From Ashes We Rise [FAWR / WIP] Upd. 30. Oct

For the villain path i would love to kill some Characters off like example Crow in a dramatic, bloody, heartwreacking way…at least for Crow, when my MC takes of his mask and smirks at him  I would also love to cause mayhem! And take hostages only to end up getting permanently rid of them even after i get my hands on the bail money xD Overall i want to be really evil and merciless and crush everything.

For the hero path well…i cant really see my MC as a hero sooo He will have to fall down to the dark side. xD or well if he is a hero, hes totally teaming up with only Blackbird and taking down the villians. :smirk:

You can already cross that off in your list
That scene I have already done, and was one of the reasons why I made @Nathan_Faxon, @Snowpanther, @HuntedSnake and @UmbraLamia (more or less) cry. These guys are like… my part-time test-reader? ^^°

Anyway, that scene is done XD In both ways, btw.

That wish will be granted! Even though I haven’t done it yet, it will be done

Somewhere some hundreds posts ago, that thema was already been discussed, though I don’t blame you for not searching XD Wouldn’t want that to do myself.
But the answer is; Yes. Our MC can change from being chaotic evil to being a well behaving hero, as well as the other way around.

Huh, never saw that option before… Though it’s a nice thought. I will give it a try someday!

Well, if I’m a hero then I’d probably end up helping Troy more often or something.

Convincing others to turn away from the darkside seems like a must.

I usually end up a hero. I can’t seem to play as a villain.

I’ve mentioned it before, but I also want a hug. It can be a joyful hug or a comfort hug or an accidental hug. I don’t care. Just a hug would be nice.

… The anti-hero path. (not one of the options, but :stuck_out_tongue:)

I’d usually go for the hero path, but with the things my poor MC has gone through I simply don’t see it as a viable option at the moment. As the story progresses my anti-hero MC will most likely switch to being a hero if given the chance, but before that she’s still got some healing to do. She’s too emotionally unstable to do so at the moment, but hasn’t slipped far enough to snap and go full villain.

Anyway, since I can’t imagine any MC of mine going hero at the moment I’ll vote for the villain path, simply because that seems the more natural choice.

So on topic: I’ve read through the story after a fairly long time and have to say, it’s one of the best WIPs I’ve read so far. So good Job.

Oh for a villain I want to be able to become something like the queen of Kalathol’s underworld, not just let the world burn, but becoming really influential and even feared by other villains…Oh god, I want to build my own league of super-villains! :grinning: Motivating to stab each other backs while I stay in power. (Could be a good way to get a rivality between MC and Wraith too, after all there can be only one Queen!). In short I want the possebility to become evil not just for the lolz, or revenge (though I will always welcome that options too) but simply for power, money and luxury!

For the hero path I would like the same thing @RedRoses already mentioned: Let me become the superpowered almoner for the lost souls! (And also the hugs, but that’s something I want for all my MCs…well, maybe not for the most evil of the evil villain MCs…okay, that’s a lie everybody deserves a hug)
And I want to work more with Glamour as hero! Come on, if every path has a character that’s already established in Kalathol as gateway character/contact for MC, it should be Glamour for the hero, also, because she knew the first Blackbird, soo maybe someone else besides Crow or Troy to guess who they are would be really nice.
Also I wonder how she thinks about the (implied) way Nero changed after MCs death, that as far as we assume would stand in contrast to a MC staying loyal to their hero ways, despite the things that happened to them.

Villain path obviously, who cares about puny heroes. They suck.

Anyways I’d like to see horribly mutilating people close to crow. Maybe even having an evil base with henchmen. Or even a cult! Playing a character based on an old god from lovecraft novels I’d really appreciate forming a cult around me. An evil cult of course.

i would like to think that if you stuck to being a hero your basically doing it because the crow is the only family you have granted you feel hurt/betrayed/pissed that they “let” you die or just abandoned you but i would think that even though you feel that way you still love the crow so you don’t purposely try to hurt them and your trying to make them proud by staying to path they thought you even though your emotionally damaged by what happened, and just longing to be home happy and safe again.

i think that because well the mc is still most likely in the mental stages of a teen then an adult even though years have passed since they died xD

going through the villain path well… it wouldn’t be to hard to think that they left you to die and now your taking your vengeance out against them but if you wanted to be the most feared villain then i don’t think making your own super villain organization would really help out, i would think you’d be better off killing heroes and villains alike and just being someone no one like but at the same time making sure no will cross you to keep villains and heroes from teaming up to take you down.

i could play either role xD although i as a person feel better playing as a hero or anti-hero since that’s how my personality is xD although that being said im a great villain as well we i want to be haha xD

Anyone have that Vine Facelook link thingy? I kinda haven’t played this in a while and i miss that crazy little plant person.

Do you mean her portrait Wraith drew?

Will we get more design choices over our clothing; or just colour?

Also, maybe let the path be more organic and let your alignment develope as the story goes on, rather than picking one from the get go. A moral system could decide if you are a Hero, Anti Hero or Villain.

Personally for the Hero path I want a sidekick and a statue. For the Anti Hero path I want to be hunted by the police as well as the Villain path (duh).

I feel like Crow never did anything wrong. He had no superpowers and he wasn’t even in the building when MC died. I wonder what the MC logically thought Crow could do save her. He may have tried to help, but he didn’t have the super human strength to lift a building off MC. It would have made sense to wear a bullet proof best when every one has guns, but no one in this universe thinks about that.

For the tell Crow you’re alive path, I would like a choice at how much to reveal. I’d tell Crow about the scientist and how he might be in danger because they know everything about me except my birthday ( which probably means I was abandoned and left for dead in a dumpster as a baby, but Crow found me and took me to hospital so they don’t know my real birthday. The MC was then adopted by new parents.), but I wouldn’t tell him anything around fake bird and I wouldn’t tell him about my powers, scars or new secret identity. I would probably stay with Crow and work at his buisness for long enough to get money for my hideout, costume, and weapons and then leave because an adult can’t live with their parents forever and I’m too jealous of Troy to live there.

Can we play the game without Crow ever finding out about our secret identity?
I don’t like hugs.

For the hero/double agent path, MC could have the option to seduce Crow and the heros to gain their trust while secretly commuting crimes and no one expects MC because they’re a “hero” or MC could betray the heros later.

For the true hero path, I still want to be mean to fake bird ( you let Vine be mean and slap MC and she’s a hero). I want the option to seduce Crow because he doesn’t know who we are. I want to be able to try to reseal villains and maybe get a plucky side kick of my own.

A bug for you @Wraith

Next to him, $!{crow1} seems to be pleased by your reaction, saying, “Better.” as if he just praised an unruly child. This is… weird? Huh.\r","

The Crow in my story is female.

Another thing:

Aiming, you shoot at !{crow1} just for {crow_him} to avoid the attack be jumping sideways and out of the path of the bullets.

I think it should be by instead of be.

I thought the MC blamed Crow for replacing them. Like they feel like Crow considered them replaceable and didn’t think their bond was special.

There you go! Be it nut-free, nut-filled, chocolate-chip free/-filled or anything else you may want! Magic of the e-Cookie™!

I too want to turn Wraith, if possible, at the very least to be a anti-hero like my current character - who may end up being a hero in the end any way, depending on Things and Stuff(r)… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
