CHAPTER THREE (PART ONE) IS NOW LIVE!
hello commanders 
welcome to the even more long awaited update of eyes of shan! 56k words have been added, bringing this story to 178k words in total!!
slight hints of romance will be possible in this update, but do remember that this story will be extremely slow burn with much more to come, so please be patient with me and this story!
please do remember to delete your saves before playing since MUCH has changed since the last update
things to expect:
- deal with a hot
situation at the paradise among clouds - meet a certain physician
- attend an imperial banquet and speak with three different people
- learn more about your companions or yourself
- encounter an old rival from your training days (and let sparks fly)
- listen to the five generals’ opinions on the hae-shan conflict
if possible, please leave feedback or reviews or any errors (strange breaks in story flow, bad grammar, suggestions about story pacing, etc.) so that i can refine the story accordingly!! your feedback is what keeps this story going, many thanks to all of you and i hope you enjoy what i’ve put out

also im very hyped over the height choice now lolol i just always need to make tall women. so far im digging emperor romance/loyal shan (who’s also super resentful to haeians) route i hope there’s a happy ending for them!! even if it’s “let’s just fake our deaths and run away” tbh lmao they’re just so cute

Very good WIP. Checked this thread after finishing the demo and while I very much enjoy the game so far and am really looking forward to more, I admit I’m disappointed to see that Advisor Kwok doesn’t appear on the RO list… he is my favourite so far
although I have a feeling I will also very much like the rather suspicious leather-clad man who may or may not have some pyromaniac tendencies

It has been awhile since I have plYed this WIP and I am vsry impressed by the progress that has been made. You have done an excellent job of developing the court life of Hae and the l9ves of the Shan we have seen thus far. I eagerly await further updates.

i’m a bit late, but happy new year to you as well, and all the happiness this world as to offer! each ro will definitely have at least one happy ending, but i must say that romancing yongsun while staying loyal to shan will lead to some… emotional turmoil for your commander! here’s to a more flavourful if experience

Will the empress route have angst? I’m assuming yes since MC is basically a slave and she’s is, well the empress but I wanna make sure lol.

Summary
I’m also not making any assumptions as to the involvement in the eye trade of the man whose absence said leather-clad stranger was so disappointed by. I’m not guessing that this attractive stranger who is impressed by a Shan slave’s boldness hates the Hae empire with a passion and could be the right-hand man to a certain leader we were recently made aware of and might have known in the past and are still dreaming about. I’ve never been one to speculate after all…
Dang, i like the emperor but not his people. I shall not betray my own tribe .

I really don’t know how the mc became a commander from a slave in this case. I would understand if he/she is peerless in tactics, but this mc compare to the people around them is very fragile.
you’re right! i actually do think it was an oversight on my part, for not allowing the mc to show off their actual martial skills. i’m thinking of how to do so at the moment, so please be patient with me in the meantime

Am I tripping? Wasn’t there a section where you could sneak around a discover a Shan slave in chapter 2. Did that part get removed?
Last play through it still was there lol so ya might be? Will play again and let ya know. The option to do so still exists you likely missed it or chose the wrong choices.

i never doubted that mc is very talented in combat. imo i think you established that pretty well even without showing their skills yet (didn’t they become well-known for stopping a rebellion?). but isn’t the great hunt in the next chapter? they could show off their skills there if they’re participating

Okay thank you. I gotta see where it’s diverts because last time I talked to the lady but this time I talked to the general? And it feels like I didn’t get a choice if that makes sense.
