@MultipleChoice
Thank you so much for the well thought out answers to my questions! Also, if you were politician, I’d so vote for you! (maybe your next game can be about one
)
I’m not sure if anyone has actually done something like that lol! The closes I could think of would probably be Deathless.
The endings upon endings does seem very confusing, but I have to say, how many CoG’s actually do that? So the ends upon ends (upon ends), is no doubt a very unique addition to the game play! Something I’m not sure I’ve seen in other games (or maybe I never noticed)?
Also, not knowing the price is fine! I hope you get a good deal. A four hour game, by my estimate, would be about half the size of a normal book? Which, may I say, is amazing! Seeing as we will have multiple playthroughs to do!
A spin-off of Fatehaven would be awesome! I’m crossing my fingers for the day to come! But no doubt you want to explore other worlds, stories, and possibilities! It’s never good to get burnt out on something you love, hence why some actual books in series have horrible endings. *cough* The Divergent series! *cough*
On the note on being nervous; you’d have to be crazy not to be! Having your work read by others can be nail biting, but with so much support, that nervousness will soon turn into pure bless once everyone finishes with their playthroughs. Fatehaven, no doubt, will be a hit!
I, myself, write and get the shakes just having people I know read my work, let alone complete strangers! I’m also sure I’ll never try turning anything I do into a CoG. I just don’t feel I’d be able to write something, then redo it over and over, only each time different depending on whatever is chosen.
In the words of my favorite author, “I’m a dictator. I have to have complete and utter control over my characters or my story will fall into complete chaos .”
Lastly, I just want to say once more, “Good luck and I’m rooting for you!”, I hope FH is a success and is loved by all, though, I’m sure that won’t be the case. You cannot please everyone and as an author, you shouldn’t try! Just do what you like and love and roll with it! Anyways, sorry for my rambling and I can’t wait until the 8th.

I’d love to know the word count as well!
