It would explain why he seems to have so many superpowers.
Just finished the whole thing, and wow that was awesome. Top three even. Your attention to detail and even the tiniest things makes this game better then some of its 3D counterparts ive played (you kno wat you did, Pillars of Eternity). It just feels so real. Now, i was disappointed that its nigh impossible to Ace the game as a detective or sharpshooter, but ill settle for all A’s in the first book and tolerate 3 A’s and a C in this one. Oh, BTW, are you going to have our mc unlock his desired branch early and then, when the time is all dramatic, have him get a second branch at the end of the final book? tho that might be code intensive.
I cannot seem to achieve just the tip achievement.
Choose Crook as RO, then at massage parlor accept the rubdown, then ask him to “pleasure” you.
He met Mega Cat, doesn’t mean he knows “his” name or face. Considering that Prestige’s students also have a wide variety of different stories about him, there is a high chance that even students from Prestige do not know him that well.
That plus everyone seems to agree on the fact that “he” is a super secretive person. That being said Mega Cat= Dean Tolly do seems a bit too far fetched for my taste.
But speaking about trust, I previously said that the Salazar were the ones I trusted the least, but in the meantime I’ve played Fallen Hero again, and then back to CCH 2. It made me appreciate the threat of the Elsworth base on a whole new level. The Salazar and Mega Cat all seem to have different agendas, but they have been very active about it (we learned more about Booksmart’s plan, it seems, unless Mega Cat’s plan is to just let the 12 alive to regulate the villain eco-system).
But the government and their base, well that’s another story. It would make sense and would produce a lot of drama if, in the third one, just at the end of Issue 10 for exemple, they would come out of the shadows ad<n put a plan into motion that would redistribuate the cards entirely, since the Speck 7, Savior and possibly Pretige (if not aligned with the base) and the 12 would be completly blindsided by the new challenger.
That also makes me reconsider dean Tolly in a whole new light, even though I was aready kinda doubting her motives after Nil’s warning . I mean if you knwo of her background, you know that she is probably highly competent, and was put in charge of low grade-zenith community very close to the base, allegedly experimenting on developping zeniths power. From there, assuming that she has connection to the base or the government would not be that much of a leap.
Or maybe I should stop plaing Fallen Hero, it makes me way too paranoid towards governments…
Just some random test answers for the HELL Quiz. Couldn’t find it anywhere else so I just decided to post it here.
In the second book, how/can you get your powers, I’ve gone through twice and IDK how
You can’t
However, there are implications that you will get them, if my memory serves me right.
I enjoy reading all the conspiracy theories. The good news is that I’ve given myself a lot of options. The bad news is that I’ve given myself perhaps too many options.
This weekend, I plan to set up my CCH3 scene files, startup file, etc… I’ve decided how to start Issue 9 for the three different paths and I think readers will like it. But I have a slew of other projects I’d like to spend time on as well.
Some of my projects are obviously much bigger commitments than are others, but they all take writing time. Which two (please pick two exactly) would you the most interested in?

No matter what, I’ll move forward with the Patreon RPG sheets and the summer fan art contest. Those are so fun and don’t take a huge amount of my time anyway!
Is the MC power really set on making other Zenith powerless by touch or are there any other powers being considered?
@drAwkward, I have not set it in stone, but I definitely will just be going with one Zenith power. The “dream power” selections are red herrings. And yes, I have been leaning towards power negation for a long time, because it makes the MC a huge threat, even to top heroes/villains.
A bit late to the party, just want to point out that aside from the magnificent story, this game have some pretty sweet artworks! The illustrator is really skilled
Your first game was my second game for IF and it inspired me to try to write one. This game picks up well and kept me enthralled throughout. Ive never had a harder time not choosing a superpower route!
@Winson09_Drs, thanks so much! And yes, the artwork is rather sweet. Our very own @defenestratin did all the art. I really liked how she worked different color schemes into all of the interior covers. She’s also doing all the Patreon RPG sheets, although in a slightly different style.
@Harroc, but I am A dad. Don’t make me ground you.
@Omegareaven, which route did you take? I need to ask more people that question. And I hope to see your game thread when you get far enough!
also: please tell me I’m not the only one who got ‘yep, totally a couple’-vibes from hedy and cal…
If you do go through with that power, would you still go with the “touchy-feely” limitation? I feel like that would be too much of a risk for a little advantage. I say this because I’m assuming that most Zeniths we’ll be fighting can pretty much hold their ground against the MC even without using their powers against us.
@Eric_Moser
Wouldn’t removing the powers of others become problematic for the MC
once everyone knows his
power? It would mean they would have to kill you before you can reach
them, which is not that hard to do.
Cheers!
