Nah that’s just cogdemos bugging out whenever anyone gets a achievement for some reason. Just make a save when it pops up, restart the game, then load it and it should be good
I’d argue she was more like a Lenin while her daughter was Stalin. Chances are by the end, Hera was despairing like Lenin was about how to actually bring about her Utopia.
The consequences of her reckless pursuit of empire and utopia would surely begin to appear and judging from how quickly her daughter locked the Hegemony down and began to suppress history it was definitely something Hera and her senior generals and companions were thinking of already.
I just don’t think that (the one’s not involved in the conspiracy that ultimately took her life) anticipated her dying when she did.
Her daughter had to solidify her position and then answer the question, “What is Hera’s Hegemony without Hera?”
I don’t think she ever had an answer for that question and the system she created to buy time for her to find that answer began to self-perpetuate into non-existence due to reasons that we don’t fully understand and are not meant to at this point.
Dont take brenden in xaos land as cha 2 character
Im outside now and will help you when i will get back
What! There’s more?!
Forget Irduin, Vigil hear we go again!
Oh no worries, I should take my time with the demo anyway. Seems like there’s some content that I missed. And I haven’t progressed very far in Part II, I’m sure that will change my perspective somewhat.
Absolutely. And this is true to whatever the current leadership’s plans are as well. That’s probably not something we’ll get real inklings of until we meet Sarcifer and the Successor.
Kleitos’s agenda is completely opaque to even someone like Cerlotta.
As you are playing int character have you become xaos healer? Becouse its very good scene and also very hard to get
Kleitos knows what they did and why the Wards have to be preserved. Something to remember is Cerlota basically told us that Kleitos is no longer human as we can imagine Him.
The Thautmarches are so focused on something that they’ve bent their whole formidable will to it. They’ve sacrificed everything that could make them human towards this potentially. So much so that the mundane concerns of running the Hegemony they are the Masters of is beneath their worry. The Ennearchs are the one’s who manage the Hegemony to allow the Thautmarch to fully dedicate themselves to whatever it is that they must.
Very much like the God-Emperor of Mankind holding the Webway shut and directing the Astronomicon. Sure he’s technically human. But he’s so focused on these things that anything that resembles humanity is gone.
Hera did something very bad, so bad that it means that the most powerful Theurge in existence can’t leave the Capital or even spare more than a few moments most likely to direct his Hegemony in person.
I healed some of the villagers with herbs and theurgy, that’s it. What am I missing? This sounds exciting!
Praise the God-Emperor of Mankind!
You need to have gone after Hector in book 1 and failed in a certain way. This leads to the mc arm being badly hunt then a INT 2 mc (You die otherwise in this case) figures out how to heal it which can lead to them figuring out how to reverse changes inflicted by Xaso Storms (on a small scale) in the village
This also makes you a open Theurge in book 1 in chapter 3 so it’s a really bad idea for a chap4 battle run
MFW it’s revealed that the “Thaumatarch Protects!” from whatever eldritch horrors the first one unleashed and that’s another of the problems we have to find an alternate solution to.
Oh wow, this seems really intriguing.
I haven’t actually completed Game 1 with an INT character yet but I read somewhere you can actually capture/kill Hector with theurgy, so I’m a reluctant to fail there. But this might make it worth it.
There’s nothing as intriguing as the storyline concerning the Xaos storms. I was already invested in the new religion storyline but this seems more important if it could eventually lead to ending the storms.
Open theurge is not a problem for me, I enjoy the storyline exploring Wisadry so I already went open theurge. Also makes for a better story for why the rebels choose to follow you.
You can’t actually it leads to the arm thing I was talking about
Yeah annoyingly Hector is smarter then he seems for such a rage baby
Even if you levitate him? I’m close that that point in my playthrough, guess I’ll see for myself
Cerlota is upper management. She was being groomed as Ennearch Lacevra’s successor, she knows everything that the Thaumatarch feels you can know without a bomb collar.
It’s why I’m not thinking too hard about what a world without the Hegemony looks like. Hera broke the balance somehow and this was the solution her successor settled on.
Hypothetical regimes and alternative policies are cool to toss around and debate, but that’s like step 20.
We don’t know anything, just like our characters don’t know anything. There’s a reason why the Xaos storms happened and the Unquiet Dead. There’s a reason why the Wards were created.
Holy moly, he’s a tough cookie
Btw, is there a way to get rid of Radmar? He’s a lot nicer now that I’ve tried making Zvad my deputy, but other times where I’ve made Breden my deputy, he is intolerable (with high compassion).
Everyone’s always asking about how to get rid of Breden but I just want Radmar gone. Especially after he tries to kill Breden - actually he killed me in my first playthrough with high CHA (I had 1 COM, thought I’d be a hero for Breden and stop him myself
).
Funniest thing com 1 can do is to kill telones child. Also have you got telone in your band?
Get him offed at High Crag, or allow him to kill Breden then execute him in return.
I can’t allow him to kill Breden, she’s my main RO and wife by that point. How do I get him offed at High Crag?
Also I can’t believe he would attack the PC too, not when you’re Elect or go with Inner Voice.
This happened to me and I reloaded my game lol
But yes, I convinced him and his family to join. Btw this doesn’t seem to be an option for this demo, it only asks about his family running off into the wastes.
If its not too much trouble. I myself have experianced vigil and saved the unwanted tribe members, but have no idea what the totem quest, xaos seed and reiver weapon plots are.
