@Patch101
It’s supposed to take you to the ending scene, but for some reason it seems to be redirecting you to the title screen. I fixed it, so it should be worked properly now.
@Kloud
No abilities you learn will be deleted, but you will have only access to five or seven in the battle scene. You will be able to switch out abilities through the inventory screen.
Back with a little information on how the game will operate:
When you complete the game, your stats don’t reset. Your data will be saved so you can use extra material. (For instance, if you ended the game with a Level 70 character, you will get a “badge”, then if you start the game again, you will have unlocked a class. There will also be new areas and secret dungeons that will increase replay ability).
You will earn gold by killing monsters, there will be no “quest system”.
I also added a new “Troll Spellsmith” class, and currently working on 3 new classes. You will only have the base 5 classes if it’s your first time playing. Selecting “Member Classes” will give you a list of classes with requirements.
Is the Level stat going to function like WW:U’s montage stat?
e.g:
Your sword skill is 35, to defeat his opponent you must have a sword skill of 40, but since you are a level 15 (Every 5 will plus three in this example) you will have a skill increase of 9 therefore allowing you to defeat the opponent.
@trollhunterthethird
Kind of.
The only time variables will be used is when choosing an option to gain an advantage over your opponent (if it’s a player), otherwise, you will be put directly in to a battle scene, and if your health, stats, weapon, and armor are good enough, you’ll survive. In basic terms, the higher the number, the better you are.
Hmm I got an error after being paralyzed, is that an actual error or just where the game ends so far?
And okay, did the game really change that much from when the PC betatested, or was his beta testing halfhearted? I’m assuming the former, but it could be the latter too.
A little update, Chapter 2 has been completed. Every single error as of yet has been hunted down and removed. I also implemented some of the new Special Classes in to the class selection screen. Chapter 3 will be released shortly.
As for those of you who are wondering, I plan to release up to Chapter 5 to get a little more feedback before I begin updating this game solo. I will still post on this thread and give updates on how the game is going, and accept feedback and requests on the direction this game will take.
*NOTE: SPOILER ALERT BELOW, DO NOT READ IF YOU WANT TO EXPERIENCE CHAPTER 2 FOR YOURSELF*

Huh, as an astral samurai I wasn’t able to do anything when attacked, as a speed based class shouldn’t I have been able to dodge or parry or something?
I get an error when surrendering, also I got an error when as a pirate chose to ignore the paralysis effect.
@stsword It says “They fight with speed unlike any other tank-based melee class.” so while they’re fast for a tank-based melee class, I don’t think they are anywhere near as fast as a Shadow Ninja. Plus we’re like, level 1 or something.
I really like this story… definitely keeping tabs on its progress.
@stsword
Thanks for telling me about the errors. There was an accidental space at the beginning of the sentence.
Also, while they fight with surprising speed, you have to realize that they’re still tank-based warriors. Taking the fact your fighting with a Shadow Ninja–one of the fastest classes in the game–and the person your fighting being a higher level than you, you won’t be able to so easily dodge it. Also, it would be pretty hard to parry a kunai. It would take a surprising amount of precision, one that other classes, such as Monk Ancient and Shadow Ninja possess.
Okay, and by the way I’m quite amused that you’re including pirates as the natural nemeses of the ninja, lol, what with the “like paralysis would affect pirates” bit.
Oh and was the error with the pirate and the paralysis supposed to have been fixed, because I still got it again?
I have to say the “Cat and Mouse” game is quite underwhelming, instant death.
And I have to say a save system to say, when you get up to creating your player would be nice, save some time.
