Gosh damn, they really do be chatterboxes though. Get a Brass dragon talking, and there’s a chance you’ll be there for a while. Brass dragons are essentially that elderly neighbor you have, who if you stop to talk to them by the door, you just know you’ll be talking to them for the next hour and a half, lmao.
Edit: There does seem to be a persistent problem with the pronouns of our warrior friend though, so that’s probably worth looking into before the problem builds up further and causing more trouble down the line than it’s worth.
Becoming someone like Terendelev is fine I guess but my MC certainly can’t live getting stuck manning the wall waiting demon invasion for God know how long Terendelev being protector of Tenabres.
From the story MC is like free spirited there is certainly more of this world that still deserve to be seen, the dream is MC will be able to do all that adventure without being hunted.
I never said it had to be a one to one obviously. I gave Terendelev as an example of a dragon who dedicated herself to protecting for a lack of better word, ‘humanity’ as a whole. Kenabres just happened to be the single biggest point of population of non-demonic life in that area, and the place where she could do the most amount of good in protecting people. If Kenabres wasn’t in such dire straits, I’m sure she wouldn’t have stayed in one place to begin with, but it just happened to be a place that would literally determine whether or not the world as mortal life knew it would continue or cease to exist hence she quite literally needed to stay there to save the world.
Her presence, for all she knew, could’ve been one of the major factors in why Kenabres survived as long as it did, essentially giving the crusade enough time to mount an offensive. In the actual TTRPG game module (Not the video game) Terendelev was actually the one who used feather fall on the player party (unlike the video game where it was someone else), making sure they survived the fall into the caves below Kenabres and essentially kept the party alive for long enough for them to survive and close the worldwound. She literally gave her life to save the people that would go on to save the mortal plane of existence.
I severely doubt our kin will ever fight a threat big enough to warrant staying in one place for the rest of their long lives in the same way Terendelev did, so our kin can be just as much of a protector of ‘humanity’ as she was, all while traveling and helping out people in multiple places. She just happened to be needed to help stop a world-ending event, whereas our kin will probably never have to do that at all.
Forgot to mention this, but seeing my MC hunting a vampire, they way she was doing it, it felt like the whole “hunter becomes the hunted” situation since vampires in most franchises are the hunters so it felt refreshing to see them being hunted for once. Especially by an apex predator like a Dragon. I would see similar stuff between vampires and werewolves sometimes but it always get reversed which was annoying so this felt refreshing.
The werewolf vs dracula fight in the Van Helsing movie was one such example of “the hunter becomes the hunted” situation and I liked it. Situation got reversed real quick for Dracula the second Van Helsing transformed, just like with the vampire in this game.
Now that’s a respectable kin, i like her even though we dont get much of her in action and an such… speaking of wich, i need to instal the game again haha
Well meeting vampire clearly mean there is other race inhabiting this world, certainly something like demons and others probably exist, MC is ancient dragon baby, there possibility othe dragon variant as well like lesser dragon, etc.
Judging by how powerful young ancient dragon can be there maybe other world ending threat like worldwound in this world.
Considering there is S, Sx, SS, SSx SSS rank there maybe other more dangerous adventurer above that rank.
The existence of “skill” certainly there is possibility of Race Hero, champion, blessed or other ridiculous blessing can exist.
It really depend on how author want to escalate this world threat level.
Most likely there must be stronger adventurers because if Gavin was born with a very strong skill already, think about equipment and more advanced’s adventures.

The personality stats is too binary. 55% pride gives you the same flavor text as 100% pride. It results in out of character narration and makes the scale pointless.
The MC isn’t really in wrong for killing through since they have been hunted for years even as a child with countless attempts on their life. I can’t fault the MC killing to scare the hunters away.
Considering this and dragon kin rights being fought for there really isn’t a good or bad path to take.
I never said it was wrong choice it was self defense, act of self preservation, personally I feel there is better choice.
Eye for an eye and eventually everyone goes blind.
I am not promoting pacifist run here, if there is dangerous hunter by all means kill them or they’ll become a problem later, but for weaker dragon slayer I think beating the crap and knocked some teeth is enough.
Edit: Made a few more AI art and got a interesting one that has these two looking like they could be some dangerous enemies to fight if they were in-game.
Well I was mostly creating the image using prompts based on my MC’s appearance. Ebony complexion, luminous white eyes, tall, athletic and the rest of the draconic stuff I could think of. Ain’t my fault that the AI keep making her look like that.
These were some of the images I made that somewhat looked good but still wasn’t accurate enough for me. The one I posted recently was just the closest one in terms of accuracy to some degree.
