The day-one Night Road DLC pack just added two new clans. The pack that came out the next year was pricier but added a lot more content.
According to the Steam page, this day-one pack seems similar to Night Road’s, just adding two new tribes.

I’m fine with it, personally. I feel like whatever the game+DLC price ends up being will still be a fair price for 1,800,000 words of content.
Also extended the Aila memories scenes which gave bonus skill points and one discipline point

As if I needed anymore reason to buy this as soon as it comes out
The outrage is uncalled for. Let Kyle and the Choice of Games profit from this beastly and beautiful game. They’re even giving leeway by having those purchases free for a reasonable amount of time. The game is 1.8 Million words, 1.8! And the demo is evident of its quality.
So what if you cant buy it early? Buy it in the next Steam sale then. It’s just tribes, nothing too important, and it’s not that expensive (I live in a third world country so when I say it’s not expensive, it isn’t.)
Feeling so so about early DLC. Guess I’m fine with it as long as it doesn’t get outa hand…
Surprised they’re not advertising the word count more though. That kinda number makes me more likely to buy the game. Will there be some sort of save feature with this one?
Based on the beta, the answer is a definite no.
Not really fan of FOMO tactics advertised here, but i blame Paradox for those.
Also, here’s a save manager for steam:
Highly recommend above, I use that shit with everything. It was weird to not have stat editor with the demo XD
