which issues may come up with getting the church on my good side while trying to get dishonored.
I wouldn’t think it matter to much for my run. According to B1, I won’t be accepted. My biggest secret being a lesbian vs not believing in God. IF I get to romance in B2. Depends on what choices are given. End up single til death in story to join the church or partner up and not join, or if they care once the new war is won? Lots of ifs.
An strong advisory role in Elya’s cabinet, “personal donations to the church”, there’s a lot they can ask for.
I know I don’t like him.
