Devil's Heart

I’m confused what are the specimens

You mean the species?

The Jorōgumo is a japanese spirit that can shapeshift into a woman. In this story, Jorogumo is a flesh and blood species - composed of both sexes - rather than a spirit.

The gorgon is from Greek mythology. Medusa is the most famous gorgon. At the very least, Gorgon!MC has snakes for hair, regardless of sex. Whether or not, Gorgon!MC can look something like the Medusa interpretation from Clash of the Titans is up to you.

The Church Grim, or Black Dog, is from English and Scandinavian folklore. In mythology, these are spirits that guard graveyards, particularly churchyards, from grave robbers.

The Coatl is a feathery winged serpent from South America, specifically the Aztec empire. The word is shortened from Quetzalcoatl who was a major deity in the Aztec culture.

Update

The stats are fixed and your choice of species should reflect that! Other than that, there are one or two tiny grammatical changes to the narrative.

Things to look forward for:

  • More conditional narrative text that will reflect your species choice. Nothing impactful beyond decoration, so to speak.

I’m curious…

Which species did you pick?

  • Jorōgumo
  • Gorgon
  • Church Grim
  • Coatl

I can’t progress past checking the cameras. Coatl species, if that is important. Doesn’t seem to matter if I actually checked any cameras.

Thanks for that.

I’ll see if I can fix it!

Edit: Fixed! Just forgot to include the *goto commands.
