I’m surprised to hear someone pick Community College Hero over Heroes Rise. College Hero was great, don’t get me wrong, I guess I was a little sad I had to play as a regular human.
I mean, there’s going to be an improvement path in which you can gain superpowers.
So not all hope is lost.
Choice of Romance has three books/parts inside it, instead of splitting it up into a different app like choice of vampire or Lost Heir. First part is free, but you have to pay for the next two. Like Zombie Exodus.
@LaReveuse
Got it. Thanks for the info. I definitely will try out the other two stories.
Thanks again!!!
I really like that you guys like these stories. I try to tell ppl in real life and like one person was like yeah i totally read choice of robots and another was like you should play Sorcery (btw that is not a book persay but it is very similar in some ways … it has emphasis on the choices and is text based but has strong RPG style elements and maps to it. very cool… i sort of got stuck when i tried to play the entire third episode over again to get ALL the serpents but whatever… u might check it out it is definitely good but it is not text only, just mostly text
I will give Sorcery a try.
You are awesome!!!
Thanks!
TBH I hated sorcery no major story but I think many liked it so just read comments before buying.
@DUNGEON_MASTER
Will do!
There are illustrations and sounds effects though.
I’ve killed all of the serpents by the way, like, 13 days it took, I think?
Really? Eh, love that game! Don’t know what you mean by major story really. You’re the king’s champion and your mission is to find the crown of the kings, the game’s got 4 parts. The first one’s kind of the start of the adventures, meeting characters and realizing that even the smallest choice could doom you. Yes, there are a lot of ways to die in the game. Awesome combat system, the game also did a good job when it came down to moral choices. There’s no black and white options here, you must do everything to reach your destination place, so there’s no evil and good choices. The second games a lot harder, you have to journey across Khare, a city filled with traps and intrigue. Once you reach the exit to the gates, you’ll see a small…surprise there. The third game’s a really cool one. This time, you’re in a wasteland and your mission is to kill all of the 7 serpents which serve an evil archmage, but all of them are very strong and each has its own weakness. Thus, exploring is more fun! The fourth one? Never had the time to play the fourth one, but I hope I will do soon.
Yeah omgosh well… did you ever try the Lone Wolf series? You can and
will die but we used to read it in paperback back in school when
Dragonlance was the big craze… You play the final Kai monk and you get to
choose survival or psychic powers that build up as you play including an
actual inventory… eventually I found a monster in the second actual
series I couldn’t beat easily, but I will always love choosing sixth sense
and mind over matter in the first book (thanks for saying i’m awesome. ur
awesome.)
I played kai and finished it ( it’s not complete but played it upto the chapter where it last was maybe 4-5 chapters were incomplete )
Great game ( I tried again and again to get the best profile/alias )
Yep I don’t remember game app styles but story… that’s a different thing.
No, I have not tried the Lone Wolf series, but I definitely will. I will let you know what I think. You haven’t failed me yet
really? you got through all of the uh “magna-kai” sequel? nice
have to warn u, you WILL die in my opinion makes it somewhat realistic but
i DO like building up my powers and entering graveyard tombs for no
apparent reason you can breeze through the first book and THEN see how you
like it. Just yeah this one is designed to kill u
I’ve loved Lone Wolf for a good thirty years now… but Zakhan freaking Kimah is broken and someone needed to tell Joe Dever so. The Chaos-master is a barely beatable challenge; Kimah is just ridiculous.
Edit: and good call on Sixth Sense & Mind Over Matter as starting stats.
Last volumes of lone wolf are just bad hav3 the balance of a Mr potato flying a tie fighter. And flow is dry.
how’s it going … any progress?
I am also a huge fan of Lone Wolf from way back, so much so that I wonder if my subconscious was thinking of Sommerlund when I planted roots in Somerville, MA.
I have finished Flight from the Dark (Kai Series). It is a rather interesting game. I’m working on Fire on the Water now.
I am curious as to how the game will play out. I must admit… I am able to sleep, eat, work without being obsessed with the game. Unlike Magium (I didn’t want to do anything but read)
If you think of any more recommendations, please send them my way.
Have you played So, You’re Possessed!?
I do not give apps/games a five star rating very often (Magium was one of those) but I gave this one five stars.
