i just finished the demo as a vampire and i picked the vamp faction. Was leaning for it in the first place but i had some doubts. Like i want to keep my original party. And i kinda worked on keeping the vicky/megan relationship high because damn it i wanna romance her and i am bastard for that. Poor Nicky but test tube vamp baby needs a chance to fight against wolfie. Anyway damn that cliff hanger though i cant wait to see more!
@Dark_Stalker Found and fixed, thanks.
@DisturbedOne Thanks for checking out the game. As to romancing Victoria, sorry, she isnât interested in anyone else. Also, even if the original party parts ways, you will see them again.
Huh, I wasnât expecting the band to break up, I figured that if the factions are so desperate about recruiting the Conduit even if they are of a race theyâd otherwise commit genocide against if given half a chance that they wouldnât say boo about our Rainbow Coalition entourage.
Although it isnât hard to see Victoria refusing to go back home, all things considered, even if the mages are willing to give her cart blanche.
Hmm, now Iâm wondering how far the factionâs desperation goes.
Is a male human conduit going to hit a glass ceiling in mage society?
Why is it that, I seem to leave Mila to fight on her own, even if I help her. And the slaver tells that Mila was the one who escaped, but Mila will still be angry at me for leaving herâŚ
My back straightens with tension. We didnât part on the best of termsâŚI did abandon her when she was
fightingâŚbut maybe she doesnât know that. Maybe she just wants to rejoin me, no hard feelings? I didnât, she did.
I very enjoyed this demo⌠It has a lot of potential to expand into a fully developed universe. I personally found it interesting how from a very early stage you created dynamic between the main characters and the different races in the world and how they all interact. Its stuff like that that draws me in and keeps me around. Congrats on a great little demo. I look forward to playing more.
Volcanic glass maybe.
Noooo i wanted a vamp-mage romance! Okay fine wolfy-vampy romance works too
This WIP is amazing, I found myself completely immersed and interested in every little thing that happens. You do a great job with the characters as well.
@stsword If your party breaks up itâs because of your choices, not the factions insistence. In the end the factions want you with them and will accept your party members, but your party members act according to their motivations and feelings.
(When you refer to the âconduitâ you mean the connect right?) Well, there will be issues for oneâs rise to power, but as I stated you will be able to influence the culture and structure of the faction you join (as long as you put in the effort).
@AStraali If you could please tell me a little bit more, did you choose to leave the camp and find Mila/dinner? Or did you stay near the camp? If you had Victoria/Megan did you go to help them over Mila?
@Tree Thanks for playing!
@DisturbedOne Well, if it helps at all, there are other Mages to romance. (Although most of them are in the Mage factionâŚ)
@TheBum Thank you for the kind words (especially about the characters⌠sometimes I worry about those guysâŚ)
Itâs weird. I like to take the stay path because I feel bad about beating up whatâs her face in the beginning, and itâs kind of interesting to be part of an organization that isnât a school for gifted youngsters for a change. On the other hand I donât actually like the Division very much. They seem a bit Social Darwinsty, and people who push a misinterpretation of an idea on people by force really annoy me.
@Shoelip Well, I designed them to be the antagonists when I first came up with the concept of For Peace We Die. They are in essence terrorists, but by joining them you get the chance to help them achieve their goals without becoming the âbadâ guys. A lot of people who side with them (in the story) see them as the only group who cares enough to try something and the only group that cares about them.
I tried staying in the camp and checking the perimeter, always picked Mila over Victoria and even if I never met them, you always end up being in cage and thus âabandoningâ her (she escapes without you). Only way you donât âabandonâ Mila is if you go looking for her/food.
Yes, I was referring to the MC as the conduit, they are a conduit for Mamma Earthâs power after all.
Donât know why youâd want to she is probably a century or two older than you.
and i am a freaking vampire! Ahem point is magical older women rocks.
Hi! Iâve been lurking around this WIP for a long time, and I just wanted to say that I am impressed with the amount of thought that you have put into the world. I do have one question though, if people in the mage faction are born without powers, are they considered to be human like Megan? If so, then do they have power over technology like those in the human faction do?
@AStraali Iâll look into it and try to get it fixed by this weekend, thanks.
@aegis.kitty Yes, mages without (the mage set of) powers are human and have the human set of abilities. However, while the humans that are in the mage faction have that power they lack the resources of the human faction as well as the cultural acceptance leaving their level of technology far beneath that of the human faction.
That shy werewolf scout better live or Iâma be a mad cat.
Sheâs a RO, so I wouldnât expect her to die anytime soon.
But it already is possible for ROs to die?
