@Rebelmaiden True. The ending is rushed. Truth is this is my first attempt and I just wanted to make something short. Right now I am working on the longer version(i.e killing or capturing Derek). I will post the link as soon as I complete the ‘rushed’ version. I plan to expand it only after hearing your opinions.
Just out of curiosity, did you choose ‘Death’ in the game?
You mean when I got to confront Shane? I chose to remind him of his misdeeds.
@Amith_Shaju That was smart of you to make something short. A lot of people start off with a lot of complexity and eventually it becomes a chore for them to progress so they end up abandoning their project and get discouraged.
You’ve finished something, learned a thing or two or three are free to use that knowledge to expand or move onto something else. Good job.
@Rebelmaiden No. I meant when Shane offers you a choice of life or death when you are in the cellar. The game ends if you choose life but you don’t die if you choose death. I just wanted to know how many would follow that path.
@friendzone Thanks.
{leader} looked at the men who had returned.
“Eleven men left for the mission. Only four returned. One of my best men died today. We were supposed to attack but instead we were the ones who were attacked. It can mean only one thing. Betrayal. Naomi, collect all their mobile phones. Find out who they have been contacting. Edward, check their rooms thoroughly. I want to know who is behind this treachery.” Naomi collects all the phones. She checks the contact lists. But there is nothing.

Link to new version. Do give feedback. Right now can’t put it on top because of ’ permission error’.
@Rebelmaiden I just couldn’t find the ‘build’. Maybe its because I deleted that part. Could you tell me where it was?
I got an error in which the game wouldn’t tell me what my opponent is doing in a fight.
@stsword If you only concentrate on strength then you can’t predict the opponents move. Try increasing the intelligence.
I saw something about a catherine the supermodel choice…then it goes to kate…are we still with kate?
I thought Kate could be used as short for Catherine.
I didn’t concentrate on strength, I chose strength first and then intelligence second, which was good enough before.
We’re outlaws now, shouldn’t there be a choice to just break into Sam’s house?
Okay am I the only one who thinks the stats work in a kind of wonky way?
Being athletic makes you better at shooting and worse in a street fight. You're far more likely to have a boxing ring in a gym than a shooting range I imagine.
Sniping is applied math: gravity, wind speed, movement of the target, etc, the physical component of shooting is hand eye coordination, right? That's more video games than gym.
And considering how many freaking phone numbers are in the game, I'd find it really helpful if the list of known phone numbers was on the stat page. Having to make notes on a game, I find that rather annoying, and not exactly helpful to immersion in the game.
@stsword Thanks for the input. By the way time in the gym helps increase the damage caused by a punch. And when I started writing the game there weren’t so many numbers. Will try to make a list.
Okay now that is out of the way, storywise, I have some recommendations.
While it’s obvious this isn’t a romance game, I’d flesh out that side of the story. Working things out with Kate, having to choose between love and duty if you fall for the gang leader’s daughter, romancing Sophie, those are some good story opportunities.
I’d also recommend either incorporating the negotiator or shootist thing into the story or just dropping it altogether, as it is it only shows up in one single scene of the game.
If you are going to make us a shootist, then we ought to be making trick shots: shooting guns out of hands, etc, and if we’re going to be negotiators we ought to be able to talk people into things.
@jasonstevanhill Has “Gangs of Old Camp” been released? Or will it be released on 9/12?
@StarWarsMaster @that1german I think what Jason meant was that it will surely be released on 9/12. Its no typo as it was recently edited. As far as I know, the game is ready for release.
