That’s a good policy. Because I have been spoiled hard by other companies that almost told the endings in the highlights or in interviews at launching talking about endings and such. I am normally don’t mind spoilers in books or films as they aren’t really interaction for my part. However in role playing or videogames and If in general. I want go as blind as possible.

There’s a gender bug in the demo. If childgender = genderpresentation then the gender variable never gets set and remains “unknown”. As a result checks for gender=“male” and gender=“female” will fail. For example, you’ll get the non-binary name list instead of the male or female list to pick names from.

So U download It I love the art work. And so far i like first chapter I gave the five star raiting but still confused by some stuff. So to people who have played i have so questions to see if i should buy it or not. I have seen charisma has no achievements attached while intelligence has attached like half of them. Same with choices sofar games same trying really really really hard and bluntly FORCE me to be a scholar. There is no choice doesn’t try hard become me a bookworm. There is no Charismatic stuff like I love dancing or theatrical stuff or other typical stuff … However each five lines (an exaggeration but you get my point) a example of tons of intellectual activities reading … philosophy etc…
I felt that my type of player based heavily in subterfuge and charisma what considered far worse and almost with no real options.
For instance in the ball talking with the matriarch with 70 charisma I ended looking like a servant due my options were or use charisma to be stupid and change theme I have absolutely no interest in change or choose a very uncharacteristic out of place uncharismatic be fake praising that even worse Even doesn’t check my charisma level and gives the impression my character forget how do a curtsy and give compliments in five seconds.
I know it sound hard my criticism but game atmosphere and flow is really interesting and same with universe And the description of corset flock and all the stuff is really accurate same with the mourning colours. And that’s really rare.
Also my character is demon racist? Because I found sexy the demon description however my character in game say she consider them weird and almost ugly… Like WTF I should not judging them in base if they have horns or eye horns. I should love a option to be more neutral about them and even find them sexy. As i genuinely find the description sexy.
Still I probably will buy this with crossing fingers that the use of charisma get improved later on game because I don’t want to play a shy social disgrace intelligent at least in my main lol.

Personally i never really observe the stats and didn’t feel i should be influence by those stats , but just to pick the choice i prefer… in such way, i really can enjoy the flow and atmosphere of the story … i manage to romance the 3 different ROs i like in all my playthroughs and get the marriage happy ending too
And about the Daemon, the Lord of Daemon likes me very much and we had a very nice tea conversation , he even ensure a safe passage for me going back even though i refuse to betray the Town No racist towards Daemon at all, but mutual respect…
The is also the forest fairy who are quite cute and may be an ally towards the end
After attempt playing this 4 times in a row and end dying Without even a real proper death scene. You have- spina you have been grabbing the end… 4 times in a row. No romance anything after give my life to save the damn stupid beauty girl…
Game book is well written well I suppose it is due I always die in same damn place and even with stats at 80 I WASN’T ABLE GAIN EVEN ONE SINGLE SPINA IN FOURTH ATTEMPTS . Text is very florid saying how everyone loves me and loves my party and how i make a astounding impact… blah blah NO SINGLE SPINA I GAINED and I have no seen the end of this and I am so damn frustrated that i will stop trying. The difficult level is BONKERS for a charismatic player …

If you want to gain spina bargain with the fairy , there are lots of way to gain many spina there
You miss lots of hidden gems… especially the multiple ROs for marriage or secret affair 
I roleplay I will day before sell my life to a wood fairy. I have charisma of 85 and the girl is so for me. Most she does was touch my hand and i told her i liked her … no avail. Only the cheater hippo wants bang me when i will never cheat.
Then I organize the party of century with all great society NO GAINED. I achieved the votes in my favour and give a brilliant speech… no single gain…
I discovered ploting and helping philosophers …no single one gain… NO SINGLE ONE. save the girl from the buy marriage no single gain… It is absolutely all lost no gain.
Text specifically says my actions and success in high society will give spina. I will not gamble or go in a race with zero sport so is lost my soul or die…
We are not selling soul to fairy, it is called mutual agreement :-)
Not sure why you want to gain spina, my route was similar to yours and i save the town and marry the damsel in the end :-)

Because I end Dying with -5 spina and become a falling and no girl no anything only a bad end scene… That could been far more epic. If I have to replay all over again.
Edit Now more seriously and trying to help here cog. If I am frustrated Imagine one casual that found that it has to replay all over again. I don’t really care as I will replay later calmly.
However casuals will downgrade ratings instead of come here to tell the issue. Maybe adding something of gaining in the party i lost 5 and i gained anything tangible maybe less the demand of spin in the opera I tell that because as it is limit all that is not metagaming and mix max. I mean dying once twice okay… But 4 in a cog… means there is something that could upset casuals.

The strength of Weyrwood is its interaction plus conversation with numerous characters , i like the conversation with the Daemon and Fairy
the relationship with the childhood friend is one of the most well written plotline

I hate the hippo with all my soul like she is married then only does is trying to bang me hard at each five seconds even with his husband there. I had no opportunity to say her my blatant opinion about her behaviour
Edit Just to be clear I hate the character but is well written and well character development. I say that too all characters seem to be well planned. I miss more options to present a clear opposing behaviour and be more direct in pursuing romances except with the cheater marry woman I don’t want bang with… that was rather adamant

I have played the demo, and I was excited about the demo, since the author mentioned being influenced by some of my classic authors.
Not so much anymore…I thought based on that it was going to equally focused on relationships, and not just “forcing” me to tolerate one of the female RO’s flirting.
Also I see already 2 set up female RO’s with a choice of a gender flippable RO and not a single set up male RO( at a least in the demo). In addition to that, the focus on that female RO (that I already dislike) and how she tries to repeatedly bangs us, although she’s married and my MC is not attracted to females it makes being fairly annoyed and not enjoying the whole reading.
Does this changes in the full game? Does it focus in other relationships? Are the other relationships complex and interesting? Can we romance a (male) Demon, because I’m really intriqued that Demon we meet early in the demo. Can we learn more about them and being empathetic to them?
So the question is, will I be disappointed with the full game?

Not at least I don’t find it. The friend in childhood almost launches at you lol and laughing when you say you are married!! as a person that was cheated in real life I have never felt more violent in a cog game. But I couldn’t talk much as in five playthroughs four I die and fifth My ro ended being a zombie… I think the people that loves rhe friend have great experiences my experience as not cheater is all contrary. Is well written however only way to win is playing as a cheater or sell to souls

I agree, it’s really well written, but this is not enought for me in a IF. What attracts me the most is well written, engaging, complex characters and realationship, along with an interesting setting and I haven’t enjoyed much the characters (in the demo at least) apart from the Daemon, that I found very attractive and intriquing in the beginning.

Really really well written descriptions are great clothing and atmospheric tone is superb. However my concern is difficulty I had to step totally out character and choose what I hate with all my soul to see at least one the end of game. I loved the daemon character no way to romance the only character i loved. He kiss me but my character finds him ugly… Then one character married is like stalker when i choose not being attract at all. It is weird.

Such a shame, the only character I found interesting and he’s not romancable. 
I’ll give it a try, since I love the setting, but after I get over my bitterness probably.
