I think the interview was released too early? The pinned annoucement said it will be released on April 5.
According to Zach on twitter it should be releasing tomorrow!

Greatā¦ Once again confusing release date.
The original release date set for Open Season was April 5 and Silverworld was supposed to release on March 22ā¦But Silverworld got postponed to April 12 and Open Season got fastracked to March 29thā¦As to the reasons, I donāt know.

Just now noticed that in the upcoming games thread, the date of release of Open Season has again been changed to April 5 and the edit was made 6hrs agoā¦So I guess it is not releasing todayā¦
Seeing Zachās recent post on Twitter, it seems he hasnāt yet been made aware of itā¦

Though this thread was made by a staff member and it hasnāt been edited, so there is still hope for a release tomorrow. I really hope that is the case. Though if its next week, it would be disappointing but nowhere near as aggravating as the Steam vs Wayhaven Chronicles debacle.

(Unless a sleepy R.E. edited the wrong line and april 5th was meant to go to Silverworld)
If it doesnāt release till the 5th, oh well. Though if the delay is due to the ios omnibus, and this delays the Google play release also. Thatās kinda bunk, but what can ya do besides twiddle your thumbs nā wait.
I donāt think itās the omnibus app causing the delay bc they said this game will be the last one released as a seperate app.

Yep mismatched info againā¦ Yet Fobbed off with first 3 chapters to try keep people happy.
Being pushed back isnāt really an issue for me its the fact that they waited till the day before release to change it. Surely they know earlier that they arenāt ready. Was the same with the wayhaven chronicles. The common lack of openness/communication is very frustrating.

No one is having three free chapters āfobbed offā on them. Every author interview/trailer drops with the game available on the website until the trial end.
