Choice of Rebels: Stormwright (XoR2 WIP)

Ugh, I hate posting from the crappy small screen of a phone.

Will the Laconniers have continued to support the Rim rebels from time to time during our absence in the case of a jailbreak MC?

I hope that in the later games the Thaumatarch will consider making MC an ally to try and preserve the Hegemony, maybe some dual-power stuff.

We know Kleitos won’t be making it out of these games with an power, no matter what the player does. His heir will be available for alliance however, if that’s your boat.

I finally managed to finish the update and I just want to say the author cooked as expected. But thinking about it and interacting with the yeomen especially the ones working for ester cabal. The yeomen are very strong nationalists would making a cosmopolitan rebellion based on helots and the yeomen be more difficult, the helots seem way easier to mold. Ester cabal seems like there’s going to be a problem in the future.

To add on to what Apple said the heir will also be an ro

That should be very, very awkward

Havenstone said it will probably piss off about 80% of your rebel group (if you still have one to piss off by that point ) also that they like compassionate mc’ (probably since they think you won’t kill them or the Nine which would be a very very very bad guess to make with my main)

Fortunately, with her help you can probably (compassionately) kill off said 80% once you’ve allied with her!

Sadly for them I doubt any of my currently planned mc’s would take them up on their “kind” offer

“Alright Phaedra, what are you offering that I should attempt to convince my master the King/Queen and his/her allies to not kill or enslave the Karagonds?”

How I expect that conversation to go down with my main MC.

First time i heard you can romance the heir. Knowing the MC aristo i mainly play the interaction would be less love and more… “Okay pretty boy tell me one reason why i shouldn’t march on that flying palace of yours set it on fire and watch it fall from the sky and explode”

Also most Helots mc’s too with how most tend to play them

Speaking of which I do not like Usernames needs a option to call them NippleTwister

@Havenstone is there any sort of existing strain of liberation theology within the Xthonist Ecclesiarchy? We’ve certainly seen there is a humanitarian strain running through the likes of Hiera Olynna and Hieros Ulmey, but I’m thinking of those like Archbishop Hélder Câmara and the more outspokenly revolutionaire clergy of our times. Obviously these voices are silenced by threat of Kryptast and other Hegemonic authorities, but I’m curious how much of a strain demanding the liberation of the oppressed (the truly downtrod in this case, not just nobles chafing under Karagon rule) there is. I’d say someone like Linos, but he seemed rather uninterested in the plight of the poor and enslaved, only Shayard as a nation (of nobles). Is this a kind of priest we’ll be able to find, or one we’ll have to make?

When we get to Omphalos and all this becomes real, maybe I’ll introduce a pet_name variable for the heir, just so XoR thread denizens can get it out of their systems.

Why are there only 3 countries (plus the Corsairs) in Choice of Rebels?

There are more if I recall right but since they won’t affect the main plot (or really any plot) Have is unlikely going to write more about them

But WHY did Havenstone only make 3 countries (plus the Corsairs)?

Will there be any content / advantages to being a secret Theurge all the way to book 2? I.e. Never use public theurgy in book 1 at all
