I cant seem to figure out how to win the fight at elder cato’s funeral ive tried three times and each time i die would anyone be able to help perhaps with what the hidden stat checks are? or just some tips like which weapon is best for which stats thanks in advance.

Strength, charm and intelligence helped me with that. Choose the sica and shield. First taunt him. Then parry. Fight offensively. Throw shield. And that’s how I won.

So not all is lost, as Waywalkers will also only go on Steam once its third and final part is released. Though that would make me wait years for Gladiator, which also kinda sucks. 
Excited for the next part as that’s probably when my mc can start to plan his revenge on that Kraterous brat in earnest, hopefully.

Ack indeed, no Steam. Again. 
I suppose there is a reason for it, but I really wish it would be available there. It is my go-to platform, even since Google scrapped their old store.

Or we could advocate they incorporate a download function on the website versions, so they can be played offline and modded too.

Thank you so much! Hahaha yeah. I had a lot of fun/pain trying to keep the accent consistent and people do say that it can be hard to understand at times… I guess that comes with strong accents hahaha

Hahaha well. I guess it also depends on me getting my lazy ass to write out the game and HG’s turnaround time. I’m planning it out, and it definitely involves wrapping up some of the loose ends in the first book!

It actually depends on what you do. For the fight itself, you can win no matter which path you take (noble/peasant), but you’ve got to be a bit sneaky about it for sure. Beyond the fight, you can’t really control it though!

Not sure if this has been addressed or not, but there are quite a few instances where the text is referring to a male MC while playing a female one.

@nauhziy since there is going to be a 2 book is okey the ending, the problem was that after the “kidnapping” of our ro when the mc talks with cato or brutus about the bet in the last round of the colosseum, he dont ask about her and act like nothing happened?, also winning in a colosseum and not getting “manumitted” when is julius caesar known for always making the peasants happy and the tradition in rome to respect that special custom.
(blackmailing the mc in private about killing his ro whould have been more acceptable for me, i guess is the setting you want for 2 book so i dont mind at all)
and btw i did think it was nerina fighting us in the colosseum xD

If I understand it correctly, the only way to play it on PC is via this website, unfortunately.
If they offered downloads again I would buy all my games here to give them all the money, but I need - or really could use - an offline alternative.

Thought I’d point something out: the achievement Gullible says that you ‘have to be fooled not once or twice, but four times’.
The achievement itself is achieved after paying the poll 3 times, not 4.

Nope.
We really should advocate for that again, I didn’t even know this was once a feature, as I used to prefer the Chrome store when it was still available. But if it was once a feature I really hope you’d consider reimplementing it again.

This is getting pretty off topic guys and derailing the thread. Probably should move it to a non game thread for further discussion.
Also- I don’t ever remember off line ever being a feature on the main site store. I always remember having problems with it when in patchy internet areas and when I had to turn data off when I used to have a very, very low limit.
