There is a guide in post 3 that covers SD clues.
Their alertness is determined by if you have sd_clues <10, >=30, or else.
Kinda interesting that base on the guide, naming your villain Sidestep won’t actually raise the stat, but it is one of the requirement to get an extra “fun” variation of this epilogue. To be precise, the requirements are ((sd_clue >= 30) and (villain_name = “Sidestep”)) and ((known_telepath) and (toldmiarealname))
But that’s -20/30. They should still get a lead on you. I’m trying to figure out how I lost the last 10.
Edit: I FIGURED IT OUT! If you’re Streetwise, you automatically get a -10 at the start! Combine that with pursuing Argent as an RO, and you can completely blindside the Special Directive.
Wait I hope I’m not reading too much into this but why does it say “Main Puppet” on the stats page instead of just “Puppet”. Are we potentially getting another puppet? Because calling Ace the Main Puppet makes it sound like there might be a secondary or even a third one in the future and ending up in Step’s body at the end would make it a possibility since we’d need a new liaison now that someone else has woken up in our main puppet’s body. I have a feeling it’s not likely but it’s just something I’ve been thinking about
Anyways, when you have dinner at Ortega’s home do they always break it off with the puppet if your puppet is dating them or is there a way to make them break up with Sidestep instead or maybe even go the asshole route and continue juggling the puppet and Sidestep?
In all my playthroughs Ortega never broke up with Sidestep and instead breaks up with the puppet. But using common sense I think we can surmise that Ortega will always choose you over the puppet.
titbit, in the old dashingdon demo, if player had not enough affinity points with Ortega, he would choose to continue dating puppet and he breaks up with Sidestep. This was removed in the official realise.
