I generally let my type vary quite dramatically, depending on the game and character I’m playing (the gender is, however, constant). That’s how my Dragon Racer MC can have a crush on the supreme jerk Saren, while many of my other MCs will go for far nicer, more obviously “good” characters. (Of course, if my chosen RO dies… )
True, some of my other mc’s would see Saren as a challenge. This farmboy one, not so much and he doesn’t like condescending jerks who see and treat him as inferior such as Shader too.
The only guy to treat him even remotely nicely is Cassius, but he’s not a romance for guys. Though my mc still doesn’t like the whole “noble knight” act and style Cassius has got going on.
So that does make Saren vastly more wealthy than our mc’s then?
Particularly since the sponsors probably won’t be lining up to sponsor stableboys who managed to come last in the try-out races.
Im not sure but is it possible to buy the game yet? I noticed you have 10 chapters but the demo have 5 and peoples speak as if it was already released. I might be completely wrong but if it is I’l be damn happy because I’m about to have one boring day.
That has nothing to do with it. No one outside of the stables know your background. As far as anyone is concerned, both you and Saren are on the exact same playing grounds. And besides him actually coming in as a racer with extra training, you are.
@cyanide It’s not released yet, I’m hoping to be done with it before the end of the year at least.
Right it’s not as if Duncan, Saren and Shader won’t just love to tell them over a drink, eh.
So it is more of a skill gap than a wealth gap?
Still how long are we going to be a stableboy? A year or two? Cause a year of missed training and sponsorship opportunities has got to hurt.
And I think it is unfair, but removing a choice from another will not solve the problem.
I’m not against Allison being lesbian, if in the sequel there will be a straight girl I don’t see a problem.
